INTRO: I have been at lifetime for about 3-4 months and every time I come has been a great experience. I love that if I forget to bring my membership card, I can use the lifetime app to check in! the staff is very friendly and the entire place is so clean and new. FACILITIES/AMENITIES: I was shocked that even the locker room was super nice and the hot tub and saunas inside are my favorite (yes I said hot tub and sauna in the locker room lol) the workout equipment is on the second floor along with the machines and yoga/dance studios. the equipment is very well kept and there are always trainers walking around making sure everything is good or they are helping someone work out. I like the simplicity of the layout as everything is categorized. the funny thing to me at first was the ridiculous amount of flat screen TVs that are posted on the walls but I learned to get used to it since they play the cooking channel and HGTV (,: I have been to a yoga session and it was honestly so nice to relax. the instructor was very good at keeping the whole class relaxed and focused on the stretches and would help out if needed. I will also mention that the tennis courts.. holy moly. yes. a tennis player's absolute dream. 10 courts!! and blue/green courts at that. (fellow tennis players will understand) I hit with coach collete for a diagnosis and it was so nice!! I was running around like crazy when she was feeding balls but I miss playing tennis so much it wasn't a problem. I could also come to the courts whenever I want (if not busy I don't have to reserve a court) and it's so relaxing to be able to hit whenever I like. OVERALL: I really like being a member at lifetime, I just wish I was able to utilize the facilities more to my liking. it's hard to make time to workout sometimes since life doesn't stop but, if I had time and the money to keep my membership going, I would definitely stay. I only have a few days left of my membership but don't let me stop you from joining! such a great experience and amenities that whenever I can, i'll definitely rejoin!! read more

My review is for the child care, constantly walking in on my child crying or sad in the corner or watching her defend another little girl from getting pushed around. A lot of the times they mix the much older children with the toddler and that doesn't keep me relaxed. It's stresses me out. I have decided to terminate my membership solely on this. read more

I really do love this facility for all that they offer! The workout classes are easy to schedule with the mobile app available! They have basketball courts, a kids academy, a cafe open early in the morning and multiple pools! And all the workout machines you could really ask for! I love the free weight sections and how it's organized from the rest of the workout floor. All of the machines also have TVs and WiFi hookups available! It's so cool and state of the art. Took a workout class with a friend then the assistant manager comes in recording the class (they didn't ask). We came to workout not do a shoot they want likes and views here they are. Not everyone wants to be on camera I came to Texas for a different experience. I'm paying for a service and they don't care how you feel. They said they are allowed to Record and post when they WANT. Not ok we come to actually get in shape. Very upset my life online doesn't reflect my everyday. I'm not paid by lifetime I pay them. Then they said they were doing a photoshoot for the instructor SHE CAN DO ONE WHEN SHES OFF!Stayaway from Mariannas class she wants to film vs TEACH. I need a new company if this is what they allow! I love it here but it is so uncomfortable that some trainers do not care about their personal higiene. Whatever you do, avoid Dominique L classes, he smells from afar. It is very awkward trying to no make a face whenever he comes near you. If you've ever done a GTX class with him you know what I'm talking about. I would love to take more GTX classes if it wasn't because he's the trainer for most GTX classes. It's even hard to put in this review. I hope there's something you guys can do about it. read more

Love this Lifetime better than Cinco ranch lifetime! The management here is excellent and the safety protocols they follow are enforced and I see almost everyone wearing a mask. It is hardly ever crowded and more spacious. The staff is so sweet and kind, the pool is amazing along with their tennis courts and basketball courts. Reserve your spot for classes EARLY always fill up quickly sadly, but all the instructors are fun, energetic, and sweet at this location. This place is become so sketchy, staff members most of the time clueless. They never able to asset, instead, toss members around. Every time you ask a question they charge $10 plus tax in your next statement. Right now I have a dispute that trainer been charging me for classes that I have not taken. And I just randomly caught. I have been part of Life Time in the past, and this place is just stellar. And it's location to where we live is amazing. It is pricey, but you get to see where your money goes with the facilities itself, the classes and the staff. Little rough start first, but I waited until doing a review before jumping the gun with a 3 star. They had some staff issues, for me at least, with rudeness and lack of knowledge of what they offered (the cafe options), and the kids academy was insane when it came to the check-in, check-out process. But it seems they worked the kinks out and it's gotten wayyy better. The selection of weights, machines, leverage systems etc.. is great for any program. And the classes offered, both free and paid are great. The spa, though myself have not utilized my wife has, is wonderful from what my wife said. Lockers are always clean and the fact they provide the soaps, shaving stuff etc.. is an awesome bonus for us forgetful minds. Overall, I love this gym, and consider it a second home and very glad to be a part of it and continue to be a part of it. read more

Good things first, very very friendly staff, clean facility and a great experience. Unfortunately I wont be going back. I was a member from around 2001/2002 or so for about 10 years so so spent over $14000.00 to use their facilities. I went through some down times and stopped using the facility a while back then renewed a few years later. They had tried to pull from my card for a couple months when I stopped going but waved that fee for me since I was a member for so long. Unfortunately it happened to me again last year. I did not use the facility and had other things to deal with and my card was not valid for them to pull from again. I went to sign up again and paid 195.00 to sign up again online. When I went in they said they could not wave the $200+ from trying to pull from my card. Asked if I wanted to make payments...etc. I fully understand procedure but I spent alot here over the years which I think outweighs 2 months of charges when I was not even using the facility. Very unfortunate as I did enjoy this place and would have been a member for many years to come as I was before. Going to start going to a new gym so if anyone knows of one let me know. read more

My boyfriend and I moved from Seattle area to Houston area and chose this gym because of the amenities. We walked in without an appointment and asked for a tour and we were given a tour immediately. The gym is huge and has a lot to offer. Also has learning areas and play areas for kids including swim lessons. They offer all kinds of spa services like waxing, nails, hair, physical therapy and chiropractic. They have a bar during the summer with the outdoor pool and a nice cafe Inside. My family of 5 were members of Life Time until the Pandemic. I always thought it was a very family friendly place. I sent my 16-soon to be 17 year old girls to ask if there were job openings, perhaps in the Cafe or helping with the kids camps in the summer. The manager standing at the front desk on 5/21 at 4:30pm asked their age and then said "I mean...I guess you can go back to the cafe" in a demeaning tone while snickering. I have been a member of various Lifetime facilities on and off over the last 15 years and have been generally satisfied. They took actions during the COVID-19 crisis that included prorating member dues for days the facility was closed and laying off their entire staff, WITHOUT PAY (ok, that makes sense). However, they threatened all of the personal trainers and coaches about their non-competes - trying to convince them that they would (ILLEGALLY) attempt to enforce non-compete clauses and prevent them from offering training, nutrition or consulting services on their own even while the company was NOT offering similar services OR paying the employees under the terms of said contracts. This HIGHLY ILLEGAL, unethical and bullying behavior is SHOCKING!! This is absolutely worth consideration when deciding whether or not to patronize this organization once they re-open. Meanwhile, we are ABSOLUTELY paying our trainers to work with us (from 6 feet away) at our home gym and outside. Lifetime will threaten legal action against them or refuse to let them come back to work for making a living - but I am more than happy to stay in shape and make sure they can pay their rent. And it even gets better. After finally speaking with someone over training. they chose to not help me so. I informed the manager to cancel my membership and he sell he would and to sent it in writing which I did with an email. Checking my March credit card charges, I see that they have still been charging my card. Called and was informed that I was to come to the club to cancel and the manager I talked with did not have the authority to cancel my membership. they intend on keeping the additional payments they have been collecting. Are you kidding me. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Its like the are stealing money from me. Now get this, the lady on the phone today is cancelling my membership without anything in writing???? really?? then why don't they refund the last four months??? be carefull with this club. So I went in on the 31st of July to get pricing and I ended up joining the same day. They prorated it to $90. Then the next day on the 1st of August they charged my card $155. I call and ask why was my card charged and I was told that that it was for the month. So some of you may say it's common sense because the woman who I was on the phone with (Dana) sure did but it's not common sense for me. I've never had a gym membership before and they clearly didn't let me know it's due on the first. Then while we're on the phone data stops me mid sentence to say she needs to deal with other customers in front of her. Super unprofessional. You deal with the current customer before moving to the next. She was trying to rush me off the phone and just refused helping me. I asked for the manager then she told me she was the manager and wouldn't get someone above her when I told her I was done talking to her since she was being so rude. Not only is the survive horrible they're just shady to me. I could have came on the first and paid for the full month rather paying for prorated & a first full months. I am a new member and really enjoying the classes . Very professional and positive environment. Facilities are upscale and clean. The lap pools are nice as is the hot tub in the ladies locker room. They provide lotions, shampoo etc even razors. Every thing you need. The cafe is a little pricey but convenient. I have not tried the bar yet, but looks like a good spot to chill w a friend after a workout. I spend several hours a day there. read more

Cypress Life Time is clean and I love the workout equipment. There is so many things I like about this place. Most of their employees are so friendly. I did have a raciest remark made by one employee and I was very disappointed. It was very clear how she felt about a certain race. . Sad to see this at a great gym. I wish all the elliptical machines had a tv signal. Had a bad color experience at the spa. I tried to call to have the color fixed twice with no return call. Needless to say I won't be using their hair services. I had to have it corrected somewhere else. Very costly... wouldn't recommend the salon. Love the restaurant! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Asked all month long for a copy of everything I signed. Never got it! Staff never picks up phones! Nice equipment but the wipes to clean them are always dry.. so you know the equipment is dirty! OVER PRICED TRAINERS! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THE KIDS ACADEMY!! Went to pick my daughter up after a workout and she was sitting scared in a corner while the adults in the room stood around talking to each other not even paying attention to the children. Hands down the best fitness place I ever been too. Very clean, friendly staff. The equipment were all new and there is a lot of space. I love the locker rooms a lot since they are big and clean have everything you ever need there! Also not obnoxious loud music anywhere in the gym! It really is like a spa and yes the membership is a little pricey at first but it is well worth it. My brother and I love the place! This place is brand new (built 2018) and has a pristine facility. There is absolutely nothing missing from this gym (except maybe racquetball/squash, if you're into that, and lifting belts, which you probably own if you use). The price is very high, but if you can afford it, you can justify it. The locker rooms have a jacuzzi, steam room (which is underrated), sauna, lotion, mouthwash, shavers/shaving cream, and more. There are indoor/outdoor pools, about 10 new tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, free and paid yoga/fitness classes, trainers, machines, weights, over 10 weightlifting racks, each with a 15kg and 20kg Eleiko barbell and bumper plates. There's a full cafe, salon/spa, and The Zone (which does nutrition, recovery, chiropractic, and assessment services); those are not included with a membership. There's an app containing visit logs, facility/class schedules, etc. There's more of course, but there's no use trying to list it all. People of all shapes and sizes and ages work out here. Having a gym this nice makes you feel healthy, and it inspires you to try new things to improve your well-being. read more

I'm done with this place. 1. I went yesterday to talk to someone at the aquatics department and there was no one there. I went to the outdoor pool and asked one of the lifeguard at the check in counter if there is someone that can help me so I can reschedule my child's swimming lesson and she said "she doesn't know where they are", May be in a meeting. Nice! Meetings after meetings but pretty soon your meeting will be no use if you don't have staff attending to your guests needs. 2. Called and was directed to aquatics and I get a drop call from someone. Called again, and it prompted me to A VOICEMAIL. WTH!!!! Who runs this kind of establishment!! Worst service I've ever had and I'm paying $120 a month PLUS swimming lessons for my kid. This place BLOWS! This gym has everything you need. The best cardio machines, fun classes, and a great staff! The new equipment is compatible with your Apple Watch which adds a nice dynamic and competitiveness to your training routine. The women's locker room has a sauna, steam room, and whirlpool all in one for the utmost privacy. The only downfall is the parking lot gets full quickly. If you are serious about losing a few extra pounds or tone up. I would suggest Sofia as a trainer, she is a wonderful person and will motivate you to do one hundred more jumping jacks. Working with Sofia made workouts fun and not routine. She helped me with eating habits too, I really love this location and it breaks my heart to end my workout with Sofia, she is more than just a trainer but a good friend I will always cherish. I recently accepted a job offer which will relocate me to Austin Tx. Facilities are very nice but be careful when signing for any extras, so far has been an unpleasant experience because there were many fine prints which were not explained and I feel taken advantage of, ask if there will be more equipment or tests needed before joining any training classes or you will be in for a surprise, also you need 30 day notice to cancell any of them or you will continue to be charged. The pool access is limited due to evening classes taking many lanes on the indoor pools so check it out at a time you were planning to attend, weekends are great for pool time. read more
