I ordered lunch from this place some years back but they were in a tiny portable building off Silverleaf. This time I ordered breakfast and it did not disappoint. I got the Diana with a side of hashbrowns. Every time I go (3x now), they've been a little busy but the wait times aren't bad. I haven't had to use the bathroom so I'm not sure if they've got one. There is dining in seating although I'm not sure how they delineate using dinnerware vs to go containers. read more

Ordered Diana's Special with Pork Chop Lemonade Cotton Candy Quality of food - 7/10 Flavor- 9/10 Customer Service- 3/10 The staff that was checking and handing food out was not too friendly. Even as expected we know they're not a fast food restaurant. But the wait times for food are pretty extensive. Also, the lemonade was bland no sugar or had to be watered down I called the order in at 9:25AM Didn't retrieve food till 9:58AM Overall, will I come back? Honestly, more than likely no Food was good but nothing to have a person running back for it especially with the wait times Staff could be more friendly with assisting customers read more

We came here for breakfast. The wait wasn't too bad. I had the pancakes and my wife had the French toast. I love the nice RnB music playing in the back ground. The food was good and I will return to try the lunch menu. read more

This was my first time visiting the new location. I'd visited the old spot for lunch once years ago. We visited on a Friday morning around 10am. The decor was nice and clean with great R&B playing. We had never been so we were unsure of what to order and didn't see a menu. Once I got the menu it was already time for to order. The lady taking the order was patient and gave suggestions once she heard what we wanted. The cost was reasonable. We decided to dine in but most of the patrons were ordering to go. Our food was made to order and was pretty good. I had French Toast, eggs, bacon, and grits. My hubs had the pancakes, sausage, hash-browns, and a side grits bowl. The food was decent. My husband had to add some salt and pepper to his hash browns , and I think the grits could've been creamier, but other than that everything was pretty good. read more

I tried this place for the first time this past Thursday for brunch! I had the French Toast and 6 piece chicken plate with a side of Mac n cheese! It was amazing! The fried chicken was fried fresh and was still hot by the time I traveled back to work to sit down and eat!! The chicken has a sweet and savory flavor which I loved! The French toast pieces were also thick and fluffy! It was a great combination that was suggested by the cashier/cook. The Mac n cheese was also great, it had a good consistency and flavorful as well. The building was so welcoming had great music playing! There is a bar, as well as ample seating and parking! It was maybe a 20 minute wait from ordering to my food coming out! It was a great experience and I'm sure I will be back! read more

Food - (4.5 stars) I ordered the Diane Special--French toast, sausage, grits, and scrambled eggs. The French toast was honestly the best I've ever had, and I'm not even a French‑toast person. The grits were good, and the scrambled eggs were cooked just right. The only miss was the sausage, which was a bit hard and not very flavorful; I'll choose a different meat next time. Service - (3 stars) Our waitress was great--very attentive and checked on us regularly. However, the experience at the counter was the opposite. The gentleman taking orders wasn't welcoming, seemed rushed, and asked what I wanted before I even had a chance to look. No one else was in line, and with such a busy menu on my first visit, it felt unnecessarily hurried. Ambiance - (3 stars) At 11:00 a.m., the restaurant was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Note: i was visiting from out of town. read more

The pork chops are always delicious and the price is reasonable I like having breakfast here

Please, don't waste your time and money. The food was not worth it! The location and prices were inaccurate on Yelp. The fish and grits plate has grits and three tiny fish strips that were heavily breaded, fishy tasting, and un-fresh (like they should have been thrown out, instead of cooked). I had to throw the food away, smh. I also bought two biscuits that were cold and hard(one came with the meal). I was charged for condiments that I didn't ask for, nor was I made aware I would be charged for. I was not able to return the plate for a refund within 2mins of purchase, because I walked out the door to my car, opened my food, and then attempted to return. I will definitely be staying away from Lillie's kitchen. read more

Great service and the food was delicious. The food was cooked to order but the wait time was adequate.

It was my first time there I ordered the Ronald omelette with no peppers,. My eggs, all burnt up, there's not any bell pepper in the shit. Barley got hash brown in it and on top of that they still put all these jalapeño peppers in the shit. It looks like my plate was just thrown together like I'm a dog. And for the price this is, this is not perfection. My first and last dammm time gonna there. He'll noooo! I deserve a refund. read more

We chose Lillie's to eat with family and friends. The location was a little difficult at first to find but the place is clean and inviting. ALL the food was great! We all ordered different items and everyone was pleased with the portion size, taste and price. Not many places offer as many choices of side items and desserts. We will return again, just wish they were open longer. Great place!! read more

Decided to make this our first food stop once we arrived in Baton Rouge. They definitely did not disappoint. The service was excellent and the food was A1. Located behind a small convenient store in a trailer, this small establishment puts out some serious flavors. Typical wait time is around 20 minutes per order since everything is made on the spot. I ordered the meatloaf and my girlfriend ordered the fried chicken. Both of us were more than happy with our food and the portions. We'll be back next time we're in the area. read more

It's been a long time since I've been here and the food has always been amazing. Everything was hot and fresh. The grits were really good and the fish was crispy. The French toast and the chicken wings were amazing as well. One person shouldn't eat this much food but I was stuffed and happy. I hid in the car so I didn't have to share. There is a bit of wait bits it's worth it. You can either wait in the car or sit in the sitting area they have provided. read more

After being the first to review this restaurant and loving it. I haven't had the opportunity to make it back until now. Today I ordered the fried fish dinner with candied sweet potatoes and the corn. The sweet potatoes were definitely the best part of this meal. The catfish strips were tasty just small. read more

Doesn't look like much on the outside but I think the person cooking in the inside loves to cook! The menu has a variety of things for breakfast lunch and dinner! Today I just had a basic club sandwich and fries which was good for a sandwich I just didn't like the cheese I could tell it was processed cheese and not real cheddar. The fries were hot and fried perfectly. I just so happened to come when the cake was fresh out the oven yummmmmy! It was hot and moist 7up cake that was melt in your mouth delicious goodness! read more

The food at Lillie's kitchen is Delectable. You are give very Small portions but it is really delicious. I will be coming here again.

OH. MY. GOSH! Found this place via Yelp. I don't know how or what took me so long to try this place. The space is a tiny little blink and you'll miss it building. Its behind a car wash. But, It's def worth stopping in! I went with the 6 piece fried chicken wings with a side of Mac n cheese and mustard greens. Man, I had to call my grandmother and tell her step her cookies up! The chicken, was crispy, juicy, rich in flavor, & nice in size. I cleaned the bone dry! The Mac and cheese gave me Thanksgiving flashbacks! It was so cheesy. The greens were delicious! They have plenty of sides you can choose from. I felt like I was eating a home cooked meal on a beautiful Sunday. My order was ready for pickup when I arrived and the lady who waited on me was pleasant. I can't rave enough! Get here now! read more

The food here is amazing!! Nothing I haven't liked so far especially the fried pork chop sandwich!

Best fried chicken I've ever had. The macaroni and cheese and candied yams were also on point!
