I want to say that I am very impressed with this company's promo response, courtesy and pricing! My neighbor got locked out and went with the first place they could get a hold of, and we regret it. The other place charged us double and did not seem educated what so ever. They got the job done, but we were very unimpressed and feel like we got price gauged ! Sharon and Mark were simply awesome. I called over the weekend and Sharon immediately returned my call. I had a remotely located RV that had lock problems. They went out, were able to replace the cylinder, and rekey the lock for me. They even went the extra mile and cleaned out the corroded battery compartment, went and purchased additional batteries, and got my remote to work! The owner/operator knows what he is doing. The exterior door handles are the antique-type that are locked and unlocked with a skeleton key. He installed 2 new exterior door handle sets on older doors. I bought essentially the same version of door handles but only someone with a good knowledge of door handle installation could get them installed properly! 8/22/19: I AM NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!! Update to my previous review above which was written approximately February 1, 2019 is as follows: One of the exterior door handles started malfunctioning in August of 2019. I placed a call to American Key Service (AkS) requesting a service call. The door knobs were installed 1/29/19. Total of 7 months had passed and I felt it reasonable that (AKS) should come out to fix the problem, hopefully with no charge. AKS called me back today(8/21/19) after I placed a third call and reminded them that I was the customer who they asked to amend my original review by deleting the words "...AKS is pricey but worth the cost". The owner's wife explained that they were in the process of building their business and felt these words would not be beneficial to their efforts. I agreed to amending my comments. Fast forward to today (8/21/19) and AKS says they were not inclined to come back out and would have to charge a $75 service fee which I agreed to pay. THEN, I am informed that there would be another $75 added for labor.....WHAT??? I was advised to buy a new door and that there were no guarantees on their work. I looked at my original receipt and it has no such disclosure. If one is trying to build a business, don't you think the company would want happy customers? For the record, I AM NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER! The owner's wife, Mrs. Huff, made sure that I knew that she had been in construction with her dad for years. If that is so, she might want to stop giving out that information because she lends credence to the bias that some people in construction are not to relied upon. 8/21/2019: Mr. Huff: my doors are standard depth, solid wood doors. They are NOT old, thin doors. Pier and beam foundations have no bearing upon the fact that the door knob does not function properly. A simple remedy would have been to come to my property and correct the situation (at my cost), but you or your wife were unwilling. Try to blame and put a spin on this situation, but the truth will prevail. You state on your web page that you have been in business for 25 years. My question is, "Doing what?" Obviously not locksmithing. read more

We accidentally lost our car key while tubing all the way out in Bandera. Mark and Sharon personally drove all the way out to rescue us! They came out and cut a new key for our car in no time flat.
