A zoo thats $12.50 a person? Nice deal for the amount of animals located at the zoo…read more Compared to the Seattle zoo, this definitely had a wide variety of animals to see. What you can see here are the following: bald eagles, a hawk, vultures, zebras, rhinocerouses, alpacas, llamas, elks, deer, bison, chimpanzees, orangatans, another type of monkey i dont quite remember but they have fluffy heads, bobcats, cougars, cheetahs, turkeys, lemurs, brown bears, peacocks, ducks, chickens, an alligator, kangaroos, donkeys, camels, goats, snakes, a spider, a hamster, and turtles. There is a petting zoo (sort of) where you can feed the goats, chickens, ducks, and donkeys, but theyre caged/fenced in so you cant quite come in and give them a pet. However they like to peek a bit out of the fence/cage so you can get them to nibble a bit at your hand. Food for the animals are $0.50 for a handful. Hand sanitizer is provided throughout the zoo so if you choose to feed you can use to your liking. Only sad thing I saw was little ducklings in the middle of the eagles nest. They do have dead animals for the eagles to eat, which is understandable, but ducklings? I hated witnessing that. Still a pretty bird to see though.

I really enjoyed how close I was able to get to these animals, such as the Grizzly bear and White…read morerhino. But I was really sad on how small the enclosures were, compared to the Zoo in Asheboro, NC or Omaha, Nebraska.
