If I could give ten stars, I would! Like some of reviewers out here, I am based in CA and had to get flowers delivered out of state. I wanted to support local business and came across Prospect Florist. However, I did not realize that the recipients of the flowers would be out of town and miss the delivery of our flowers. I was disappointed to say the least, but figured, maybe one of their neighbors can enjoy it so it doesn't go to waste. But it turns out, I didn't have to worry about any of that because Prospect Florist took the flowers back when they realized that the recipients were away on vacation and returned it to them when they got back. Fresh, beautiful flowers, not the same ones that got delivered weeks before, lol! I am so impressed with their customer service, they went above and beyond for us and I am truly grateful for that. I was encouraged by the fact that I saw a lot of positive reviews for this florist. Like another person who commented that they were ordering from California and were happy with the flowers that the recipient received, I decided to go with Prospect Florist. I'm not really an order online type of person because I like to convey to someone over the phone what it is that I want. I spoke to Julie, she was wonderful, pleasant, helpful and understood my needs. These were flowers for my aunt's 96th birthday. We went to this florist when we needed to order flowers for my father's funeral on short notice. We weren't really sure what to expect in terms of the process, but the florist was patient in explaining options and availability. She helped us pick out arrangements and flowers to go in them without being pushy. Though there was a flower shortage going on, she said she'd do her best to create arrangements that would be as close to what we wanted as possible. When we saw the flowers at my dad's services, we were stunned. They were gorgeous, and everything was as it should have been, down to the ribbons and pillow for the grandkids. The red roses combined with red carnations and white accent flowers were particularly beautiful and appropriate for my father who was a Vietnam veteran. I was so pleased with the service from Prospect Florist. First, I didn't put a signature on the card so they called to ask - awesome. Second, there was a misprint on the last name, they called to ask - awesome. Last but certainly not least, they sent a photo of what was delivered. One is never quite sure of what the recipient will actually receive. If you want quality product and quality service, look no further than Prospect Florist. They were prompt in processing the order and even sent a picture of the arrangement prior to delivery. Unfortunately, the arrangement looked nothing like the photo on the website. The website photo had bright colors with beautiful fresh looking red and pink roses. The actual arrangement was dark and dusky looking with funereal looking purple roses. I mean, it's SPRING now, for gosh sakes ! E-mailed the florist to ask them to correct the situation, but I have not heard back from them. read more

I can't say enough good things about Prospect Florist. We had to attend an unexpected funeral and with all the things and plans that were going on, we had forgotten to order flowers for the services that were to begin at 3 pm on Sat. Realizing this on Fri, I began searching the internet to order online and the first two sites said it was too late to order. I was so dismayed but decided to try one more florist - Prospect Florist. I thought calling might be quicker but it was already past 5 pm on Fri so they were closed. The order went through on their website but I knew that they wouldn't even see the order until Sat morning, and then to expect them to not only make a last minute large arrangement but deliver it within a few hours?...well I prepared myself to be disappointed. When we were in the waiting line at the funeral, I could see all the flower arrangements surrounding the casket. And while all were very nice, one stood out that was gorgeous and I thought "wow, wonder who sent that one". When there was finally an opportunity to go look at all the flower arrangements and read the greetings, I searched for my order. Bouquet after bouquet was not ours. Then I got to the gorgeous arrangement and had to contain my excitement and happiness that that arrangement was mine!!! I could hardly believe it. Prospect Florist's arrangement was the most beautiful one there and they did it last minute!!!! It was a sweet joy in an otherwise very sad day. The flowers were fresh and in excellent condition and Prospect Florist was cheaper than the first two online companies that I viewed. I highly recommend them for your floral needs. read more
