I called and Tom said he would refund my money. I told him I really liked the shoes and hoped that the other shoes would be returned so I said I would wait a week or two. A recent experience at the store was very disappointing because they failed to put proper pricing…read moreon products. I picked up an item that had an on sale sticker on the shelf below it. But when I went to pay for it, it rang up with the original price. I addressed that with the manager and he said that it was not his responsibility that some items not on sale, would get placed with the wrong sale item. I found him very disingenuous and failed to give any consideration for his customers. I asked the girl at the cash register to call up the manager and she said just go back and take a picture of it. When I got back there, I was ambushed by the general manager, who informed some things get moved and the price didn't apply to the product sitting above it. I believe that the general manager could use some training when it comes to his customers and not wait to ambush them at the location of the product. I consider this to be a bait and switch tactic. They were hoping the customer wouldn't notice the change in price at the register. Therefore, I would give them a very low rating and now I know why I don't do any business with them. Be careful when you buy something from Academy. If you don't watch them, they will steal your money at the register.
