Stopped in here to grab a quick bite to eat. The staff was all friendly and greeted us promptly. We got some guacamole and chips for the table and that was there by the time I came back with my salsa. They have a great salsa selection with multiple options from mild to oh my god. Lime Fresh has been around SoFlo since I moved to Miami over 15 years ago. Since then the chain had different owners and management but it muscled thru the tough times and I'm glad its still around. There's actually one just 5 minutes from my home but we went to one of the newest locations at River Landing Miami. We were greeted promptly by the manager who took our orders. She recommended some new items including the Pork Empanadas, Smoked Pork Guava BBQ Tacos, and the Smoked Pork Burrito in which they collaborated with popular 4 Rivers Smokehouse. OMG, they're both amazing. Meat was so tender and flavorful. I highly recommend the empanadas. Super crunchy shell filled with delectable juicy pork inside. Of course, we had to get their Fajitas Platter, Chicken Quesadillas, and Guac n Chips. These are musts at Lime Fresh and they're always made to order. Fajitas are always served in a sizzling plate, the guac is always fresh and the quesadilla is always cheesy. If you have room, dont skip on the Churro Bites. Fresh made and melt in your mouth. I also recommend the Key Lime Pie cause after all, this place is called Lime so it has to be good, right? This place will always be my go-to fast food. It is fast but everything is made fresh. The service and ambiance were excellent. I do have some criticisms regarding the food. We are coming from California and Texas, so perhaps our standards are higher. If you are expecting classic chicken tinga, then do not order it here, as it was white mushy chicken. The texture felt as if it came from a can, and lacked the traditional Tinga seasoning. Furthermore, some of the sauces also seemed canned, and the rice resembled bens with enchilada sauce. Might be great for some folks but not recommended for Californians or Texans. read more

My personal favorite, the Asada Bowl, includes a surprising amount of Steak, rice, black beans, pico de gallo, caramelized onions, salsa asada, cotija cheese, tortilla strips. I then customized my bowl at the salsa bar - additional lime slices, salsa verde and pineapple salsa. So delicious!! They have both indoor and outdoor seating and are just steps away from beautiful riverside views. 2 hour free parking at the Riverlanding garage, so you can shop and eat. They let me get a couple of the tacos with fried mahi & the others with grilled mahi, which was a good way to try both. My only issue was that the actual crispy taco shells tasted like they were fried in rancid oil. I had to pull the fish out & eat it with the nachos. They were very good that way. The best thing was the service. The rice was crunchy in the burrito. The Mexican Coke was good but for $4 , I'd rather have a beer or a fountain drink for half the price. The sauces all looked nasty not fresh. I did try the sauces and they tasted a little better than they looked. The Burrito was overall bland. Ambiance is nice but the quality and taste of the food really had me questioning ever going back to a lime. Hated it! Was always great before, now it's greasy, the chips are refried and hard not light and crispy as before. The quesadillas are so greasy the tortilla falls apart Yuck! Can't even get my all time favorite Cilantro sauce anymore, that crap sauce is nasty Never going there again!!!!!! I wanted to love this location because it's so close but I've gone in twice for takeout and both times my order has been wrong. I asked for grilled fish tacos both times - the first time I was given fried fish, the second time I was given chicken.
