The drive contained approximately 20 years of photos and important documents. A friend in cyber security reviewed the issue and could not identify a trace of any information on the disk. When I contacted RogersPC, he explained that he is equipped for data recovery and would give his best efforts to identify the issue and recover the data at the lowest level possible so I would not have to spend the highest dollar for out of state forensic services.
