The quote process was straight forward, there was no bait and switch, everything as advertised. Hector was easy to communicate with (completely via text and email, including official quote and job acceptance process). The onsite team did a great job creating a clean jobsite with lots of plastic draping to contain dust. They made minimal wall and ceiling holes, and repaired them very well with texture matching very nicely (homeowner has to repaint the patches themselves - no big deal to me). They did extra work for me and going that my switch for the old ceiling fan was a dimmer switch was not what it should have been so they normally charge to replace it but didn't. And the new fan they installed was done quickly and replaced the switch and had to cut a small portion of the wall and ceiling but did the patching so I just need to paint since it had to dry. Very happy. Used Yelp to contact 5 electricians on Monday seeking quotes to remove ceiling fans and replace with recessed lights. Was contacted within 10 minutes by Hector with a very reasonable itemized quote. Within 1 hour of messaging, we had the plan and schedule finalized. I received a text Thursday night confirming the Friday morning appointment. The crew of 5 workers including Hector showed up on time Friday morning. Everyone was very professional and respectful. For example, they were all wearing masks and put on booties while they laid down mats to protect the floor. They politely asked before using the guest bathroom. The plan changed a bit from the initial scope but Hector was flexible. I told Hector that his business differentiation is that he does drywall patching. I had similar electrical work done 4 years ago in another part of the house and to this day cannot avoid seeing my awful drywall patchwork. The previous electrician did not do drywall repair. Hector patched and retextured the few holes that were made during the install. I only use Yelp periodically. You can see my other reviews. I have found a large number of Yelp reviews are fake so I went into this project with quite bit of apprehension. Hector and his team exceeded my expectations. We originally had hector out to fix an outlet but he very quickly discovered our problem(it was us, lol, trying to replace outlet covers and not ensuring the wire was fully connected.
