Come to find that they do not have a brick-and-mortar location but instead are 100% mobile and available 24 hrs a day. The person I spoke with told me that there is a standard service charge to come to your location (call to get current charge) which I didn't want to pay for such a small job, but he did tell me that I could meet one of the trucks at a current job site at no cost.....giddy up! The job site was not too far and the tech was given my contact information and would be expecting me. I get to the site and the tech was able to knock out the job really quick and for cheap. They can take credit cards payments on site and I was done in less than 10 minutes. I will keep their number in my contact list.

He tested my old FOB's removable metal key (the one that is hidden inside for backup access to your car if the battery on the FOB goes dead), and it wasn't even the correct one for my car (the locksmith said it was likely the wholesaler just used a FOB from some other car and programmed it to mine before selling the car at auction), so he cut me a new one for my old FOB right on the spot. Great customer service by a guy with 25+ years experience!! Highly recommend. (NOTE: when the keys for the house and mail box didn't come out to 100% to his satisfaction, he didn't charge me for them. He was pretty sure they would work... and in fact they did! Integrity, efficiency, friendly and a professional. Call this guy first and save yourself from getting scammed by other mobile locksmiths.) Came in to get my front door deadbolt lock fixed as it would not turn when the key was inserted…read more When I arrived, I was greeted by the owner Joel, and he quickly took a look and told me that he could not fix this model lock as it was discontinued and recalled. He did suggest I contact the manufacturer for a possible free replacement since it was recalled but couldn't guarantee they would fulfill as it was over ten years old. I did appreciate the advice so thanks. I call the mfg and long story short, they sent me a replacement lock for free so all I needed to do was get it rekeyed to my existing keys so back to Guaranty Lock & Safe I go. Joel greets me again and he remembers me from my last visit, and so he was able to rekey the new lock and make me some additional duplicate keys in under 15 minutes. EZ PZ. Lastly, I ask him if you could make a backup key w/a programable fob for my truck. He quotes me a price $300 dollars cheaper than the dealership so I told him I would be back soon to get that done. Overall, Joel (owner) is a really nice guy who does good work at a fair price. If you have any locksmith needs, I recommend Guaranty Lock & Safe.

First my main deadbolt lock gave up the ghost and broke. Still had 2 locks, 1 in the knob and 1 on the storm door. So started looking at replacement locks and picked out something and went to install but the hole in my door was too small. So went and got one to fit "any door" at Home Depot. It didn't fit either. Was trying to figure out if I needed a handyman to increase the hole or if the locksmith could do that. Meanwhile in the same day the other 2 locks broke.By now it's Superbowl weekend. Well I'm a military widow so decide to not bother anyone on this weekend. I can just bar the door and stay home till it's fixed. I had already looked up locksmiths and they had a great review from someone I knew. So Monday I called. He fit me in between 2 already booked calls since I couldn't lock my door. So in less than 30 minutes he was here. It was a horrible mess. I had tried, so parts of 2 different locks were in use on the door. I had misplaced some needed screws. I had new handles I wanted instead of that key in knob broken handle. Didn't phase him, he didn't complain about the mess or the mixup I gave him but sorted it all out. Drilled the holes...in fact I needed yet another correction to the jam as well. My door had shifted. Maybe that why the locks started breaking? Made that deeper and even longer screws. Installed it all and made sure I could use it smoothly. Now they were my lock and handles so not warranted by him as they shouldn't be. I still have to go program at some point but for now the keys work just great! Told me what to make sure of and look for when I set it up and to call the locks customer service if I ran into problems with that. Really just part of an afternoon and I'm good to go once again. Fantastic service, a very reasonable price and done right. I will definitely use them again for any locks I need work on. And with an almost 60 year old house I'm sure I'll need more things .
