Needing a professional locksmith to create duplicate keys that the standard Walmart key kiosk could not, I came across Priest Lock and Key. Come to find that they do not have a brick-and-mortar location but instead are 100% mobile and available 24 hrs a day. The person I spoke with told me that there is a standard service charge to come to your location (call to get current charge) which I didn't want to pay for such a small job, but he did tell me that I could meet one of the trucks at a current job site at no cost.....giddy up! The job site was not too far and the tech was given my contact information and would be expecting me. I get to the site and the tech was able to knock out the job really quick and for cheap. They can take credit cards payments on site and I was done in less than 10 minutes. I will keep their number in my contact list. read more

Called to get a quote! The guy who answered the phone was the absolute worst by asking a million questions as if I was on a witness stand. Dude, I need a locksmith, not a judge and jury! My first instinct told me not to call this place because of the business name. I should've followed my instincts. read more

I needed a spare car key fob because the old one had broken. The gentleman came out and got this accomplished quickly. He charged me the senior rate of $200. That may sound like a lot, but another company quoted a price of more than $300. I would definitely use this company again for any key issues. read more

We needed someone to create a programmable key plus the fob for my son's car. We called a couple of places, the only quotes they would give us was $250 and up. They all wanted our address before they would even give us a quote - not to find the area that we were in as I offered the zip code, but they wanted the entire address. I came across Priest Lock and Key. They asked for the zip code, took down the model and year of our vehicle, quoted a price, And gave us a time that they would be at our home. They were obviously very busy, but arrived at the state of time. Called ahead to make sure we knew they were coming. Charged us what they had quoted. And we were good to go. Professional, reliable, prompt. Very, very impressed with the way these people do business. It's nice to know there's somebody out there that isn't trying to rip you off. read more

My gun safe old school rotor turned combo would not operate any longer and I got a replacement part from mfg. Stephen ask for some pictures and have me a call back with an estimate. He was actually referred to me by another locksmith that did not specialize in gunsafes so that was definitely a plus. Stephen was able to make it out earlier than the appointment time, able to get my safe open with drilling holes, and came in under the estimated cost. Safe is working great and can not be happier to get back in my safe. I would recommend Priest Lock&Key to anyone. read more

We were in a bind when my 2 year old slammed our back door shut and broke the latch on our back door the night before hosting a backyard get together. Stephen was very responsive and got out to our house, in North SA, all the way from Floresville in a timely manner. Once he was here, he worked cleanly and efficiently. He even worked quietly to where he did not wake up the culpable toddler. I highly recommend Priest for all your locksmith needs. read more

Well each problem has a story behind it. My wife and I purchased a RV from a local dealer. The camper came with one key, we all know this is trouble, and we reluctantly we on our vacation. We were careful to not put too much pressure on the key or lose it. We made it home, finally, and was unhooking the trailer. My son put the key in one of the locks and the key broke. So, unless we call a locksmith we were stuck with having our clothes, computer, and food in the RV over the weekend. My wife called Priest Lock and Key and was given a quote which was more than reasonable. Stephen showed up on time, cut us three keys to our RV, and was great to talk with. As the locksmith society has some scammers you can rest assured that Priest Lock and Key is reputable. Why would I recommend them? They answered the phone, were friendly, showed up in a marked van, were on time, and charged the same price we were quoted. Stephen saved the day by allowing us back into our RV. Stephen took a credit card, handed us three keys, and went on to save someone else's day. read more

Fantastic service, professional, reliable and speedy. My wife locked her keys in her Ford Focus trunk...a model with no trunk release and she had no spare key. Excellent customer service. We used them for lock work in our house and they were (a) very pleasant on the phone (b) gave us a fairly accurate quote for the work (c) showed up on time (d) did all the work quickly and efficiently and (e) made sure that they cleaned up any sawdust they produced, chips or anything else and wiped down the locks and left them fingerprint free..and all this accompanied by very pleasant and information conversation. Don't know what the heck else they could have done (maybe bring me a good bbq brisket?) to make it WooHoo worthy! read more

Stephen saved my butt! I needed someone to come out to my storage unit to cut off a lock, and it was very time-sensitive because I had movers coming to move out of the unit. I called several other locksmiths, but no one could accommodate me on such short notice. I called Stephen, and he answered and told me he'd be over as soon as he was done with his current job. Stephen arrived about 20 minutes later and got down to business right away. I watched him work in my lock while talking other calls and scheduling other appointments and answering device calls. You know how sometimes you can just look at someone and just know that they know exactly like they know what they're doing? That's Stephen. Super professional, fast, and great work. He finished with my lock and was on his way in less than 30 minutes. And he charged me less than the 2 previous locksmiths had quoted me. Like I said, Stephen saved my butt. You could not do better. read more

It's 7:30 pm and our door jams-- won't open from the inside or the outside... ugh. Dog is going crazy and we search for a locksmith that can come fix it tomorrow morning. Of course, I check the yelp site to see recommendations... glad I did because we called Priest Lock & Key and they were fantastic. Not only did they offer to come that night (we didn't find it pressing so we opted to just wait until the next morning) they fit us in the next day. They came and went in 30-minutes and fixed the door, replaced the locks and informed us that the door was off center and explained how it broke in the first place. By far, quality service and very reasonable prices.... plus they were nice to our puppy, which makes all the difference in the world to us :) Very great business & will def use them in the future if we have any further issues with our house! read more
