This is a diagnostic lab which is very small doesn't fit too many people easily so is always…read morecrowded Always short staffed The care quality is good Infact extremely healpful employees but there are 2 to 3 employees only with about 20 to 30 ppl waiting and 6 to 7 chairs for seating People with appointments are waiting way past their appointment time The employees have to shuttle between their work and check in counter People without appointments take around 2 hours or more for their turn On the positive side after your tests are done you can view your results the next day no other lab shares your results Inspite of me waiting endlessly after fixing an appointment and waiting I still want to get my blood works and other tests done from here as it's important for me to be able to view my reports Wish the management would work on their staffing and have more ppl for a better customer experience

The lab technicians do not update them real time. It might 7 mins wait , 15 mins later of your check in , it will still be 7mins or might go back to 10 mins. and for another 30 mins you will still be waiting for your turn. First, reflect the true wait times and appointments wait, do not fool the customer. Either have a tool and respect it or don't use the tool if you are can't work according to the tool rules. It is just fooling the customer, attracting them based on false wait times and not respecting to what you are promising.

It's inside the Shoppers Drug Mart therefore not as big as other locations, since I'm not familiar with its setting, I hesitated a bit when I get there, but the front reception kept asking me to wait that it won't be long ... However, the nurse who took my blood test poked into my vein so painfully, that my arm got bruised even after a few days later. Don't know what went wrong, I thought Dynacare is a big company and their staff should be well-trained and proficient, very disappointed with the service provided

NOTE: The entrance to this lab is gained inside the Shoppers Drug Mart (at the rear of the store just left of the pharmacy department). I had the paperwork from my Doctor along with my health card ready for the person at the service counter. Some services are not covered by OHIP and you'll have to pay upfront out of pocket. There's seating for about 20 people. The TV monitor on the wall displays the wait times before you're seen by a lab technician. Staff were polite and efficient. I was in/out in 30 minutes.
