Another reviewer said, "No atmosphere, like a bingo hall". That's hitting the nail on the head if you sit inside so try to sit in the back outdoor space for spectacular views! We all ordered the catfish dinner. We all agreed that it was excellent. The outside crust was crispy, not greasy, and the inside was juicy and tender. The catfish fillets were large, very generous portions. The dinner included a side and a trip to the salad bar. The salad greens were crisp and fresh. The salad bar isn't huge but has plenty of options. It was very good. My review is based on eating on a recent Wednesday around 5pm. The restaurant was pretty empty when we were there. We had a great server too. We are from out of town. We wouldn't hesitate going there again to try other food options. Although, I'd have a really hard time not reordering the catfish again! And I would sit outside on the back patio!

The hamburger steak with provolone, mushrooms, Onions, peppers and gravy on side (my request) was so stinking good. Definitely a house made hamburger steak (not pre-fab from Supplier). My husband got the Fried Smoked Bologna sandwich. He said it was the best he has ever had. Appetizer of fried pickles were very good and just enough for the 2 of us. Service was very good and attentive. Waitress did a great job of answering all questions and offering insight. It is definitely a locals place but we didn't feel out of place- atmosphere was welcoming and restaurant was clean

My husband got the fried shrimp, he said the shrimp didn't have a lot of flavor but were fine. Again I can't say how amazing the friendliness was and acting like we were all friends. Very impressive.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Heber Springs!…read more While vacationing in the area, our party of five visited this restaurant for the first time, and we absolutely loved it! We enjoyed several beers and a few margaritas, both frozen and on the rocks. My frozen margaritas were perfectly blended and tasted so fresh. The chips and salsa were a definite favorite. The chips were light, crispy, and served hot, while the salsa had that delicious, authentic Mexican restaurant flavor. We ordered two California burritos, taquitos, a kids' burrito, and the chicken fajita lunch special. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the service was friendly and professional. We're saving this spot as one of our new favorites for our next visit. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food in Heber Springs, this restaurant is a must-try!
