The location can be a bit confusing to find if you are unfamiliar with the area, as its located in the back of the Tannery Row building (but the GPS brings you to the front). Thankfully, when texting with the studio regarding my appointment, they informed me that they are located in the back and this made things easier. I signed up for the introductory Private Pilates Package which allows me 5 Private Pilates sessions for $200. I have never taken a Pilates class in my life, so I was a bit nervous and intimidated. My instructor, Josee, was very warm, welcoming and explained everything we were doing in detail. The studio itself is really nice as well. It is spacious, open and has several different rooms for the various classes. They offer Yoga (aerial, prenatal, etc), Kettlebell, Pilates and more. I love the ease of being able to book classes online or through the app. I'm excited for my next class!

They offer quite a variety of classes and have the most up-to-date, nicest equipment including full cadillac reformers. Sign up for a jump board (cardio Pilates), Pilates aligned, Core-Align, Pilates chair, or a mat class. Highly recommend all of them! The instructors here are so knowledgeable and really help push you to your fullest potential. They also offer private sessions if you are new to Pilates or looking to have a solo session so you and your body are the main focus. Equipment always feels super clean and well taken care of, and I always walk out feeling lighter and super stretched out. Check them out asap!

So, I purchased their 3-class drop-in package and took a class that required no experience, called chaircrobatics, which was "how to do tricks on a chair". IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!! I decided to sign up for their 4-week "intro to pole" class series, where each week you are taught basics and each week builds upon the previous week's work. By the last class, you have about 3-4 minutes of choreography and some basic skills on the pole, and you'll feel like a BAD@$$ with a nice @$$. I then finished out my 3-class drop in package last week, and I'm signing up for more classes this week! Definitely worth giving it a shot!

I haven't taken a hot yoga class in probably 20 years, so personally I was not prepared for how difficult the class would be. Didn't matter though, the instructor was so great and reassured me that there's no pressure to perform it all, and to listen to what my body is telling me. So I did. I took it easier than the regulars, but still left the class feeling amazing! This class may be tough for beginners, but everyone from the teachers to the students and even the owners are so supportive, you instantly feel comfortable. The students are so friendly, they even gave me pointers on classes I should join. I must add, I was even more excited to support them as a black owned business. Both husband and wife were there to greet everyone that walked in, knew their patrons names, & even took the time before class to give me a tour of their facility. They have mats available for those that don't have their own yet or forgot them at home. They have multiple restrooms and also a shower room, one for women and one for men. They even let you know about upcoming events and classes that can benefit you personally! It's always intimidating trying to get into a new fitness routine, but they certainly make you feel at home & like part of their tribe. I'm excited to try out some of their other classes to get a feel for what I like best. If you get a chance to check them out, I definitely recommend taking a class to see how great your body feels after!

Highly recommend Equilibrium!! Truly a life changing studio!…read more Paola is the most passionate person I have ever met and cares so much about the success of her students inside and outside of the studio. She is highly trained and holds multiple high level certifications through BASI for Pilates, but also has a background involving physical therapy. The combination of both makes her knowledge and ability to instruct any type of person/body, no matter their fitness level/background, unmatched. I started at Equilibrium in January 2025 at 6 months post-partum and the last fitness activity being in my high school days over 10 years ago. I appreciate her slow, focused approach to getting you started, as you'll always start with several one-on-one private classes to prepare you before you move into groups. I felt so much more confident in the group setting because of this! Group reformer & tower classes typically have 3 students, with an absolute max of 4. I also love this because she can still pay very close attention to all students in the class and provide individual corrections as needed. Paola is amazing, but she also has the highest of high standards for her facility and any staff. I know from experience that any of the other instructors on staff are highly trained and follow the same methods and teaching styles as Paola, so you really cannot go wrong with taking classes with anyone at Equilibrium.
