This was my second time ordering from them & I am pleased again w my food. I ordered the full chicken wing platter w bourbon sauce on the side, potatoes salad, Mac & cheese & yams on the side. I will say this place is like any other the food is always some type of different but good. The yams this time were out of this world, even better than last time. The fried chicken is nice & crispy. The only thing I would say is I feel the chicken needs a bit of salt. But still good. The bourbon sauce was better this time also. The Mac & cheese is good but weird in texture. Idk how to explain it. The potato salad is delicious!!! To wrap this up I will be back it's definitely not a must spot but it is good & hit the spot.

Now this might be because I grew up in the south but the greens were ok not my favorite but I would eat them again. I personally prefer them to be more cooked and soft but they have a pretty decent flavor. Now the Mac was my least favorite. It is basically noodles and pepper. Mine BARELY had cheese. It's mac & CHEESE. Where's the cheese

The place was smokey although there were only three clients seated inside, in the back, near the window. The clerk was behind a makeshift bar/enclosed area. He had a limited supply of cigars available but I had no desire to sit and indulge. I purchased one to go and left. They accept cash only and you are encouraged to BYOB which can be refrigerated if necessary. Note: I am a newbie to stogies. I was spoiled in that my first visit was to a VERY NICE establishment in Mooresville. I don't know that I will ever find one as nice.

I go to the mac machine and withdraw $ 20. The taxes came to 21.40. I didnt have the 1.40 cents and the owner got really upset and almost refused my business over the tax of 1.40. The issue is that i would have to withdraw $40 to do that. The owner expressed his anger over 1.40....smh Reason #2 : the lounge does not allow outside drinks but does allow outside food. The issue is that i bought a big mac meal with a drink....the owner actually said to me that i can eat the food but will have to leave and go outside in the cold to drink the drink that csme with it. so after driving from delaware, stopping at an atm, getting good, all to relax and do my work while enjoying a nice hookah - all went down the drain over a drink . ... jimmy, the owner, does not understand the nature of business. ... he had not one issue with turning away $20 over a drink. I'm going to check them out one day. I'm grateful I finally made "one day" happen. I received the weekly email reminder that The Larry Price Quintet was scheduled to perform. I read the bio and really liked that Larry Price had his students accompanying him. The Venue: Intimate and cozy with a fantastic sound system. The Cuisine: Asian fusion with healthy portions that are huge on flavor! What We Njoyed: Deep Fried Wonton Strips - w/sweet and spicy Asian dipping sauce. 5/5 Suyun's Famous Shrimp Fried Rice (mild and medium) the medium has jalapeño heat and it definitely has a little kick. 5/5 Jamey's Special Wild Caught Rock Shrimp Tempura w/garlic chili aioli, broccoli florets and jasmine rice. 5/5 Lemon Drop Martini and Mitchell & Mitchell Cabernet Sauvignon Everything was delicious and I'm not sure what they season their broccoli with but ummmm yummy! The Performance: Superb.... Standing ovation!! As Jamey mentioned when he introduced Larry Price, "He's been around the world more times than Santa Claus"! Mr. Price certainly has Santa Claus energy and magic on the saxophone. He has to be an extraordinary educator as well since the 4 young men that made up the whole of the quintet sounded as if they have been playing for decades. I wish all of them much success in their future endeavors! The Staff: We were greeted by Jamey when we walked in. The gentleman working the bar, the lovely waitress that single handedly worked the entire venue and the Chef's were all delightful and a major part of why I'll return. If you enjoy live music, great food, great people and a cozy lounge atmosphere, treat yourself to a show at Jamey's House of Music. I suppose a restaurant almost has a disadvantage when one has heard endlessly about how fantastic…read moreit is, thus setting one's expectations quite high when making one's reservation. A friend and I came by for a quiet supper to catch up and hopefully have an enjoyable dining experience. To start off, the Caesar salad and focaccia were indeed quite tasty. After being talked into trying the tasting menu, I was disheartened upon taking my first bite of the chicken Parmigiana and accompanying pasta. Both seemed as if they had been sitting for a while and then were unevenly reheated. The pasta, in particular, was lackluster and worse than anything I might have hurriedly boiled at eleven at night upon arriving home after a long trip and finding only packaged pasta and canned tomato sauce in the cupboard. But I could have lived with all of this had it not been for the service. Clearly my friend and I were the afterthought of all afterthoughts to our disinterested waitress. After hounding us to order before we had properly reviewed the menu, she promptly put us on the pay-no-mind list, as dirty dish after dirty dish accumulated at the table from the tasting menu she had so strongly urged me to try. I also abhor cheapness on the part of restaurants. Would it have killed Rosemary to offer us a second piece of focaccia, given that there were two of us and the portion was a better fit for just one? Lest anyone accuse me of having expected the waitstaff to read my mind, I indeed asked. It's not like we weren't spending a pretty penny there. The business could have well afforded to allow each of us a reasonable portion of its much-touted starter. After we finally managed to flag down our waitress amid the plethora of dirty dishes still sporting some of the mediocre food, I paid in cash on account of the restaurant informing me on the bill that a surcharge would be applied to a credit card transaction. Another joy! When the waitress took the note, she said, "Thank you," and that was that. I decided against calling after her to request change since it was one of those borderline instances where the note was close enough to twenty percent that it is a bit awkward to request someone return with change. So she walked off with a 26% or so tip after having left us on the dining equivalent of "read" the entire night. And then there's the issue of price: While not outrageous, everything is 15-20% more expensive than it should be, and after one pauses to think about it, the tasting menu offers barely any deal at all. If one orders the chicken like I did, it is no cheaper than ordering the starter, entrée, and dessert à la carte. If Rosemary had also offered, say, a soup, then it would be a deal. But clearly generosity is not in its owner's purview. The tiramisu, I will say, was excellent, and my friend and I enjoyed every morsel, and for that reason, along with the Caesar salad, I can muster three stars. Had I not walked through the door having heard so many people rave about Rosemary, perhaps I would have found it to be a restaurant with a pleasant ambiance, a good appetizer, and fine dessert despite a thoroughly middling entrée. But a Delco gem it is not.

Fortunately, I was served a different dish after I demonstrated I couldn't cut into the short rib with the knife I was given. As for the rest of the experience, the service was nice if a little difficult to grab, it's quite noisy inside, and the drinks were meh. There are too many other good restaurants to come back here.

The string beans, Mac and wings were good I paid $42.00 for the platter 2 wings a side of sweets and 2 drinks. My money went a long way here. I really enjoyed the food. This is a must try !!! I do wish the bartenders had more authority to stop serving patrons. They had at least three glasses each on their table and got two more while I was there. They ordered a massive amount of food, didn't eat it, and then shifted two tables down and ordered more food. When the servers came by to clear their initial table, the couple laughed and said Oh yeah - the people who were here didn't like that that much. So not so much a commentary on the lounge itself, which is very nice and probably one of the better lounges that I have been in, but to the quality of some of the patrons that you might encounter, should you choose to spend some time here.
