Murray was our guide and he was fantastic! You see photos of Banff and the four lakes and think nah, it can't be that beautiful. It truly is!!!! The van is comfortable and pickup is easy. No eating in the van but you can have drinks. There are plenty of bathroom breaks on the way.

We did the Eat the Castle tour at the Fairmont back in August and it was an okay experience. We do…read morefood tours everywhere we go and honestly, wouldn't rate this one super high. For one, it's expensive - over $300 for the both of us. We've never paid that much for a food tour so we had high hopes. The content was okay and the portions were big but the food honestly wasn't amazing. Plus, we had one gal in our group that had multiple allergies and they didn't plan it correctly so instead of catering one plate to her allergies, they had one plate alcohol free, one plate meat free, etc - and instead of taking back the extras and fixing it for everyone else, they just handed out her allergy plate. For example, there was one steak with a fermented beet sauce and fermented blackberry and since I was sitting next to her, they gave me the plate without either because it was made to be "alcohol free". To pay $150+ for this tour and not get what you paid for was a little disappointing. It was fine, just nothing special. I think a walking tour in downtown Banff would probably make more sense!

I didn't know what to expect, or better yet, I wasn't expecting much. And what a surprise, it was AMAZING! Karen, the owner was so friendly and knowledgable. The ladies attending the tour were very welcoming, the bus was comfortable and the tour was great. Who knew that cookies were so enticing. We visited 5 different locations, all incredible. The samples were generous and each location provided for enough treats to gain a few pounds, LOL! It started at Calgary's Farmers Market WEST with a delicious orange ginger juice, coffee, berries and the best hamburguer ever. There we visited the chocolatier and Yum Bakery, omg, the chocolate and the cookies were amazing, then we visited Mercato, Metro Vino, Crave and others that I forgot the name. It was fun, informative, delicious, very well organized, great hosts. Learnt a lot about the amazing food happening in Calgary, so super highly recommended!!

Reworks Upcycle Shop is like a DIY Pinterest board in the form of a real local business... except…read morethe products are actually amazing quality because professionals made them and not me! And if we wanna talk local, more than half their products are made in Canada and 99% from North America. We're talking indestructible messenger bags made out of used seat belts that go as far as to tell you what kind of car they were salvaged from. I stumbled across Reworks without a clue what to expect, wound up doing a good chunk of my Christmas shopping here, and will be back to do a tonne more! Here's what I found: - Purses made from pop can tabs creating a high quality aluminum chainmaille. ( I bought 2 of 'em) - Bottle openers from used bicycle chains. (I hope someone buys me one ;) ) - Bowls from used bike chains...actually, there's a lot of bicycle culture reflected in this store, which I think makes it all the more cool. The owner is a true bicycle fan and her store takes my lifelong love of bikes and brings it into the rest of my lifestyle with style. Used license plate clutches, bike tire belts, wine and beer bottle serving trays, chandeliers and everything. I imagine the product selection at Reworks changes often to keep reclaimed fresh, but even if all the awesome things I've mentioned no longer exist by the time you read my review, you'll still be able to expect high quality and unbelievably creative local products here. If you've ever uttered the term "shabby chic" you need to check this place out.

Huge shout-out to Brent: thank you for treating us like adults who can make our own choices, without trying to instill fear or hesitation. In many tours, choices are often "suggested" based on perceived ability, but you allowed us to embrace each challenge as it came. The whole experience was educational, fun, and lighthearted--truly unforgettable. I can't recommend this experience enough. I discovered so much about my own limits, all thanks to the supportive, carefree atmosphere you created for our group. The knowledge you shared was invaluable, and your demeanor was perfect. I felt challenged in a way that pushed me to grow without ever feeling afraid. This speaks volumes about the quality of the tour and the guidance you provided. Thank you for an experience we'll never forget--one we'll be talking about for years to come!

We were lucky that our group was just four people; I can imagine it would not be as enjoyable in full season with multiple groups of eight (the maximum size) in the cave. I was surprised they run the tours year-round, as the hike to the cave must be a little challenging with snow and ice on the ground. Although they provide all the equipment: knee pads, crampons etc. And believe me, you will need all of it! My upper body was sore the following day; you certainly want to be in good shape to tackle this advendure! You also need your own car to drive first to the office, and then to the start of the hike. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and I am glad I did this tour. An experience I won't forget!

Travis and Sabrina were our Pedal Pub staff members and they made our trip extremely memorable! Their energy was exactly what we needed for 12 girls, and so many of us keep talking about it being one of the best parts of the trip! They were very clear and communicative of the process to make things safe, but still were able to keep things lively and fun! We stopped at 2 bars, and during our transit we played games that kept us entertained and laughing the entire ride. We also got offered a ski suit package which was the same price as our private tour, so we opted to wear them. It helped a lot since it was still fairly cold in early March, and I thought they looked so cute too! I would highly recommend booking a Pedal Pub if you're visiting Calgary, and hope you get Travis and Sabrina because they were amazing!!!!

It was so much fun that it was one of the biggest highlights of our group's weekend spent in Calgary! As Californians, we are not used to the cold so it was a nice surprise that they provided colorful and vibrant jumpsuit ski suits. They kept us warm, looked cute for pictures, and attracted attention on the streets and in the 2 bars that we stopped in! It was about a 2 hour experience with those bar stops. Sabrina and Travis explained the rules clearly, kept us safe in the streets, while providing outstanding entertainment. We learned that our group was the first to book for the season, and thankfully, it was nice and sunny out. On the pedal pub, they served canned seltzers, beers, and water. It looks like the pedal pub can fit about 14-15 people. Just a heads up that people do actually have to pedal to get the vehicle moving, except for about 4-5 seats that don't have pedals. So make sure to wear comfortable clothing and shoes! I highly recommend this company!
