I recently visited this spot for the first time and was so excited to check it out. I'm new to the area and wanted to show my fiancé because it looked like such a cute, trendy place -- and when we walked in, it smelled amazing. We saw they had wine and were planning a little wine night at home, so we were hoping to check it out while shopping around.
Right when we walked in, my fiancé asked to use the restroom before we continued. I asked the woman at the counter if he could, and her immediate response was, "Well, are you going to buy something?" I understand that people probably come in and ask to use the restroom without purchasing anything all the time, but it just rubbed me the wrong way.
That said -- I really appreciate that they reached out and took the time to apologize. It meant a lot, and it shows that they care about how they make people feel. I still think the space is absolutely gorgeous, and I'd be open to giving it another try in the future!!! We all have bad days read more
