Working with Chef Dana was an incredible experience! He listened to exactly what I was wanting and offered suggestions to accommodate my needs/wants. From the initial menu planning to the night of the event, the communication was open, and he answered any and all my questions quickly. The night of our event, he arrived early to the home and had an array of appetizers readily available as my guests arrived. The dinner presentation was top notch and the food was prepared to each guest liking. Dana and his team handled not only the food prep and cooking, but the cleaning up afterwards. This truly was a hands-off experience for me, and I was able to enjoy the dinner party as a "guest" myself. I wanted an item that was not listed on the menu as an option. He not only obliged to my request, he went a step above and beyond and created a recipe from scratch to accommodate! The entire menu from the appetizers to the bite sized desserts were a hit among all my guests. Chef Dana was so easy to work with. I enjoyed his responsiveness and his open communication style. He prepared a fabulous meal for our party of 10. We enjoyed a spring mix salad with toasted walnuts, pickled onions, goat cheese and a sweet onion vinaigrette. We also had the biggest beef short ribs I have ever seen in my life. Fred Flintstone would have been jealous. The grilled asparagus and mushroom truffle risotto were the best I have ever eaten. He dialed in the seasoning perfectly. Nothing was too salty or too tasteless. Chef Dana is VERY good at his vocation. We cannot wait to book him for our 28 year reunion in March 2023. Looking forward to the next meal he prepares. Dana did an amazing job catering my 40th birthday party for 45 adults at our home. He walked me through the process of picking out a menu that was absolutely delicious. He was very supportive and answered my questions without being pushy yet giving me the guidance I needed with this being my first time hosting a party of this type. Lilypad Catering provides lunch for my crew of 20 people today and everyone raves about the food - so fresh, so delicious. Working with Dana was great too - the menus are customizable and he came out personally to set up and make sure everything was perfect before he left. Chef Dana was a pleasure to work with! We held a surprise 50th dinner/wine pairing event for my husband. Dana helped me create a 5 course menu that everyone immensely enjoyed. Dana put together the best menu that delighted my guests. They loved the chicken with peppers, (those who eat meat), and the quinoa/couscous salad was the hit for the vegan/vegetarians. There were mixed reviews on the salmon mousse stuffed mushrooms; some couldn't get enough of them, others wanted more salmon flavor. Doesn't matter much though-they all dissapeared. Food was incredible. Roasted beef shoulder was the biggest hit. The vegan meals he made for the two vegans where delicious, they were so glad to have something other than steamed veggies and salad.
