The pricing was very reasonable and the cleaners arrived on time and were courteous. However, the service we received was not to my satisfaction. While the carpets certainly did LOOK better, the smell of cat urine was WORSE. A cursory internet search will tell you NOT to use steam cleaners on cat pee, because the heat from the steam actually causes the proteins in the urine to bind permanently to the synthetic carpet fibers. Shame on us for not doing that research prior to contacting Baltimore Steam Cleaners... But you would think professional carpet cleaners, who advertise "Pet Solutions," would know better. Unfortunately, our only option at this point is to rip up the carpets. Also, they said they would take care of moving the furniture, but less than half of the furniture was actually moved. The rest they cleaned around. I would have been happy to move things out of those rooms ahead of time, but we were assured that they would take care of it.

Dodge the Job was prompt, courteous, and professional. They sent me information about what they needed before sending an invoice, they communicated with me leading up to the cleaning day, and, once on site, they explained to me the process they were going through (including how long they would take to clean, how long we'd need to wait until they dried, and what could help accelerate this process). Although the previous owner said he'd had the place cleaned before the final walk-through, Dodge the Job immediately knew that the previous owner had a dog just based on the condition of the environment.
