Just got horribly RIPPED OFF from this nail shop !!! Stay away from this untrustworthy unprofessional place !!! - They DO NOT HONOR the offers they post on Yelp. They said that for the "check in yelp promo,"I need to call them in advance and tell them that I'm using the Yelp promo before I walk in to their store - NONSENSE !!! - They first mention the price to be $60 for single color gel mani + pedi + a $10 gel removal fee but when they swipe your card it ends up being $101 !!! $31 dollars more because I picked the single color made by "Japanese Gel" and their package was in English/Chinese - UNTRUSTWORTHY !!! - The equipment and tools were not sanitized - GROSS !!! - they got gel on my skin/ fingers and did not clean it - UNPROFESSIONAL!!! It's a cute little store with plenty of parking behind the storefront. I actually booked the appointment without nail extensions, but changed my mind at the last minute. They were really nice and didn't mind the last minute request. I used one of the photos from Yelp as a template, so I think uploading my photo would just be redundant. Overall, the price was $120, which I think is very reasonable given the amount of time, effort, and materials put into the work. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

I've been here twice. Two of the younger girls did the cat eye gel mani and single color pedi for me. They were sloppy in terms of shaping the nail and cleaning the cuticles, but i was ok with slight imperfection. I also noted that their gel only lasted less than a week. But their price was very cheap, esp with the promo on cat eye gel. The second time i got a hand drawn design for mani and chrome gel for pedi. Given, what i wanted was really difficult to draw, i do not blame the manicurist Nancy for the not so great result. However, the young lady who did my chrome nails was terrible beyond words. She did not know where her tools were, not sure if her kit was sanitized, did to know the steps to doing a chrome nail. Nancy, who did my mani had to walked her through it, but it didn't help because the result was unbearable. I'll include a pic. Bottom line, the younger girls in this salon are sloppy and unprofessional. My frds who recommended me this place felt bad and she told me that the store owner is the one that does great designs. read more

I was racking my brain trying to figure out which nail place to try in this area and i'm glad i picked this one. like the other reviewer said, because i didn't speak mandarin some of the workers and customers stared at me unwelcoming but the nail tech who did help me spoke english and honestly i love her work. she actually had a small conversation with me , worked quick and did a great job. i have ingrown toe nails and she handled it with care and as painless as possible. i didn't get her name but she's really tall with dyed red hair streaks. two things surprised me, 1) one of my nails dried weird and without asking she fixed the problem before i even said anything ! great service 2) she helped me put my shoe back on to avoid messing up my fresh polish ill come back soon for a mani (: even if it was an awkward walk in. read more

THE BEST NAIL SALON, EVER!!!! Angela has been doing my nails for about a year now and after meeting her, I would never go anywhere else. She's SUPER SWEET, METICULOUS, and her ATTENTION TO DETAIL is nothing I've seen before. She's an ARTIST with a steady hand that can bring your vision to life. If you bring her a picture of what you want (animals, lace, fruits, rainbow, even characters like Totoro and Pikachu), she can draw EXACTLY THAT AND MORE. This isn't a nail salon where you show a picture and it comes out nothing like it (I'm sure this has happened to some of you before). Angela can absolutely deliver and even give you suggestions on how to make it even better. She uses higher quality Japanese products that are designed to last and even after 2-3 coats, my nails look natural and you can't tell that it's gel. I used to NEVER get gel because they would feel heavy and thick, but now it's the only thing I get because of Angela. Goodbye, ugly nails that chip within a week! I'm sharing some of my nails in the last year with you Yelpers. I'm proud to say that I get compliments everywhere I go! I consider it a FANTASTIC INVESTMENT - my nails never peel or chip and still looks brand new after a month. On top of that, as a food blogger that frequently takes pictures of food in my hand, I believe my beautiful nails have gained me more followers! THEY DO NOT DO ACRYLIC HERE. only regular polish & gel. Their gel is a different type of gel. It doesn't come in a nail polish bottle and they use a brush to paint it separately. I just needed a last minute place to do acrylic for my birthday and this place didn't seem too busy their English wasn't good. I went to the place and they told me that they actually didn't do acrylic and they said they told me that over the phone but I guess I didn't understand what they were saying. Mention Yelp for 20$ off mani/pedi. Not sure if it applies to gel only ? The tech was really accommodating and actually tried to talk to me despite the fact that her English wasn't too well so I thought that was really sweet of her. This place is okay. Everyone is warm and friendly even though only 1 staff member speaks English. But the job was mediocre. -They barely pushed the cuticles back. Same day they look like they've grown out. -Nails are different lengths. -Gel is awkwardly thick. -$40 for a gel manicure is on the high end, especially for San Gabriel and especially for less than perfect work. read more

Literally hung up with me just because they didn't understand english... wow great service...what a joke

The girl who did my mani was very diligent and careful, but she didn't have the right supplies to work with. The polish was watery for every color that I was interested in. When she saw that the polish color was coming out too faintly, she said I could choose another color to redo it, but everything else I chose was diluted too. She did a good job of carefully applying multiple layers to make up for the watery polish, but it still wasn't the quality I wanted. Also, the salon didn't have anything for drying polish. They brought out the tiniest, weakest little fan, which could dry maybe 2 fingers at a time. It basically didn't do anything, and after 10 minutes of futility, they told me that I was done and could go. Of course, my nails weren't dry yet, but they were trying to get rid of me, so I paid, left, and messed up my wet mani within a few minutes! They don't have a price menu, which made it suspicious and weird when they had to discuss among themselves in Chinese before telling me the price of a mani.
