After contacting Eddie to inform him of the matter, he then conveyed to me that José, the technician, stated that he "felt disrespected" and that services to our dog would be discontinued. Eddie went on to say that because of the dog's disposition- there are no other techs who desired to "put up with him" and "José was the only tech who would groom him." The irony is: If in fact the dog were so unmanageable, amazingly, Eddie would call my friend to see when would she be bringing him in. If the dog were that bad, his services should have been refused 2 years ago. The final analysis- Eddie told me that he would refund me the money from the last service and that due to the dog's disgruntled disposition- there was a TLC fee, which we have never seen, prior to that day. As a patron, it was NEVER about the money. It was about José failing to follow instructions and when the issue was addressed, the company assumed a stance of victimization, which resulted in poor customer service. Accountability goes a long way a business, and sadly, they chose not to be held accountable.

For credit cards they do add a fee for the processing which is fair so we Zelle every time to avoid the fee. Prices are competitive and it's actually lower than you would think. Parking is always available.

At the time, Pop Tart and I had known each other for only about a month. I was still potty training her, I knew very little about her previous training and I had no idea how she would behave around other dogs. She was sweet, but I live in Downtown Houston, and downtown life frightened her. That random recommendation from a stranger was a blessing! Today, all I have to say is, "Do you want to go to school?" Pop Tart immediately knows what I mean. We drive there with her window down, she recognizes the route and she can barely wait to get out of the car. Once inside, she makes a point of greeting every single member of the front office staff before she is escorted back to play. The shy dog I adopted has become confident, social and playful... a little bit bossy! Pop Tart plays well with big dogs, small dogs and takes every opportunity to zoom. For those of us who live in downtown apartments, having a safe, consistent place with both indoor and outdoor play areas is invaluable. I love that the wood fence protects the dogs from being watched or triggered by the street. BLDH has also become an important part of our community. I have met other pet parents through the business and some of our dogs now have play dates outside of school. Her 'classmates' even came to Pop Tart's birthday party! ***My entire family follows BLDH on social media because everyone feels invested in Pop Tart's days there. And they're obsessed with the content.*** The quality of care is deeply personal. Everyone knows Pop Tart. They send photos, communicate quickly and call whenever something is off, whether she has an upset stomach or has rolled herself in chalk!!! Kerry is easy to reach by email and is often available to talk in person. The daycare team is first class. We have also used training, grooming and boarding. Angel is an excellent trainer who provides detailed updates, thoughtful advice and homework that has helped both Pop Tart and me. Pop Tart now walks beautifully on a leash, can sit, lie down and stay, and I know how to redirect her when necessary. Cris has somehow managed to get her to enjoy bath time. When work emergencies have happened, BLDH has even accommodated last-minute boarding requests. That has been HUGE for me! I love that the business is locally owned, cage-free and genuinely designed around the comfort of the little dogs. Boarding dogs sleep on beds, not in cages. The online booking system is easy, the events calendar helps me plan my schedule and their social media updates about activities and last-minute grooming availability are useful. They also offer thoughtful extras, including CPR classes and lower weekend daycare rates. I do not trust anyone else to watch Pop Tart when I am away. BLDH gives her fun, exercise, structure, affection and a place where she feels completely at home. They give both of us individual attention and I truly believe they care about our lives, not simply our business. These are dog lovers who get paid to love our dogs. TLDR: Our dog was attacked and they claim that he scratched himself. First photo is a pic from them…read moreand the rest are after the area was shaved for veterinary care. Judge for yourself if the injuries are scratches or bite marks and if a dog is physically able to scratch itself on the inside of its ear. They are very clearly puncture wounds to us and our vet. --------------------------------------- Dropped off our blind dog 11.24.2025 at roughly 3pm. The morning of 11.28.2025 we received a message that his ear had been bleeding and they believed it was from scratching so they provided him with the expected medical care. Afternoon of 11.29.2025 they told us he was "shaking". My wife was able to pick him up early and take him to the emergency vet (Saturday evening and regular vet closed) who shaved and treated the area and gave him antibiotics. We did follow-up with our regular vet and they determined that the injuries were puncture wounds from a dog attack. When we told them Fur Paws said the injuries were from him scratching himself they looked at us like we had just told them 1 + 1 = 3. In spite of the records we provided from the vet showing his treatment history and their diagnosis of "dog bite wounds and vestibular disease" Fur Paws claims he arrived there with some condition that led to him scratching himself (on the inside of his ear too!). He arrived 11.24, they noticed wounds 11.28, and by the afternoon of 11.29 he was shaking so he had a fever. It takes 24-72 hours for infection and then a fever to occur so one can do the math on their claim that he arrived with an ailment already. Then you add in that these are clearly not scratch marks and you see that they're questioning our intelligence with their explanation. Send your dog here at your own risk.

I mentioned I was uncomfortable and I guess I'd have to put my dog in the car. Even though the girl at the front saw me struggling with the freezer for my dog's cake, she didn't help me. She also walked away when I wanted to check out to the grooming area. When I echoed my concern about the unleashed dog, despite their own policy, she told me she couldn't control the groomer's dog. This policy is in place for everyone's safety.

It has been a week since both my dogs were groomed at the bubble club and they still smell and look…read moreamazing. I have two cockapoos that came in shaggy with mats left over from their monthly grooming at other facilities and the results from bubble club were beyond what I expected, truly fantastic. The bubble club groomers were so patient and knowledgeable on how to groom cockapoos. My dogs are used to being groomed but always come out stressed and ready to leave, but with bubble club they came back so calm and relaxed I was surprised and deeply appreciative. 10/10 will come back next month
