I suffer from an autoimmune disease and deal with chronic inflammation. While I take meds and have regular appointments with a rheumatologist, yoga is the only thing that truly makes me feel better, so I was desperate to find a new home studio. Once everything started opening up, I tried various other studios, but none of them felt right. They all seemed focused on what I call "trendy yoga" . But then I found Breathe. I started following them on Instagram to get a feeling about their practice. Finally I took the plunge and signed up for the new student package. After 3 weeks, I became a full member. The Breathe staff passionately believes that we are students of our bodies, and that mantra shines through in every class. I feel like I've found my practice again.... And that feeling is terrific.

It's the first studio I've ever visited where the instructors make an effort to remember your name the very first time you show up to one of their classes. You can tell they are all passionate about what they do and there is a sense of community with the students. If you're on the fence at all just try the unlimited 3 week pass or even just a drop in. I've barely finished my initial 3 weeks and am already planning on signing up for a monthly membership.

Furthermore, any prepaid credit for classes that go unused due to space limitations will disappear after your next payment date. Even though I have been a loyal customer for three years and have never missed a reserved class, they have refused to resolve this issue. I'm tired of this constant battle and cancelled my membership. Despite all scheduling issues, the staff and Pilates teachers are great, no complaints.

He's super personable and has really great energy - everyone loves working out with him! It's a semi-private studio environment so you don't have to worry about being judged! The space is always clean and well-stocked with snacks, towels, water, etc. Their use of technology is also great - you receive a heart rate monitor, you can see your schedule on an app, you get scanned periodically on the Styku to see your progress, and you can even text your trainers! As you continue to go, you learn the moves and if your flailing someone will quickly be at your side. The music is loud, but I find music really helps in a harder workout. I'm 69 years old, and it's not bothering me. The calorie burn is real, on average about 380 per 45 minutes. Even after over a year, I still get sore!! I highly recommend!!

It gave high school boys locker room during PE instead of $35 a class pilates. I was left extremely confused after every change, unsure if I was performing the movements correctly, and genuinely in pain. I didn't feel like I was exercising, I felt like I was completely focused on not falling over and trying to figure out what she was saying. I genuinely believe the instructor did her job perfectly fine, but the class style itself was the opposite of what I was prepared for. Do NOT book this if you are used to normal pilates and are hoping to experience that style of class. It was so overwhelming between the confusion, lights off, blaring the most dogsh!t music, the weirdly fast pace of the class, and the lack of direction.

Also - they do get quite busy around 6pm-8pm on Monday-Thursday. Bottom-Line: This is a nice gym with all the things you're going to need to work out. The price is fair. Not sure why people wouldn't give it 5 stars unless they 1) have unrealistic expectations 2) are a snowflake or 3) didn't read their contract when they joined. Solid gym - Can't go wrong.
