Delicious food presented with flair, even with no dairy and no gluten. Our group enjoyed the food greatly.

I hired Craig and his team to cater my wedding, which took place at a remote venue about 2 hours outside of Tucson. The event was a challenge because not only was it remote, but I was also planning the event from the other side of the country. That meant I didn't have the benefit of meeting with caterers in person, trying food in advance, and undertaking all the traditional steps of finding vendors for a wedding. I knew I had found the right person to handle the event from the very first call. He was cordial, asked the right questions, clearly communicated his requirements, and was honest. He didn't disappear or go radio silent after I signed the contract and he was communicative all the way through the planning process and leading up to the event. About two months before the event, he graciously drove the two hours out to the venue to conduct a property walk-through with me when I was in town for the holidays. He refused additional reimbursement for his time or gas money to get out to the venue. In the last month leading up to the event, I communicated to Craig that a few of my guests had some allergies, and one was vegan. This was a quaint wedding of only about 20 people, so that meant coming up with some original alternatives for those few individuals. Furthermore, I hired him to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner the day of the wedding, which exasperated those challenges. On the day of the event, he had a custom vegan-friendly dish prepared for all three meals and took extraordinary precautions to prevent allergen cross-contamination. Every single meal was punctual, artfully presented, and delicious. This is not your standard wedding food or copy-and-paste banquet meal. Craig is extraordinarily talented and was continuously present throughout each meal to greet guests and present his dishes. Every guest was impressed and raving about the food. In addition to the tremendous food, Craig also helped to arrange servers for the event and even helped bring additional tables for the event. Craig is just a genuinely good person and you cannot do better than hiring him for your next event.

I was just thinking about the holidays the other day. Chef Craig will go to your home and teach "how to cook the best holiday dinner ever". After using his service... my family member's insulin, blood pressure and cholesterol levels all went up, medications needed to be raised. 3 weeks off the diet due to hospitalization all dropped back down and insulin was lowered. He does not know what he's doing. And the taste is subpar!!! I refused to eat his meals and my family just made due, which I just found out. I would have fired him months ago if I had known they didn't like his food either! But yet he's a "celebrity chef"! People will say anything... be warned. I should also mention that when asked to present his licensing, insurance and qualifications... he failed to do so by completely changing the subject! ‍

She…read morewas the chef for a recent retreat I attended, and not only was the food stellar, but Chef Karen is a total hoot. She is the exact personality you want for events, easygoing, funny, kind, and dedicated. (And she has great taste in music!) I also want to share that when some of our participants were stranded by a car they had booked that never showed, Chef Karen went way above and beyond the call of duty, and made sure that the attendees got to their plane on time. Obviously, this isn't a thing that should be expected, but it's important to name things out loud when folks are extra-awesome. And Chef Karen is 100% extra-awesome! My only complaint is that she lives on the other side of the country, so it will be awhile before I get to have her food again. But if you're near Tucson, get some Chef Karen in your life!

Karen took the time to work with us to make delicious food we could both fully enjoy. She was so patient with us and so willing to make everything right. I most highly recommend her.

I could go on and on about the responsiveness, professionalism and attention to detail (intricately folded napkins, drink pairings, ect) but the food itself was the real deal. No smoke and mirrors, Max surprised us with delectable & mouth watering food for HOURS. We were served several courses of small plates poolside and accommodated a later than anticipated dinner service. At no point did they rush us or make us feel less than royalty, they made sure we took our time and enjoyed our evening. (Doug also gave us a lesson on opening a bottle of champagne with a kitchen knife, although optional.. 10/10 recommend) Do yourself a favor and skip the fancy restaurant, call these guys and wow several of your friends with this experience. Our menu was custom and it was so affordable. Doug and Max made this not only a fancy dinner, but an evening we won't soon forget. Thank you gentleman!! Will be talking about this with our friends for years to come.

My workouts did not feel productive and my energy level was not the same. I wasn't sure if this would be feasible for me but I dove in head first. The first person I spoke to was not the right fit and I was then referred to Chef Beverly. We spoke by phone and after a great conversation, set a time to meet to see if this was something that would work for both of us. I liked her instantly and felt very comfortable with her. She took the time to really listen as I told her about my crazy, hectic life. She took notes as I told her my various likes, loves and dislikes. We talked about my nutritional goals and needs.. She was very easy to talk with and I was so impressed at how much time she spent with me and gave me ideas in how we could make this work for both of us. Over a few emails, we worked out the menus, times and days and then we were off to the races. It has been a wonderful partnership and education for me. I wanted to become familiar with my kitchen again and Chef Beverly has helped me to do that. With her help, I have gotten my shopping down to a science and have learned when extra is good and will get used up and when it's overkill. She has introduced me to new foods and flavors that I never expected. I needed high protein and she spent time researching my nutritional needs. In the time that we have been cooking, I feel great. She is always great about checking in mid week to see how things are going and how the food is tasting and if the amounts are right. She is open to opinions and ideas and is such a joy to work with. The convenience of being able to look in my refrigerator and grab what I want for the day and just go has made things so much easier. I do not have those carb cravings that we all survive on when we are exhausted. I can tell you that my goals were to eat healthy, clean foods, learn how to prepare these meals on my own, not waste money at the grocery store and graduate to doing this on my own. Thanks to Chef Beverly, I am on my way to meeting all those goals and it wouldn't have happened without her fantastic cooking skills, her knowledge, her patience, the lessons in time management, grocery shopping 101 and the camaraderie in the kitchen. The rates suited me perfectly and I was happy to trade all the take out for this healthy alternative.
