My first time coming to the nail salon, I was looking forward to it. Ive always walked past it and saw how busy it was. Almost all the nail tech seemed open and friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, my experience with the nail tech that was assigned to me didnt seem so welcoming or in the mood. I specifically informed her no ingrown, and she reiterated it back to me. So I was confident she was aware. As soon as she started doing my pedicure, she was very aggressive and heavy handed as if she was frustrated with something. At first, i didnt say anything, and continued to try to tolerate it. I repeatedly found myself twitching because of how uncomfortable i was. When it was time to cut my cuticles she kept digging and digging into my skin and tried to cut my ingrown. It was very painful. It got to a point where i felt the sharp tip of the nipper and instinctively i pulled my foot back. I did start bleeding, and she apologized. I told her i didnt want to continue, but she insisted. I let her finish her job, so i allowed her to do so. I was left disappointed, and uncomfortable, especially since this was my first time at this salon. I understand everyone has their own techniques and styles, but the amount of pressure and the way my skin was handled made my experience very unpleasant. I personally would not recommend the person i got unless you have a preference of someone that is heavy handed. Out of respect of the person, i will not put her name in public. Nail tech= nice but her interpreter with reddish brown hair was actually SO RUDE to me. Hated that I had questions, was rolling her eyes at me and being actually aggressive. She closed books while they were in my hand and snatched them and it pinched my hand. WTH are you doing? Why are you being this way?? My nail tech was not the one doing this so I tipped because it's not fair the one doing the labor gets less money because someone interpreting for her is being extremely rude. I will never come back here again. Like 2 stores down there's another shop and they don't have fancy chairs like Lilly's but they're nicer and their polish is better! The polish here is EXTREMELY dull and bulky/nasty anyway. I really hate my toes but it's not the nail techs fault. My nails too are messed up too. I came into this salon with a full gel set from one week ago. But since I'm about to travel, I decided to get them done again. . The Tech initially talked me into getting dip instead of gel. Because I asked her to put acrylic to make my two thumb nails stronger. She did not do any strengthening of my nails as I requested. and she did not do dip powder as I requested. That was fine, whatever. But the entire time from the beginning , I said I wanted French tip --- I wanted them to look just identical to the manicure I had on when I got there. and for whatever reason , the Tech did light pink and no French tip. To make the matter worse, a past customer came back for the Tech to fix her nail. And the Tech seemed pressed to finish my nails to get to the other customer. I then realized she was putting the oil on my fingers like she was done. I had no French tip! I kindly asked her to continue my nails to complete the French tip over the ugly light pink. And she agreed. But FAILED to be able to do a SIMPLE French tip. It was absolutely insane. I finally asked another tech to do it instead. And the second tech COULD NOT do it either. They blamed it on my nails. When I just had a perfect manicure and nothing about my nails influenced that one. It was absolutely crazy. I ended up leaving with no French tip. I usually go to a spot down the street from them, but they were closed and I needed my nails done urgently, worst mistake. I really wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. To be fair, the nail tech was very sweet and accommodating, which I appreciated. However, the lack of experience really showed, and the results were disappointing. Even after leaving, I noticed my nails just weren't it. I went back, and to her credit, she was more than willing to fix them but even after the touch-up, the shape, the outline, the overall look was still awful. They look like duck nails. IYKYK. Before I came in, I called to confirm the price as recommended from Google reviews. When I got there, the environment felt unwelcoming with no one at the reception desk until a nail tech called to the receptionist who was found chillin at a massage chair on her phone. She didn't even bother to say hi or help me, so a nail tech had me sit and wait a few minutes. I ended up getting Vicky and she didn't say hi or smile so I was nervous. I asked for almond shape, red French tip. She had to redo my pinkies 2x because she couldn't get the sizing right. I went in today for a wax, and from the moment I sat down, I was made to feel uncomfortable. The technician began the wax and immediately started commenting on my skin, saying it was "dry" and that I had a lot of blackheads and whiteheads. Instead of offering these thoughts in a professional or considerate manner, she was dismissive and even laughed while doing the wax. I wasn't expecting a facial consultation during a waxing session, but if she truly felt that I needed one, it could've been addressed in a much more respectful way. On top of that, the pedicures I've had in the past were always overpriced for the level of service I received. I've been to other salons that offer far better service for a lower price. I had an extremely disappointing and unsanitary experience at this nail salon. I went in for some simple French tips, but they completely messed them up. Shape was uneven, nails were bulky. Nothing seemed to be properly sanitized. I had to question and correct the nail tech on various occasions but when I asked what the price was she said the price was set at $75 because we are also paying for her "experience" Now don't get me wrong I would not mind paying that amount if only I had actually received that "experience " she was talking about. Under the sun they looked even worse with uneven layers of paint making them see through in certain places. At this point I could no longer let it slide and had to ask for a refund. When I politely brought up my concerns and asked for my money back, they refused and instead offered a "free set next time." I made it clear I wouldn't be returning after such an unprofessional and unhygienic experience. I had to tell her multiple times that she was hurting me, even when it was obvious one of my nails was more sensitive as there was VISIBLE BRUISING! I came in for a gel x removal and when she went to soak my nails in acetone the water was SCORCHING hot and I told her it was and she IGNORED ME. It wasn't until I physically couldn't dip my nails in the acetone, therefore she couldn't remove it she added some cold water. Not to mention not all the gel x was removed. I had a interesting and very uncomfortable experience at lily's nails... When I got there they sat me down quickly, the two nail techs said "gel nails?" I was saying no I want French tip mani pedi, the nail tech seemed confused when I said that almost like she didn't really understand my English. Just do the job without making a big deal. The boss, my nail tech and the others made me feel super uncomfortable. After there was a lady nail tech just sitting across from me staring at me. The worst part is that I was on my period and was feeling extra sensitive that day i seriously felt like crying and just stopping them I wanted to leave.....I didn't because my birthday was the next day and I wanted to get my nails done to feel cute...I don't think I'll be coming back here again. I was able to walk in on a weekday afternoon with no appointment. There are many tables and chairs with a large open floorplan. Place seems to have a good number of employees for the time of day. Plenty of parking in the structure in the back. I just wanted gel nails and a regular polish for pedicure, but ended up with a bigger bill after being cornered into getting the deluxe manicure with gel polish and an extra 10 minute half-hearted massage for an additional $10. This place pushes very, very hard on upselling and won't take no for an answer. I was even admonished for choosing regular polish for my pedicure instead of gel and my choice of color was questioned. I would be more happy if the quality reflected pricing, but the next day I can clearly see bubbles in my gel polish. I don't know if the gel polish was old or if it was applied incorrectly , there are multiple small bubbles on several nails. Terrible service I went in for acrylic removal i asked for a soak off. I was told to have a seat and wait. after 15 minutes an older lady told me that sit at her station she questioned me about why I was taking my nails off then begins cutting my nails off after cutting them and filing one hand down with the drill. she gets up and sees "her client " walking in she comes back over to me and says oh my client is here so I have to take her. someone else will finish your removal I said okay after another 15 minutes goes by someone walks over and says if you have the time we can soak them off I told her that's what I asked for a soak off. She says okay and comes back with a metal bowl with scolding hot water with a plastic bag in it she pours a small amount of acetone in the bowl and tells me to put my hands in it throws a towel over the bowl and walks away. As I put my hands in this bowl I notice how hot the water is I say hey this is too hot they all ignored me but are looking straight at me I say it again just in case they didn't hear what I said the water is too hot. 2 minutes later the old lady with "her client" walks over and tell me if I can wait 30 minutes for her to take them off because apparently nobody in the shop other than her knows how to remove acrylic nails. Feel like the quality keeps getting worse. I thought it was just the last two times I came here. Always come here for a pedicure. I told the woman not to use the grinding tool on my toe nails because they're getting very thin. If possible a nail file and just cut of the extra nail cuticle. They don't listen or language barrier. Needless to say they love the tool that sands your nail and cuticle because it's faster and now I have a broken toe nail. Not coming back. They put very little callus remover, don't wrap your feel on the ceramic wrap and scrub your feet for 32 sec when I'm paying extra for callus remover. The nail tech working on my hands kept burning me with the e-file and told me it was my fault just to try to upsell nail strengthener. She kept filing and filing and filing down my nail beds with multiple different harsh e-files. She kept using her cellphone to call and use social media, and not in pausing points for my nails. My tub for my pedicure had dirty water sitting in it when I walked up. I had to keep my feet up on the chair until they started filling cold water onto of the dirty water. All of the nail soaking is done in cold water. I've never experienced that before. I kept asking for hot water and it was all cold. The technicians are all distracted by each other and their phones to give any attention the job they're doing. read more

NEVER AGAIN! i came with my sister to get our hands/ feet done, (i usually go to Judy's but i forgot it was sunday lol) when we showed them the photo references for what we wanted (french tip nails with a 3D gel flower on a nail// french tip with tropical flower design) they said they can do it. after 4 cuts and a choppy cuticle removal they ask to see the photos again after applying the acrylic and they started telling us that the flowers were too big and they were ugly and that the flowers that she (older lady w gray hair) does is prettier... we ask her for a picture of her nails and she doesn't have any so we blindly trust her and what she says. when i say that woman can't take criticism i mean it, after every step she would ask my sister "does it look okay?" and every time my sister pointed anything out the tech had a reason for it being like that. even down to the shaping, her nails were very round and when we requested for them to be filed in a bit she said no because it's perfect and that she has to keep it like that because of how our BODY FIGURE compliments it. this confused us because that's the first time we had ever ever heard anything like this, but like she kept repeating she has 40 years of experience and she knows what she's doing.. she kept bringing up the flowers and was charging us $15/ each flower + $15/ french tip which looked so thick i can take notes on it.. i settled for a solid color because they were dodging the questions on pricing when we first walked in and took be quite honest i couldn't deal with my nail tech either, she cut me multiple times, she messed up one of my nails (why is it pointing up) she also only "cleaned" one side of my hand it looks a mess, SHE WAS WIPING MY BLOOD WITH THE SAME RAG SHE USED TO COLLECT DUST FROM FILING NAILS and i'm scared i got an infection because my finger tips HURT. my sister on the other hand got the french tip and took out the flower because at that point it sounded like the tech was trying to convince herself that she could do it... i hate that i'm still typing but it infact does get worse.. she service finally is over and our total is just under $300 we tipped the ladies who did our pedicures because we had no complaints, we didn't tip the manicurists because the said we were paying for service and experience and neither were delivered. still we paid and walked out. by the time we got to the car we were even more mad because just when you thought they looked a little bad they looked worse outside. we went back, told them we didn't like them and if we could just get out money back, it's like hell broke loose in there. they literally threw money at us every time we complained about something but couldn't just refund us, we didn't care if they removed them or not but none of it besides the pedicure was worth paying that much. after 20minutes of arguing with them because the best they were able to do was write on a post it note "free set + design" and give it to me to redeem for "next time" but i told her we're past that and at this point there is no coming back for us. other people who were getting our nails done asked to see our hands and everybody agreed that yes these are not quality work. even with that they had excuses on excuses for everything and it seemed like the only way they understood the point we were trying to make was by asking them if they would be proud of their work if we were to post our nails on social media and tag them. only then did people start coming out from everywhere offering to fix the nails even the owner tried to grab her "best nail tech" to fix our nails but like i said we were past that, customers shouldn't have to make multiple trips for something they should've gotten the first time. if i could leave 0 stars i would because this place was terrible and they threw $30 at us and told us to leave, the owner and the nail tech both walked away cursing and yelling. we understood there was no professionalism in that establishment so we left. i can go on and on i have a 20min voice recording of the entire interaction. I paid extra for the callous removal too. My nails were dry too. She forgot the cuticle oil. A very poor job done. I left in a rush and didn't observe closely. I didn't think I would have into inspect everything to make sure it was done right. I ended up cleaning my cuticles and fixed it myself when I got home. It was VERY expensive for my full set and pedicure but I did choose the most expensive pedicure. They will try to convince you to get the most expensive one and I don't know how to say no. Overall the first experience was good it was just expensive so I decided to give it another try with the basic gel pedicure and manicure. Linda Lhin who did my nails never spoke to me, never greeted me, she was extremely fast and rough and kept tossing my hands. She looked mad the whole time. That was the worse experience I've ever had. When she was done she just walked away. It felt like she decided not to like me and not to give my much needed nails the proper attention I was paying for. The pedicurist once again try to push for the most expensive pedicure but this time I firmly said no. She took her time and acknowledged me but I see red paint outside the nail. As much as I wanted to like this place because of how Michelle did my nails the first time, I won't be back. It's on the more expensive side and I've had better service elsewhere. read more
