A great 3 hour bus tour of the city with opportunities to get out and take photos or use the…read morewashroom. We were walking and running late. Jennifer called us and asked where we were and vectored the bus to pick us up along the way. Above and beyond customer service. Jennifer provided great narrative as we made ourselves around the city. This is more than a short downtown tour. We even got to go to the Olympics area west of town and have fabulous views of the Rocky Mountains. We learned about the history of Calgary and even visited the Heritage Park area. Enough time to grab coffee and Saskatoon berry ice cream. It was Stampede and we stopped at an overlook where we could see the whole grounds.

I doubt they'd be able to tell you. But if you were of the small section paced your alcohol intake like a champ and could still shred the epic gnar at Kicking Horse, you'd tell people that you had a most epic time. The general feel for a lot of the tour seemed sort of like a party trip, with snowboarding involved, but it doesn't have to feel that way if you don't want it to. Taking a trip with Most Epic is fun, but it's also a pretty decently cost effective way to go for a weekend snowboarding trip. 2 days at Kicking Horse, 2 nights in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom and full kitchen ski in/ski out stay at the Palliser and a licensed bus right there and back for $440? Sign me up! The lift passes for the trip work out to be $50/day, as opposed to $90/day at the hill, you're already saving a tonne of money. While the party level of your bus will be completely dependent on the people on it, whenever I've gone on these full package tours, the kind of people who are attracted to it often seem to be there for the liquor. It's almost like a challenge to get blackout drunk by the time you reach the destination.

While we took the tour in March when it was really cold, it was still a lot of fun. We did the e-bike option. It wasn't necessary but it was a nice add on that we appreciated since we had spent the day before exploring and hiking around the Banff area. We'd definitely go on one of their tours again.

He was very informative throughout the trip and took us to great locations for photo opportunities. Our next tour guide the following day was Bev. She kept us entertained during our trip to Drumheller and the Badlands. She was even kind enough to provide us Tim Horton's muffins and had plenty of water to provide on a hot day. For one, it's expensive - over $300 for the both of us. We've never paid that much for a food tour so we had high hopes. The content was okay and the portions were big but the food honestly wasn't amazing. Plus, we had one gal in our group that had multiple allergies and they didn't plan it correctly so instead of catering one plate to her allergies, they had one plate alcohol free, one plate meat free, etc - and instead of taking back the extras and fixing it for everyone else, they just handed out her allergy plate. For example, there was one steak with a fermented beet sauce and fermented blackberry and since I was sitting next to her, they gave me the plate without either because it was made to be "alcohol free". To pay $150+ for this tour and not get what you paid for was a little disappointing. It was fine, just nothing special. I think a walking tour in downtown Banff would probably make more sense!

I didn't know what to expect, or better yet, I wasn't expecting much. And what a surprise, it was AMAZING! Karen, the owner was so friendly and knowledgable. The ladies attending the tour were very welcoming, the bus was comfortable and the tour was great. Who knew that cookies were so enticing. We visited 5 different locations, all incredible. The samples were generous and each location provided for enough treats to gain a few pounds, LOL! It started at Calgary's Farmers Market WEST with a delicious orange ginger juice, coffee, berries and the best hamburguer ever. There we visited the chocolatier and Yum Bakery, omg, the chocolate and the cookies were amazing, then we visited Mercato, Metro Vino, Crave and others that I forgot the name. It was fun, informative, delicious, very well organized, great hosts. Learnt a lot about the amazing food happening in Calgary, so super highly recommended!!

I recommend adding all the additional activities so that you can make wonderful memories with your friends or family. One of the noteworthy landmarks to visit while in Calgary. While its simply a Tower building…read moredowntown, it presents an amazing view of Calgary. You are able to view the tall skyscrapers, the high peaks of the mountains and also some lakes. The observation deck with its clear glass presents an intimidating view of how high you really are. While simple in nature, it is still worth visiting if you are in the city.
