Wasn't expecting excellent tapas food in Barnstaple of all places , a small town I found myself in for a family funeral. Looked up an online review , and we found ourselves relaxing in the cosy front room on sofa. Our female server was excellent : attentive and friendly . We had the mezze platter of grilled veggies + domades, along with hummus and the most delicious tiziki dip I have ever had. When our broad beans came with a bit of chorizo , instead of vegetarian , the chef came over and apologized and took it off the bill immediately. We would have eaten it anyway without complaint as the paella also had chorizo and chicken. Really impressed with this little spot !!! Please keep up the great work , hope to visit again one day from Canada read more
