Like I wouldn't have been able to tell by tasting it. I also have had cakes from here (various friends' parties), which is how I first heard about it. My favorite cake is the Blueberry Earl Grey cake. The earl grey flavored pastries here are amazing. Such a great distinct flavor that is not too heavy and pairs well with the fruitiness of the blueberry. I also tried their strawberry shortcake matcha latte. Very very sweet, but a great pick-me-up (which is actually unlike their pastries which I'd consider to be "not too sweet" = perfect sweetness level for the Asian palate). The staff was very pleasant, and they put my pastries in different bags to note which ones to refrigerate and which are okay at room temperature.
