As soon as you enter, there are cubicles to tuck away your items and lots of merchandise on display. Don't forget to bring your sticky socks! If not they always have some for purchase. You'll head to the back to get your equipment (weights, bangles, platform, balls, etc). For the Pure Empower class, we used weights, bangles, and a platform. Jaime was our instructor and kept it super fun with Pitbull as our morning anthem. I love that Jaime incorporates lots of stretching along with lots of tough moves! She assists you on your form and that is ALWAYS appreciated. At each Pure Barre location, I always buy 1 pair of sticky socks as a treat for my workout! Fun way to start your day!

I signed up for pure barre as part of one pass and visit this studio since it's the closest. There…read moreis plenty of parking in the front of the studio and it's located near the Fresh Market. There's a cubby to store your belongings and shoes before heading inside the studio. So far I've taken the classic with Courtney and the define class with Lori. The classic class is a more traditional barre class focusing on those movements while the define class focuses more on building strength and uses dumbbells. Both instructors are great since they make sure your form is correct and spend time demonstrating the exercises. I've taken barre before at Lifetime, but I've really been liking the formats here much more. If you are new, make sure to stick closer to the front so you can see yourself in the mirror. Also, don't forget to bring your water bottle, towel and grippy socks!

I appreciated the individual attention, direction, and options for modifications that she gave to not just the in-studio students but those livestreaming. She made the class as fun (good music!) as it was challenging. The pace was also exactly right - some studios I go to up North rush through moves but even in the express class, every move had a purpose and there was just the right amount of water and stretch moments. Facilities are clean, spacious, and welcoming. There are lockers and changing room etc., and cute swag for purchase too. Highly recommend if you live in area or are passing through.
