I thought maybe we just had a bad night there... we went to our friends wedding 2 weeks later and it was just as bad. Staff is horribly rude and unprofessional, they throw away the food you pay for during the MIDDLE of the event. The alcohol is the cheapest they can find but they charge more than double for a drink that a bar does. Don't do it.

Which sin is that you may ask? Being stingy with sauce. I ordered a 3 meat platter and it comes with only 2 2oz cups of sauces. 4 oz of sauce is not going to take care of 3 meats! They have 8 sauces in all but that's only a tease. Are the sauces made of gold because they better be at the $1.00 they charge for another 2 oz cup of sauce. I could live with $0.25 but out of the 321 or so or so BBQ joints I have been to on Yelp, none of them wanted to keep me from their sauce like Brass Pig. By the way, it wasn't mentioned on the menu. I didn't know how much it costs until the bill showed up. My waitress, who was wonderful by the way, I asked her about it. She told me she would get in trouble if she didn't charge me for sauce and she hated it as well! So to answer my question - Brass Pig should receive a 4 because the sweet tea was refreshingly sweet and everything on my plate was delicious. But it gets a 2 because I am never coming back. There are plenty of other BBQ joints that willingly give their sauce for free, make it in-house, and don't charge as high for extra 2 oz of sauce.

They were easy to work with and very communicative over email, and they were the nicest people in person! They were reasonably priced and met all of our needs! They also provided sound equipment, microphones and lighting for our DJ. All of the equipment worked well and had great sound. We have no complaints about Tri-County Event Rentals and highly recommend them for any wedding!

These people are the absolute worst in the area. The owner is a complete jerk. She responded as anyone would (without yelling or using foul language) and the owner refused to accept her payment and told us they will not rent to us...after we had already paid them! Throughout the entire process, the owner and all the staff were rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional. I just got off the phone with them, as they refuse to talk to my fiancé now, and the owner said she's posted a refund to our debit card but the transaction hasn't showed up and this is day 3. When asked how long it usually takes she responded: "I don't know, I'm not a credit person." in a very rude, cold tone. I'm afraid I may have to report them to the BBB and get in touch with an attorney in order to get our money back. The whole experience has been utterly terrible. We were initially quoted a price for tent + table + chairs + dance floor. They itemized the costs. When we removed the table and chairs, the price did not lower accordingly. The difference was a few hundred dollars higher than it should have been. It appears as if they set the cost at whatever they feel like at the time. If you want your wedding and/or party to be a disaster, these are your guys. Otherwise, save your bride the stress and look elsewhere :) Update 6-6-11: They short-changed us on the refund. BBB complaint was registered in hopes of receiving the rest of the refund. Update 8-8-11: BBB closed the complaint unresolved: "Customer not satisfied with business response; BBB did not find business made good faith effort to resolve complaint". The complaint was to receive the rest of our refund to which the owner went on a 450 word rant about how good her business is, how many weddings they have a week, what liars we are, and how terrible we were as customers. Conclusion: This business has treated us like the trash. The owner is incredibly rude and our very simple problem of a refund was not resolved (they were willing to take a BBB hit rather than issue a full refund?? Talk about a hard-headed morons!). A business that dropped us days before the wedding and wouldn't even issue a full refund...I can't imagine why anybody would want to do business with these scammers.

I knew that I wanted dahlias and Audra really helped me create a vision and walked me through all the flowers and colors that would tie everything together. She was very responsive throughout the planning process. On my wedding day, I was truly delighted to see the flowers because they were better than my imagination. I also love the fact that the flowers came from her farm. This location is center in the Festival and draws young and old, former residence, current residence, friends, classmates ex wives, ex husbands and alumni in for it's libations. Class Reunions, get together's etc. happen here all during the event. The Beer Tent is always set up and open during the duration of the Festival and the bar located just inside and down the stairs is open as well for mix drinks. Typically Fraternal type places are for members only but the during events they allow non members to come in and have drinks and food. By the way some of the best Fried Chicken I have ever had come out of the Hall this last Saturday during the Festival. For more info about membership you'll need to talk to the good folks that are there as I was just a visitor during the Festival. If you are from the area you are almost guaranteed to run into someone you know!
