Similar to another's post on April 25th, I was extremely disappointed. When the Haabs owned the business the quality was outstanding - I patronized the business for decades - including my wedding. Sadly the new shop has just gone downhill horribly. When the store initially changed hands, it was rough, but I thought I would give then a few years for them to find their footing. This past Mother's Day was very revealing - I received the worst flower arrangement I have ever received in my whole life, literally. I feel terrible that my young son had to pay that much for an extremely substandard product - horrible actually. Too much to explain here about what was wrong about it - so sad that this is what Forget Me Not as become. I realize that Mother's Day is a busy and challenging time, but your recipients are mothers and deserving of better. I would not recommend this business; it has been a slow decline over the years. read more

The office staff was very helpful, but they forgot to deliver the dozen roses that I ordered for Valentine's Day. When I called, of course they didn't take my call and it rolled straight to voice mail. Needless to say, ruined my Valentines day surprise. Its sad that they can't be counted on because the staff seemed so helpful. But if you can't be trusted to deliver, you're not worth the cost. read more

We ordered a flower/plant basket from Forget Me Not flowers. I'll include the photo of what we ordered and what we got. By itself the basket we got is fine. But it is nowhere near as pretty as the basket ordered. Yes, they had the photo. As a matter of fact the photo I'm including was the one they put on the bill emailed to us. When my husband complained their response was "You ordered a basket with plants, you got a basket with plants." Not impressed with their customer service. read more

When my aunt's best friend passed away I knew I needed to do something to brighten her day up. Being that I live 2000 miles away, it is no easy task so I decided to send her some flowers. She lives in a small town north east of Bloomington but they delivered there with no problem. I ordered them around 11am and they were at my aunt's house before 1p. Yes, they are pricey. However, the arrangement was absolutely beautiful. I am glad I found them and if I ever have a need for flowers in the B-N area I will be calling them. Finding a good florist is not easy. We did a quick search to find a corsage for a graduation as ISU. Not only did they make one for us in under four hours, but it was stunning! While they are a little more expensive, you clearly get a superior product and work with employees that know what they are talking about. I would use them again! read more

I've done business with them only once, and once was enough. I ordered a flower basket from them through their online presence, and they could not find my location (had to call me at work). The delivered flowers were in a brown basket (as opposed to the white basket that was advertised on the website). The flowers were for my first anniversary. They misspelled my wife's name, as well. I ordered the flowers due to how pretty the white basket looked with the colors of the flowers, yet I didn't get what I ordered. It was a $60 purchase that I wish I could take back. When I called to inquire why the issue with the basket, I was told, "We were out of white baskets and so we had the right to change to a different colored basket. Was the arrangement to your satisfaction?" Last time I'm doing business with these people. Live and learn. read more

I have been a customer of Forget Me Not Flowers for many, many years. I have seen their quality decline and prices soar in recent years. My last two or three orders were a disappointment...pricey, undersized, and lacking creativity. My co-worker told me she quit using them several years ago due to disappointment. I did call and discuss, but a resolution was not offered. On the other hand, my order was taken by a friendly and helpful employee and delivered the same day. A mixed review. read more

I used this florist all the time for homecomings, proms, and hospital bouquets, but their customer service for my son's upcoming wedding assures that I will never use them again. Granted, it's not a large wedding, so I guess that doesn't qualify for stellar treatment, but rude doesn't come close to what we experienced. Unprovoked eye rolls, heavy sighs, and general disgust on the faces of the people "helping us" left quite an impact. It was so over-the-top, it seemed like a prank. Sadly, it wasn't. I booked Forget-Me-Not as my wedding florist and overall have mixed feelings about them. I worked with Eldon and was impressed with my meeting with him a year prior to the wedding. He spent a couple of hours with me asking about my vision. Price ranges were given for bouquets and bouts after this meeting, but no prices were given for ceremony or reception decor because these were still up in the air. Two months prior, we had our final meeting where everything was finalized. At the time of the meeting, I asked what the price range for everything would be. I was told that I would get an estimate sheet in the next couple of weeks. A month passes and I call to get my estimate. I was told that Administrative Assistant's Day was coming up and that I should call back after since they were so busy. I called later. I was told that Mother's Day was coming up and that I should call back later. Long story short, I didn't find out my flower cost until 2 weeks before the wedding and it was TRIPLE my budget. I ended up cancelling all my ceremony and reception flowers and ordering them online and arranging them myself. Forget-Me-Not did do the bouquets and bouts, and they were gorgeous. However, even these flowers were priced above the range I was given in my first meeting. If you use them, make sure you let them know your budget and make absolutely sure that they stay within your budget. read more
