It was an impressively sized piece of fish with a teensy cup of tartar sauce. It was then that I realized I hadn't asked if they used sweet or dill pickles in their sauce. I tasted it, it was sweet (ugh!), so I asked for some malt vinegar to try and substitute flavor. I really tried to eat and enjoy my meal, I used the vinegar, as much as I could squeeze out of the lemon and eventually a sprinkle of salt to give it some vibrancy.
