They do wonderful arrangements and the owners Sue Ellen and Bill are great to work with. It's a small operation, and they really go out of their way to take care of their customers. The prices alone are worth a drive from Bloomington. Bringing the kids here is also a lot of fun. They'll enjoy the Koi pond, and playing around the huge historic train depot, or exploring the beautifully planted mini golf course that surrounds the building. Considering it was last minute, rushed, they charged me far less than other florists near my home, and they opened up the store just for me: I wish I could give them a 6 star rating. I've been sending arrangements to my mom from this store for years, and they have consistently done a very nice job for a reasonable price. This is a very solid small business that I cannot recommend highly enough

When the store initially changed hands, it was rough, but I thought I would give then a few years for them to find their footing. This past Mother's Day was very revealing - I received the worst flower arrangement I have ever received in my whole life, literally. I feel terrible that my young son had to pay that much for an extremely substandard product - horrible actually. Too much to explain here about what was wrong about it - so sad that this is what Forget Me Not as become. I realize that Mother's Day is a busy and challenging time, but your recipients are mothers and deserving of better. I would not recommend this business; it has been a slow decline over the years.

I ordered a floral arrangement for a wake that I found on the Greenhouse Flower Shoppe website…read more When I attended the wake, the plant I ordered was drastically different from what I ordered. When I contacted the florist, they explained that they are affiliated with Teleflora and can't always accommodate the selection that Teleflora offers...therefore substitutions have to be made. Since I didn't notify them not to make any substitutions, they did their best with what they had on hand. To make things right, they issued me a full refund. They asked that for future ordering, it was best to call and they can let you know exactly what they have and what they don't, and can work with you to get things right. I appreciated the explanation of what happened and their willingness to offer me a refund. I will definitely use them in the future, and will call the Flower Shoppe directly next time and will not order online, as that is where the issue arose.
