If you pay via credit you are assessed a 2.5% service fee. Vietnamese is spoken amongst the staff however, everyone knows Eglish well that I have talked with. DONT GO HERE! I went in for a fill they said I needed a full new set ( my nails were only 2 weeks old) so I said ok.. the lady, who was young, put the foil on my nails and left me sitting there to be on her phone for 20 minutes then came back filed my nails down soo much I kept saying ouch she cut me 3 times her glue didn't work to glue on the tips so they kept falling off. I wish I was exaggerating but I'm not when I say that she re-glued the tips 5 times. After 2 hours she finished my nails and because the glue didn't work the nails had a very strange lifted shape where the tips were "glued" on at- instead of a nice natural shape. I told her they were going to fall off and she assured me they wouldn't. I walked out two broke I walked back in and she said I can't give u a refund but u can come get them done again. I go back the next day (today) my nails are seriously throbbing from the day before. I asked her to take the nails off completely and do a regular manicure with regular polish to avoid all of the filing which would only cause more discomfort. I asked if I could have the price difference from the manicure, I had previously paid $45 the day before for dip. (Even though the menu says $40?) Surely a manicure with regular polish isn't $45. She said no but I could get a basic pedicure with the manicure and she also told me she was giving me $3 off because it should cost $48 for a basic pedicure and a basic manicure. I just can't figure out how your employee ruined my nails and I am forced to get more services from your business when I just want my money back. I have to wait months to do anything to them and your sorry is $3???? Something somewhere should've been upgraded $3 is nothing. I was there again for another 2 hours not one other person came in or called. I thought I'd try this place since it's right by my kids school but worst idea ever. I was really nice during the whole process I'd never act entitled or mean but I am just very disappointed in how they handled both situations. You have been warned! read more

Worst pedicure I've ever had. If you ask to shorten your nails be prepared to see your nail in half. Expect to walk out in your own shoes regardless of if your nails or dry or not, they just don't care. If it's snowed expect to walk on ice because they don't care enough about their patrons go shovel snow. read more

This is my second time here. The person that did my nails is VERY slow. I was at the salon for 2:15 for a dip and polish change. I wanted a dip tip and the person talked me out of the tips, however I am very happy with the dip. I also needed a toe polish change (shellac) and was charged $25.00 for a polish change. I asked why it was so much and I was told I was paying for skills?!? I do not mind paying for "skills" however 25.00 for a polish change is highway robbery when a pedicure is 35-40. I am surprised to see the bad reviews! I have been going to Lily Nails for more than 5 years. I get consistently great service and they greet me by name. The prices are reasonable and the salon is always clean. I get shellac manicures about every 3 weeks and shellac pedicures about every 6 weeks. Lots of color choices and they are few great at nail art. I often bring a picture from Pinterest and they always doo a great job. They also do my eyebrows too. I previously had a pedicure done here with gel, nail polish, and it was fantastic. It lasted almost 6 weeks. I made another appointment to get a manicure and pedicure with gel polish because of how well it went the first time. This manicure and pedicure was not cured correctly And the layers started peeling after three days. I called and asked if they would fix them and they said yes she asked when I would like to come in and they let her know that I had an appointment at the DMV and was not sure how long it would take. She said anytime after 1030 I arrived at 1:15 PM because I told her my appointment was at 11:30 AM. She then said that I missed my appointment and could come back later. I was unable to do that and I left, but some thing felt off about the situation. I called to ask if they take walk-ins, and if I could get a gel manicure and pedicure and she said she could see me in 10 minutes. I asked her why she was able to see a walk-in in 10 minutes but couldn't fix my nails when I was there and then she denied that the entire situation ever happened. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I came in after making an appointment for 6pm to get my nails done for my wedding this weekend. The nail tech immediately gave me a hard time for wanting simple rhinestones on my nails. The other nail tech working on my feet gave me the worst French pedicure with the white paint so thick it was obviously off. He refused to change it so now I have to find somewhere last minute to get my nails done again before my wedding. Please do NOT come to this nail salon. They are unprofessional and rude to the point where I wanted to leave and couldn't because they had put rhinestones on. The worst experience and ruined my wedding nails. Do NOT go to this nail salon !!!!!!!!!!! They gave me a fungal infection on my toe after a pedicure which was SO painful and had to go to the doctor to get prescribed antibiotics to fix it because it got so bad. Not only that, I paid over $60 for a normal dip set (not even acrylics!) And they chipped within THREE DAYS. unacceptable. I was very disappointed with this service. Any nails you pay $60 for should last WAY LONGER than 3 days. Would not recommend, and I will definitely never be back there again. (On top of this I was leaving for college in 3 days so I had to spend my remaining few days in Colorado going to the doctor for antibiotics, then spending an additional $20 on the medication, and even going back to the salon after 3 days to get my nail fixed.) so disappointed. read more

This place is definitely a gem. The prices are reasonable and I've never had a bad experience here. I usually get the pedicure and I've gotten a manicure once and it's always been a relaxing and enjoyable time. They have plenty of seats for pedicures so I don't usually have to wait too long for my turn. The people that work there are nice and accomodating. I have sensitive skin so I ask that they not put the gritty lotion on my feet and they comply without ever questioning. I've had a flower put on my toes before just to make them extra pretty. But warning, you will pay more to have the flowers painted on. But they looked absolutely perfect so I wasn't complaining at all! It's my second visit to Lily's Nails and I will keep coming back. The place is clean, the chairs are comfortable and the staff is extremely friendly. I always call to make an appointment but there have been a number of walk-ins while I'm getting my service and they always manage to get them in. The staff doesn't pressure you to get anything done you don't want to and they are upfront about pricing if you decide to add or change anything. Visiting from NYC so maybe that is part of the problem; the competition is fierce there, so the general quality of mani pedis are high, and so are my expectations. Bad ventilation in the salon, dark and dingy besides the attempts to use bright wall colors, mediocre color selection. I repeatedly asked for square with round sides - you can see the result in the photo posted. Uneven nail sizes and shapes. Poor painting job -- the lighting is terrible in there, which is probably why she painted over the edges, and didn't apply an even and smooth top coat. Sigh. Even with all my coaching this was a horrible experience. If you can help the convenience of its location, go somewhere else!!! read more

She cut my big toe nail cricked and I had to tell her to make it straight. She couldn't fix it so I had to do it myself and showed her what she messed up. **A couple of months of not coming back, I went to a cosmotology school (national beauty college) down on 72nd and pecos and saw the same chick who couldn't even cut my toe nails straight. My mom and I have been coming here for years. It's super convenient because we live right up the street, so I suppose it's also our fault for falling into complacency and not branching out to try other salons. At a previous appointment I was tsk tsked for peeling my shellac polish off my nails - please tell me I'm not the only one who finds it so satisfying to rip a whole shred of paint off once the nails begin to peel! I heeded her advice and came back a week later to have my shellac properly removed. I came back on a Tuesday afternoon around lunchtime and it was dead. There were a total of 3 people in the salon and I took advantage of the slow lunch hour by squeezing in both a mani/pedi. The chairs must have been malfunctioning because my water had neither jets nor warm water. The older man began clipping my toes and filing without asking if I wanted to keep them long; I had to pull away twice to let him know that I had already cut them short earlier that week, but he continued to saw away... After having shellac done twice within the last month, I figured I'd try the SNS which I'd heard other ladies rave about because they strengthened the nail and felt/wore natural. Now, I should have prefaced this by stating that I am NOT a beauty guru by any means. I can barely apply my eyeliner straight, let alone navigate all the different nail trends. I have had acrylic nails exactly 5 times in my life and I swore them off after seeing how destroyed my nails were upon removal. Before starting the manicure, I asked if SNS was anything like acrylic because I wanted to stay as far away from that as possible. The lady assured me it was nothing like acrylic...and then the drill bit came out. Again, I'm basically challenged when it comes to the beauty world, but if SNS was promoted as being a "healthy, natural" alternative to acrylic/gel, what is the purpose of my nail/nail bed being sawed away into submission? I had to pull my hand away multiple times - and apologized! - for her nicking my cuticles with the drill bit. At one point, she nicked my cuticle and it bled, but didn't bother applying the cuticle glue(?) that stops the bleeding. I was exhausted just watching the multiple layers of powder, gel, and other concoctions being applied to my nail and, well...you can see the end result for yourself. Working in both the service and retail industry, I understand how challenging it is to meet the demands of the customer. I am NOT the person to complain about poor service, lukewarm food, etc. But I was visibly unhappy and walked out in tears because my cuticles were so raw and the SNS was so thick that my nails were too stiff to move. I went to get my nails done and they honestly did such a terrible job. Got acrylics, you can still see my natural nails. They cut my fingers and made me bleed. I have been going here for about four months now and I won't go anywhere else. I get the SNS manicure, which is similar to acrylics except it is a dip powder and it makes your nails stronger. It always lasts 3-4 weeks and I absolutely love it. I'm a vet tech so I am very hard on my nails, and recently had chipped two of them after a hard day at work. I went in to see if they could fix those two nails, and they did it free of charge! I was so pleasantly surprised. I would recommend Lily Nails to anyone. read more

BIG changes since Lily recently sold her salon to new owners. Lily is still there and does very good work however the new owner needs some lessons in customer service. Three different times I made an appointment over the phone to have my nails done by Lily and all three times she was not aware that I had an appointment when I came in. The last time I brought this to the new owners attention and she actually wanted to argue with me about whose fault it was that Lily did not know about the appointment. Male workers now have a weight bench in the salon and lift weights when they're not working with customers. VERY unprofessional environment. So sorry Lily, but I won't be back. read more

This used to be a great nail shop when they first opened - not so much anymore. The people doing nails never smile or engage - just seem to be going through the motions. Kinda grumpy. One last thing: lots of whispering when customers leave. Extremely rude! On the plus side, they still sterilize their equipment after every use and use throwaway files/buffers. This is critical. I went with friends that said this was the place for a great pedicure, they even got me a gift certificate so I would go with them. We arrived last Wednesday night and were greeted promptly and I was taken after a short wait back to a chair. I have been in the business for 42 years and get Pedi's every month to handle ingrown nails so I know the drill. Their was a man sitting next to me getting a pedi and it looked like a nice job so I had hope. We started with me saying I wanted them short and he filled well but not short enough so I asked him to go shorter and of course he ignored me...I then asked for the first time if he was going to remove my ingrown, he ignored me again.. Remember that man that was next to me, well he got up and left and a young lady came in for a pedi and they did not clean the basin, just rinsed it out and started her water.. Made me sick to think they did the same to me. He then started the massage part of the pedi without asking me if I wanted the more expensive hot rock ( always try to upsell or make sure you are aware of what your client wants) and he barely touched me. By this time he had massaged lightly in the same spot for at least 2 minutes and I had enough. I asked him to please stop I did not want any polish because I would need to go to my regular gal at Snappy Nails on Grant (amazing). AND HE IGNORED ME AGAIN. I asked the girl doing my friend right next to me to ask him to stop and finally he did. At that point another girl doing my other friend asked me if I had ingrown's and I said yes you heard me ask twice if he was going to handle it and she wanted me to sit down so she could cut them out. Of course if you have this problem you know they do this when they are soft right out of the water because they hurt like hell later, so I refused. Please be aware that you can get raging disgusting infections from non sterile basins!! Especially if you have shaved your legs that day or the night before! This was such a bad experience that I had made up my mind to never go back and just use word of mouth to make my clients aware but after the dirty conditions I had to at least leave feedback. read more
