After we were getting quotes from two guys who said our system needed replacing Lane came in to do a quote. He actually checked out the system, hosed down the fan outside, and found a part had broken. He replaced it and in less than an hour from arrival we had cool air. It's been 96-98° going into a hundred this weekend. We've got five kids and the A/C was down for a week due to the holiday and husbands work schedule. This guy is a hero here. He was polite, professional, and very easy to talk to; could have written us off a quote like the ones just before him but actually checked it all out and fixed it. Our home warranty service send Lowe's out to us one time when our system wasn't cooling. I believe it was the owner himself that came out and performed the work needed. His professionalism and overall attitude was exactly what one should expect. He diagnosed the issue, repaired it, and went a bit above and beyond to get things taken care of. asked them to come and install ducting to the outside from all of the bathroom fans since none of them were safe or correctly vented. I installed two vent fans before they arrived and was doing the the third when they arrived. While they were never asked to help me install it, they could clearly see me struggling with it and they offered to help and they sure did. They cut my workload in half and used their much better tools to facilitate the installation. I have used this service for years and it has always been great, but this time was especially excellent because they made a stressful work week so much easier on me. read more

These gents just left my house, and I couldn't be happier with their customer service, professionalism, proficiency in their craft, and speed at which they assessed the problem and fixed it. My wife and I have a 5-month old son that spent last night in a 83 degree house, and we were going to have to go to a hotel if it wasn't fixed today. The problem turned out to be a busted capacitor, which they fixed in less than an hour's time. They let me follow them around asking questions (not because I'm "that" guy, but because I would like to learn for next time), and obliged me happily. After the capacitor was fixed, they went through exactly what happened, the cause of the loss of functioning (in layman's terms too), and let me know there's nothing I could have done differently. These guys even gave me tips on what are the better filters to use. Bottom line, they crushed it. If you live in the greater San Antonio area and ever need anything related to an AC, CALL THESE GUYS. Lowes (not associated with the major retailer) was recommended to us by our handyman and we could not have been happier or more impressed by their services. As busy a time as it is for AC guys in San Antonio these days, they took the time to discuss the problem with us and make sure they had a firm grasp of the issue we were having. Though our problem turned out to be minor (a $35 capacitor) they performed a full check and did some little things (added some insulation to an exposed tube) and checked out the entire system (as I had asked them to). It seems that the main guy that came, Wendell Lowe, is one of the owners so, one would hope to get exemplary service from him, and we did. Not really sure how big of an outfit they are but if they sent out an employee with even 75% of the professionalism, competence and reassurance as him it would be one of the best experiences we've had with an AC service. He and his assistant had us completely at ease to have them in our home as they seemed completely trustworthy. This was just a minor job but they knocked it out of the park and I will absolutely go back to them the next time we need something (as if you couldn't tell). Can't think of more good stuff to say about them but if I could I would write it. read more

Wendel Lowe is honest and reputable and they back their work. We have used him for about a year and he was referred to us by a friend. He has now fixed two major issues for us on a fairly new A/C unit installed by someone else and he was able to work with the A/C company to help pay for those repairs. This company is THE BEST in the biz. I will not go to anyone else ever again. Honest. Trustworthy. Dependable. They always do what is best for the customer. My compressor went out on my unit and I had to have my entire system replaced. The Lowe's came out and had the unit replaced and up and running in no time. They take the time to answer any questions you may have and explain everything thoroughly. And seeing as I don't know much about air conditioner units I trusted their expertise advice completely. And I have never ever been let down by them. They are prompt and professional and they provide follow up visits as well to ensure that there aren't any issues that arise after installation. (And, just for the record, I have NEVER had an issue with anything that they have EVER done to my unit -- and I have been a customer for about 7 years.)
