They've moved locations since then, and I will absolutely go out of my way to visit this magical little shop. This place is a treasure trove of metaphysical goodness, crystals, insence, candles, oracle cards, books, soaps, lotions, oils, sprays, you name it, they've got it (and if they don't, I trust they'll know where to send you). Their apothecary line is one of my favorites, I'm obsessed with the "Bug Off" spray during the season, and their "Cleanse & Protect," "Love," and "Luck" sprays and oils are staples in my spiritual toolkit. Fantasia Crystals is family-run, and the energy here reflects that every interaction I've had has been warm, kind, and helpful. Whether you're deep in your practice or just beginning your journey, this shop truly has something for everyone. Always five stars. Always a fan.

I have a long history with Vision Quest Metaphysical Bookstore. Maybe since 1997. I wrote a Yelp…read morereview for this store years ago but maybe 40% of my older reviews just disappeared from Yelp. I used to go to this bookstore when they were in Scottsdale on Thomas Road and Oak Streets. I make and sell metaphysical jewelry that I design mostly necklaces from semi-precious stones for healing and well-being. I used to consign my jewelry at the Scottsdale store and everything sold within 3 months. It was so easy I just bring it there and then pick up my check later. But when Vision Quest moved to the Phoenix location, the clientele there was vastly different from Scottsdale and it's tourists, and Phoenecians didn't want to buy my jewelry at the $60 prices for necklaces that the store sold them for. Owner Apryl told me Phoenician customers bought candles and incense and got readings. So April didn't let me consign jewelry anymore as it would stay in the store unsold for a year. But I go to the Phoenix store now and get regular readings by psychic reader Toney He's very good and accurate in business matters. Sometimes I talk to him almost every week or two times a week. My life is very in need of direction right now I'm making big financial ventures which Toney advises me on. Apryl is a good reader too but the staff tells me she's not doing readings for store customers now.

Vision Quest was my gateway drug into all things WooWoo. Back when it was on Scottsdale Road, I…read morewandered in and basically fell headfirst into crystals, incense, and candles like some kind of spiritual Alice in Wonderland. It was my first real intro to this world, and honestly, it launched me into the practices that are now just... my life. So yes, Vision Quest and I go way back. Then, like any long-term relationship, the shine wore off. I started hearing whispers in school about them not clearing the space, and once I noticed it myself, the vibe felt a little off. Combine that with discovering other shops that had better prices and fresh energy? Yeah, I strayed. Cut to tonight: my go-to WooWoo dealer (aka my favorite candle spot) was CLOSED. Dire situation. My altar was looking at me like, "You really gonna let me go dark?" So, I dragged myself over to Vision Quest. And you know what? The whole vibe felt different... lighter, fresher, like someone saged the place within an inch of its life. I actually caught myself thinking, "Wait, why did I stop coming here again?" Candles acquired. Yes, they were a whopping 50¢ instead of my usual 30¢ (so, call me thrifty), and the wax felt like it came from a slightly less fancy bee or paraffin farm. But in an emergency? Totally did the job. And so, Vision Quest is like that ex you bump into years later and think, "Huh... maybe they got their act together." I may not be back every week, but I'm definitely glad it's still around when the WooWoo emergencies hit.

Yelp reviews are generally easy to write. You like something or you dislike something and... you…read moregive your reasons. When I started to write something (I won't call it a review) for Josefa, I wasn't ready. I wanted what I wrote to mean something and to reflect how I feel about the affect she's had on my life. So, I'll take a shot now, but I'm still not sure I can do her justice. Josefa is a truly gifted person. She not only had an almost immediate understanding of the person I was, but also a tremendous insight into 'why I was' and how I could be the person I wanted to be. It's interesting because I had visited a counselor on and off over many years, whom I thought was good. However, in just two coaching sessions with Josefa, I discovered things about myself that I had neither thought of nor discussed, previously. Over the course of working with Josefa for a few months, she helped me to better understand myself, which led to quite a change in the way I feel about myself and how I interact with the world around me. From session to session, she always was on top of what we had previously discussed and was familiar with issues that were currently affecting my life. And, she was always on point with suggestions on how to best handle situations. Furthermore, the suggestions were ones that I could carry forward with me to future issues. Does everything work out for me now exactly like I want it to... of course not. But, I can certainly handle things much better now than I previously could. It may sound like I was a basket-case prior to working with Josefa. I don't think that's the 'case', but I certainly had issues. I imagine I still do. But, now I have much more of an inner calm about myself and confidence in myself that I never had previously. Thank you, Josefa. You have made a tremendous difference in my life.

I've done several energy healings not only with myself but with my two boys as well. I also just gave birth to my 3rd child who I did open adoption with and she did a reading with myself, the adoptive couple I chose, and baby girl. It was absolutely amazing and the adoptive couple I chose loved it so much as well. It was very eye-opening and so wonderful to hear how she brings us all together. I'm still having a hard time adjusting to this and I am grateful for the relationship I have with the couple I chose but I have my days where I miss her so much and I am crying off and on. I decided to see Julia today for a DNA energy healing, I DEFINITELY recommend this if you're dealing with negative thought patterns and you're just wondering why you can't break it. She shared with me a past life I lived where I lived a hard time and I brought that sorrow in with me in this current life and how going through this OA and grieving over my daughter activated it. She helped me release that negative energy and after she was done, I felt so much better. I felt lighter and happier like something literally was lifted from me. I didn't realize just how heavy I was feeling till after the session. I also bought the book she wrote, Understanding the Psychic Experience, I love reading it. Julia is absolutely wonderful, I feel so comfortable when I talk to her, and I'm always so fascinated about what she does and has no problem answering any of my questions. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting Julia!! You'll love her dog too, she is so SWEET!! :)
