Has no customer service and has no understanding on how to talk with ANYONE. Do not recommend this Loan service whatsoever. Julie, you need to learn patience and probably some manners. The fact of you interrupting after every question you want me to answer to say your piece is NOT how you speak w a customer especially with your attitude like I wasn't supposed to speak in the first place. ALL I CAN SAY IS RUN FROM THIS COMPANY.. If you want to use them read Washington State Usury Law RCW 19.52, which dictates the max interest rates they can charge. If you don't they will get you for up to 24% on a car. If I would of known 5 yrs age I would of turned down the loan. These people are loan sharks in the worst degree. I ended with a car with an outrageous interest rate and no way to refinance it. They said when I got the loan I had no credit and that this would help with my credit. By the time it helped the loan was more then the car was worth. Then they took the car after 4 yrs and sued me and now are garnishing me every week. You know I tend see bad comments about this place, people pissed off they have a crazy high interest rate.... you're the one that have bad credit lol. This company strictly helps people with bad credit, and yes... there is a price you pay for having bad credit lol. I have been with light house for several years and have had a pretty good experience with them. Yes my interest rate sucks and yes I wish my payments were way cheaper, I damaged my credit though and was lucky enough to find a lender. The thing with this company is if you are having problems, call them and tell them. Don't wait until they start calling you, call them a head and tell them. It's called professionalism folks, that means you have to also be professional. Do not get a loan from Lighthouse, you will regret it. Like a sucker, I accepted their loan offer at 29.5% over five years. Shame on me, but they are bottom feeding loan sharks who prey on people with challenged credit. There are no grace periods and they will hound you incessantly if you are even a day late, regardless of your payment history Update 11/03/15 - Successfully terminated my contract with LAC in 2014 (traded in the vehicle). At the time, general manager Rich Boechler and I agreed upon a $6,000 payoff for the vehicle to close out my contract. A year later I found out there was a $1,000 refund on an unused extended service contract that LAC kept without notifying me, in addition to the $6,000 they were paid for the vehicle. Rich never mentioned the $1,000 refund when we agreed on the payoff, although he made up his own story about it (lesson learned - always get it in writing). He lied to me, to a judge in small claims, and would probably do just about anything to keep his pitiful job. It's disgusting how deceptive and unprofessional the people at Lighthouse are. I can't imagine how they sleep at night feeling so dirty. read more

I was appalled today at my dealings with Amanda, Pam, and Dan. I advised that due to medical issues I was going to be unable to make a payment until 8/9 (18 days late) with any applicable late fees. I was advised I should sell something, borrow the money or do anything I need to to pay them their money. I was advised on Friday that if I brought them $20 I could change the due date to 8/5, I was unable to do so and as that is now not an option, Daniel advised this was unacceptable and that we were at an impasse and that he would be advising the car should be repossessed. I know this is only my second payment on the car and that it's not convenient for them to receive a late payment, regardless of whether it's a day or 18 days late, however, I would have expected that a business that is in the business of financing cars would be a little understanding and not the rude, condescending, and belittling manner in which I was spoken to or that this was handled. I would avoid business with them at all costs!!!! If you can get financing through anyone else, and I mean anyone. Loan sharks have more compassion. I am posting this with screen shots of my texting conversation on other reviews always so that everyone can see how these 3 operate! They should not be in this business with such terrible customer service and appreciation for customer retention! read more

Lighthouse Acceptance gave me a loan when no one else would and I am super grateful. The interest rate was high but because I made my payments on time after a year and a half I was able to refinance and get the car and interest rate I REALLY wanted. Never had an issue with them but then again I did pay my bill on time. Highly recommended, lent to me after a bankruptcy when I desperately needed a car for work and was turned down everywhere else. read more

I screwed up with my loan and then had my car repossessed, called and tried to do the right thing by making arrangements on the balance after the car went to auction, and they would not work out a payment arrangement. There is never anything good I can say about this bank. The customer service or lack there of is not the only thing they lack. As we are in the middle of a Pandemic like Covid-19, I was laid off due to it. Explaining to the "customer service" agent that our payment will be late because well let's be honest, money and jobs are not happening like this greedy bank would like it to. My fiance paid half the payment and explained it would take a few days to get the rest. Well low and behold, while other companies are offering no penalties or fees due to Covid, this bank is not however. Instead, when you explain to them your situation and how come a bank is charging fees during a pandemic, there "customer service" kicks in and they make sure to tell you "well, the bank needs to survive also"!!!!!!!!!!! I could care less that a bank, who gets bailed out and has money stashed away for a rainy day, unlike the rest of us, how they need to survive. Is a bank bailout not enough for them? More money for the grubby managers and owners??? Luckily, we are working to get out of this horrid contract, and send them on their way for good. This is a company that is the only who takes on credit challenged people...if your number is low, they are your only lender. Ive read other reviews and don't get the upset? Read your contract, especially the fine print. A lender for this type of credit will not mess around. There is NO grace period. You can however sign a form to change your pay,ent date, for an additional fee after you've taken possession of. The car and made at least one payment. As to paying online, I found it easy to do". What's different, is you need to tell them you want to pay online and they'll set it up for you, and give an initial password. I pay every single month online without issue. It's your responsibility, as the buyer, to follow up on all warranties recalls etc, not your lender. If you haven't made your payment, this high risk lender will not hesitate to repossess your car. Call the, first, if you're going to be late. I have had great success with this company and appreciate that theylended to me, regardless of interest. The high interest rate, that's on the buyer. Not the lender, so don't bash them over your own credit challenges. read more

A horrible company. They are very unprofessional, talk down to you as if you're dense and have no regard to call you back to do business together. I would consider shopping around. They have. I grace period, and after paying on time for the past 3 years I am out of my loan with them thankfully. I would not suggest my worst enemy to do business with them. read more
