Hi Ashland Glass,…read more I'm writing as a recent customer regarding my interaction with Patrick. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. During our communication, he was dismissive and made a comment implying that I didn't understand due to my gender identity, which I found inappropriate and unprofessional. It's unfortunate, as this could have been a great partnership. Based on this experience, I will not be moving forward with your company. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to more respectful communication with future clients.

This guy sold me a $350.00 item which was defective the day he installed it. When I told him about…read moreit, he gave me some off-handed, useless advice on how to fix it myself. A couple days later I called to say that it hadn't worked, and he never answered my message. A couple months later, I went back to the shop in person and was told that I should have said something earlier and there was nothing they could do. Do not give Stan's Glass your money!! **UPDATE, Jan. 29, 2007**: Ok, so I wrote the original review on Dec. 12, 2006, with one star. Since then, I went back to the store in person (two more times), and finally got someone to come out to fix the item. It was not an elegant fix, but the item now works. Interestingly enough, I got a call from the owner today asking me to print a retraction of this review, since the problem has been solved. He didn't challenge what I wrote, so obviously he recognized the situation. At first I deleted the original review, but I'm reposting it with the revision. So my revised review is: Stan's Glass can probably solve any glass problem you might have. They don't take credit cards, so you don't have any leverage if something goes wrong - you're on your own, and you'd better be persistent. If you are, they will make good. The original transaction went smoothly and in a timely manner, and if the item had not been defective, I would have been quite satisfied.

Disappointed with our experience with MC Glass after spending about $2,000 on window repairs. Most…read morefrustrating was the extensive paint damage they left on our antique windows--something we were never warned about, and they made no effort to repair. They also worked on a stuck garage window with one cracked pane (as noted during the estimate). After 30 minutes of trying to unstick it, they told me two more panes were cracked and needed replacing--without mentioning they'd already been working on it. I asked for a quote before proceeding, but they replaced them anyway. Reviewing our security footage, it's clear they likely cracked the panes during that initial 30 minutes. When I brought this up calmly with the owner, he became defensive and angry, saying he was "insulted" and didn't have time for "fighting." In the end, I offered to split the cost since I couldn't conclusively prove the damage--but overall, the lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability was disappointing. Wouldn't recommend.
