The prices were a little steep, but there is a clearance rack and some reasonably priced pieces that won't break the bank. After almost 3 hours of driving, it was time for a much-needed break. I pulled off onto a promising exit, yet nothing looked like a great option to meet my urgent necessities. Then, gleaming like an oasis in the desert, I saw it: The Evansville Costco. Upon first glance, I could tell this Costco was fresh and new and would probably be a great experience. The outside of the building, with its brick and stone facade looked both high quality and also inviting. I must admit that this review is incomplete, as I simply visited two very important areas of the store: the restroom and the food court. Yet, I could easily see the rest of the building and I'm sure this Costco doesn't disappoint. The restrooms were clean and well-maintained. After that relieving experience, I made my way to the food counter for a tasty all-beef hotdog combo. With an empty bladder and a full stomach, I was ready to get back on the road. I have probably been in or through Evansville only once or twice in my life. While I have been through Southern Indiana many, many times on drives to Florida, I always take I-65 and haven't traveled far enough Southwest to drive through Evansville. But since Indiana finished a large, new section of I-69, this was the best way to travel to visit a buddy who moved down to Tennessee. If you ever find yourself traveling down 69 on your way through Evansville and you need a nice place to take a break, may I humbly suggest the most beautiful Costco I've ever seen! Maybe pick up a rotisserie chicken for the road.

When we walked in, we were greeted by several employees, and even offered a tour of the store so we would know where to look for different items. We were feeling as if we were let loose in a candy store as if we were kids. I found several items I had not seen in other fabric stores. The store is very well laid out, organized clean, and the sales help was exceptional. I do not feel cheated out of going to Paducah, as I am bringing home several really great fabrics to work with crafts and garment construction. I would recommend the store to anyone who likes to sew. The store is also a babylock dealer so it's nice to see familiar machines in the store as you walk in . Every item that you buy is actually recorded with your name and phone number so in case you do need more items they can ship it to you. I thought that was a pretty good touch. Highly recommend

But it seems near impossible to find that exact fabric except on Etsy were people were charging $20 for a half yard piece and I needed at least 2 yards continuous. I stumbled across this website in my searching and they had the exact fabrics that I needed for a totally reasonable price. I ordered it, And then found a second fabric I also wanted to order but the website wouldn't let me order the whole piece so I called first thing in the morning. The young man who answered the phone quickly found the exact fabric I wanted measured it for me, added it to the order I had placed the night before, which he had already packaged, and then even combined shipping for me! Shipping was fast and I am so in love with these lovely fabrics! I would love to be in the area to visit this fabric store!
