I began checking things out and found my septic tank is full and in dire need of servicing. I called up WEST SIDE DRAIN to check their availability. At first it sounded like a few days out , so I had to keep calling around. After 10 minutes and no luck with other companies. I got a call back from West Side, they had an opening! Their guy was there in less than two hours. Greg was very professional and helpful with any questions I had. West side drain service was outstanding , I will continue to rely on them for all my plumbing and septic needs. A big Thank you to the staff at West Side Drain.

We asked Nick to come out and give us a quote to replace a macerating toilet with an actual…read morenot-disgusting, working toilet. This involved cutting into a wall and then into concrete in the basement below the bathroom to run a sewer pipe (the old pipe from the macerating toilet was zip-tied to the wall in the basement). Nick was very responsive to email and text messages and kept us in the loop at all times, which is one of the reasons we ultimately hired him. He always let us know his ETA whether it was arrival for the initial estimate or the work that needed to be done. He listened to our somewhat uninformed ideas about what we wanted to do, and gave us reasoned options backed up by years of experience. We were very happy with the plumbing work completed (Nick made sure to clean his area each day he was here and brought his own drop cloths to protect the floors) and it was obvious he knows his trade. In addition, and perhaps most importantly, we liked having Nick at the house. He's very personable and friendly, and as an added bonus, our dog loved him (and vice versa). We plan to ask Nick to do some additional plumbing work in the basement bathroom once we get our act together.

PDX SS was referred to me by my new General Contractor. I had another contractor start a remodel…read moreand then walk off the job. After much debate, I needed to have the foundation that had been poured removed and fill in the hole. I was really struggling to find anyone to even bid the project, let alone take the job. Rob, the owner, showed up, bid the job to my new GC, was forthcoming about when he could start and what the costs would be. He was no nonsense, good for his word. Showed up with his crew and equipment the day he said he was going to, and every day till the job was done. He came across many issues with what the previous contractor had done, but he also came to me with solutions and the means to fix them. You have to love a guy who brings you answers to the problems you didn't even know you had! It was one of those, "this couldn't have gone any smoother" transactions. His crew was very careful with their equipment and made sure not to damage any of the surrounding areas, i.e. sidewalks, trees, fences, the neighbors cars. I'm pretty sure that man could tie a shoelace with that excavator thing he was using. Rob did everything he said he was going to do and even more. He went above and beyond. It's very rare, and hard to find honorable, no nonsense guys like that these days. This is an amazing team. A well run business, and just an all around great company to work with. I couldn't be happier. It's hard to see in the pictures, but the "after" photos show where Rob actually had some rich soil brought in and planted grass seed in it for me!! He didn't have to do that, but he did because that's just the kind of guy he is. One of a kind for sure.

Alvin came with understated confidence of someone with much experience with re-piping jobs. He was…read morevery punctual, professional and knowledgeable. He walked us through what would be done, how it would be done and the reasons behind their method. His time estimates for job start date and completion were spot on. He communicated very well, was forthright, and dependable. Could this job be found for less money? Maybe. But it's hard to beat someone who specializes in repiping a house. We found the overall package and guarantee desirable. If ever there is a problem with the job, one phone call to this company with a good Better Business Bureau rating will resolve it. Their strong relationship with the pex pipe manufacturer just another plus. And the new bath and shower fixtures that had to be installed were very satisfactory. No buyers remorse here- I would not hesitate to use them again. What about the crew that came to do the actual job? There were a number of aspects of Jason and his crew worth noting. They showed up on time with a crew of five: Jason, Tim, Mike, Kira and Caleb. That assured me they would complete the job in a timely manner which they did-- finishing in one day by 3:00pm. It also assured that no one person one the crew would be overly taxed, which typically can translate to better quality of workmanship and greater capacity to give attention to detail. It was clear when I met them, as with Alvin, they had a quiet confidence about them- they do repipes day in and day out. They knew exactly what they were doing- it was obvious they were not going to be surprised by anything. They got to work, moving systematically through each phase the job, each team member off to care for their assigned task. It seemed best to use a company that specializes in re-piping jobs and this job went off without a hitch. I am very satisfied with the result.

They were true to their estimate, and he came back a second time to look at the bathtub situation. 5. These people are honest and very professional. Also, during the flooring job, a toilet that had been removed for the tiling work was no longer functional when it was replaced. Devin and Fred quickly diagnosed the issue and later acquired the correct parts to properly re-attach and repair the issues that had arisen. They worked late and insisted upon making sure everything was in perfect working order before leaving our house. I would highly recommend Fred and Devin of Advanced Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing work and would definitely use their services again in the future.
