After discussing my needs, I decided to bring Joanne several pairs of pants and shirts for alterations, which she had done in no time. I called ahead of time to…read moreinquire about the amount of time it would take to press out my dress, a ball gown with lots of layers or tulle, and was very clear about when the dress needed to be picked up before I headed out of town for my wedding. They said the timeline wasn't a problem but when I came in on Friday to pick up my dress the girl at the front counter initially said she didn't believe it was done. A gentleman came out and insisted the dress was as "good as it was going to get" and that the obvious wrinkles were because of the way the dress was sewn. It took a steady stream of seven bridesmaids, three Mom's and myself three hours to steam and press out the dress which Pine Cleaners clearly did not even touch. I was issued a refund without question but there was no apology. The money isn't the problem, it's the trust in a business to do their job and keep their word and the hours spent pressing a dress that should have been spent in celebration. I would recommend not trusting this establishment with handling your garments for any special occasion.
