This place is beyond cool! There are different rooms to experience, and each one is truly unique. I think I speak for us both when I say the one with the string lights was the most entertaining visually. The light show lasted about 15 minutes total from beginning to end. When you first walk in through the mall entrance, you'll end up at the bar area. Alex was so nice and very engaging. She answered our questions and whatever you order at the bar, you can bring it with you so don't feel confined to the bar area as you finish your drink! I got the School Rules (mocktail) and bestie got the Mango Colada. They were so good, I finished mine pretty quickly! One of the other exhibits that I enJOYed was the coin flipping one. Whoever thought of all this is amazing to say the least! The face display made out of different sized balls on strings was so cool to see, especially when you walked up to it and to the side of it. We don't have membership, but the older gentleman sitting near the bar informed us that if you pay the $99 fee, you can come as many times as you like and you'll get 20% off any merchandise. He was really informative and we appreciated that he wasn't trying to push it on us. I believe you can also bring a guest for a discounted fee. Some of the exhibits were not as entertaining as others, and I do wish there was more to see, but they do switch it up every couple of months so that would definitely be worth the membership. Don't forget to get your selfies in front of the huge mirror near the bar! I highly recommend coming here if you have out of town guests, or if you've just never been. The bonus is that it's located inside the Fashion Square Mall in Scottsdale (same floor as the food court under the escalators), so you can have something to eat or walk around before or after Wonderspaces! It would be a cute date idea, too. I just may buy into the membership because the best part about it is that it does NOT automatically renew. So, if you don't like it, you won't have to worry about your account being charged. Good idea! Check out Wonderspaces Arizona and have so much fun!

I had never been to Desert Botanical Garden despite living in the area for nearly five years, so I was quick to agree to tag along! We visited on an evening that was also dog night, so in addition to seeing the beautiful botanicals, we got to see lots of happy pups. Though my dog was not with us, I appreciated how they had lots of doggy bags, water bowls, and water stations at the ready for the dog owners. The exhibit was beautiful, seeing the lights intertwined with the plants and the cacti. This was truly breathtaking. I will definitely add Desert Botanical Garden to my list of places to take friends and family who visit me out west.

We visited this club Saturday, June 16th…read more I called ahead; asking about packages & hours the club gets busy. They answered all my questions and mentioned there was free entry with passes on their website. Most clubs are in rather seedy areas - but Sugar 44 almost looks out of place nestled between a McDonalds and a Wells Fargo. This is a very small club; and the free parking is commensurate with that. We arrived at about 8:30, and parking was available; but when we left a couple hours later, it was a bit difficult to get out. We felt safe despite the poor lighting. The club entrance is on the side, under an awning. This is a walk-in, seat yourself scenario; there are no hosts or people to bring you in. As you go in, the bar will be in front of you with a few TVs above showing sporting events. The bar appears to have seating for about 12 people. To the right of the entrance is the curtained VIP dance area. The DJ is visible to the side of the bar and the main floor continues on to the left. The floor is a bit crowded due to the small size and amount of furniture. We estimated about 12 tables flanking the small stage; which itself had seating for maybe 10 patrons. There is a single small stage at Sugar 44 with a single pole; enough room for a single dancer to do a good show without having to cover a lot of ground. The music was reasonably diverse & we appreciate diversity in all things; including dancers and music. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. We enjoy meeting and getting to know the staff at the clubs. Our server, Savannah I believe, showed up right away. We liked her. She took good care of us. Soda was $5, drinks $9-10. They didn't offer any sort of "date night" packages or small group offerings so we just ran a tab. They do have bottle service for large groups, though. The drink quality overall seemed ok. We like a real diversity in club talent; variations of styles, body shapes and sizes -- we really enjoy getting to talk to them and get a sense of their personalities. There was a pretty small pool of dancers when we arrived (understandable - we were early). Better by the time we left. Overall, we found the diversity and "quality" of dancers overall to be "fair". Most ethnicities were represented and there was a good range of body types; large and small breasts, short and tall ... what we didn't see were more to the extreme sides; the "beach blondes" nor "pierced tattooed bad ass brunettes" The Gal loves so much. The "girl next door" was missing too. We love great pole work and Sugar 44 is above average. Several dancers were extremely energetic and performed very well. The dancers as a whole were "6s" and "7s" with a few exceptions. The club is low pressure for us as a couple. We were only approached once and she was friendly. We bought her a drink and chatted her up. I wouldn't call it "couples friendly" - regulars got a lot of attention. Not recommended for first-time couples. No VIP this visit, but we did get information to share with you. VIP requires a $20 "wrist band". These grant you access to VIP areas. The dancers will then give you private VIP for $25/song. The songs do not seem "unnaturally shortened" here. There are also "Champagne Rooms". One VIP area has a large privacy curtain and appears to be able to service 8-10 guests; each have a very small divider between them. I am not sure it would be comfortable for couples in there. I'm hoping the area behind the DJ offers something more couple friendly. There are table/floor dances available at $10. We'll update this review when we actually get VIP time. The club is ok for couples; perhaps with repeat visits we'll get more attention like the "regulars" seemed to get. We were treated well by staff and talent. We will most likely be back.

There's a spot for photos at the bottom of the elevators. That was cute! Then the elevator opens up right in front of the bar and hostess stand. We checked in and were seated pretty quickly. All seating was out in the patio area and it was filled up if I remember correctly. There may have been a few open tables. We ordered 1 drink each and then went to the next spot. The cocktails come in a Christmas themed mug. One friend ordered a beer so that just came in a normal cup. My other friend ordered a tequila sprite but they put that in a mug. I believe I ordered Jingle Balls Nog. I can't remember if I liked it or not though. There are a few more spots for photo ops here but it's a small space overall. Smaller than I thought it would be. They had some Christmas lights up and some other decor but it wasn't anything crazy. The first thing we all noticed as soon as we were seated was that it was wayyy too bright! Not from the Christmas lights but from the normal lighting around the place. It would give off a better vibe if it wasn't so bright.
