Beautiful exterior of the Lifetime
Ransom S.

One of my favorite Lifetime's in Texas! Always friendly faces greeting you at the front, and the machines are always so clean. And the pool outside is great for tanning, which is one of my favorite things to do! Come join this Lifetime, it's a great one!

Love the outdoor lap pool
Tomas R.

I am so happy to have changed Life Time locations and taking an extra ten minutes of a commute to make this my whole gym. This location is unlike any other including the fact there is ample parking available and it is so easy to get in and out of the parking lot (which is definitely a headache at other locations). There is a pretty friendly team at the front desk and once you walk-in you are in for such a treat. You'll notice immediately there is a barbershop/salon to your left and a full cafe with meals, coffee, smoothies, and protein heavy products. As you walk through you'll notice the working space which encourages you to bring your laptops etc. and not make excuses for working out. It's pretty refreshing tbh and it helps you take advantage of when you have some time between meetings but not necessarily to step away completely. This two story building features an indoor rock climbing space, pickelball courts, basketball courts, child daycare, and so much more. In the indoor pool area you'll see a sauna, hot tubs and indoor lap pools and water slides. This then leads into their outdoor pool and cabana area which is so big. Locker rooms is large and spacious and I appreciate the steam room which has lavender scents. When you head upstairs you'll notice a studio class space, stretch zone with massage chairs, free weights, machines, and a large cardio area. It's super easy to be here for a proper workout and take breaks throughout and enjoy the amenities. The price is well worth it and I can't recommend it enough.

Overall a good place. However, I noticed mold from the bathroom ceiling. They should do regular clean up or check the mold.

I joined for the classes, but there are some inconsistencies with the quality there. Pros: -Amar's Zumba class on Saturdays. Her routines are high energy, and her song selection is perfect, so you get a good workout. She's excellent, so it's understandable why the class is always packed! -Annette's Tuesday evening Body Works Plus Abs. She is very intense with the repeating intervals with no breaks in between, but you leave feeling accomplished! Cons: -Some of the classes are slow, and you feel as though you did nothing afterwards. I overheard other members with the same sentiment. For example, the Monday/Wednesday evening Zumba is too low energy. I felt like I hadn't done anything. Same with the Friday morning Zumba instructor. Cycle instructor on Monday is not intense enough, and they play the same 5 songs over and over (some of which are pretty lame). -Annette is leaving, so that Tuesday evening class will have major shoes to fill. The only thing I want to change about that class is the music- it's cheesy remixes that are not inspiring at all! - This past Thursday, I waited 20 minutes after start time with 5 other people for the Body Works instructor to show up. She never did. I remember her from when I used to come in pre-COVID. She is a good instructor who is not too intense, but she often showed up late. A 20 min. wait is ridiculous, though. The gym should have better communication with the instructors. "No one called in" is not good enough- call them! -Also, I echo what others have said about Victor. He is pushy as hell. I told him multiple times I wasn't interested in signing anyone up for a guest pass. He continued. The fool should just be glad I'M signing up for a membership! Overall, the gym is fine, I just wish there was a better selection for classes. I just want to get what I pay for. I typically come in at least 3 times a week.

Tonight I went in and went to use a calf machine, and there was no pen to load the weights on it, I went to the front desk and the young man there said oh yeah we know about that you gotta talk to the manager tomorrow or maintenance and I said, "don't you want to write a note down about the machine number? He goes "huh...". So I went over to the sales guy that was still there and asked him if he could do anything about it and he said "I don't care. I'm just a sales guy." He went on to say "If you want to get anything done, you need to take time off and come back to the gym between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm to talk to the manager. He would even take note. This is terrible Customer Service. Terrible maintenance, and it makes me completely regret that I signed up with these guys just over a month ago. I'm now on the hunt to find something much better than this. Unless there is a serious change in their attitude about equipment maintenance, I discourage anyone from signing up here.

Update: Ownership has brought back Dee as General Manager to correct the issue. Dee has been…read moreexcellent -- he welcomed us back, is actively managing the situation with the trainer, and assured us that this problem will not happen again. We are thankful to be back, although in our opinion, it should never have come to this in the first place. Changing from 1 star to 4. Our group has played futsal here every Saturday morning since the gym opened without incident. We welcome anyone -- men, women, and players from all over the world -- and have built a diverse, respectful, safe, and competitive community. Futsal is a world-recognized sport, very different from regular soccer, played on a basketball court with a smaller, heavier ball and soft-soled shoes. The focus is on technique and passing, not speed or heavy contact. Recently, we had 15 players on one court (as always) when we were suddenly told "basketball only" is allowed -- even though posted court rules don't prohibit futsal and the courts are often empty or lightly used. Volleyball and other activities are allowed, yet futsal was banned without warning. We've always shared space and even played on half a court when needed. This enforcement felt arbitrary and inconsistent. Manager Kira said she was "brought in from Dallas to enforce the rules." An outside trainer, apparently giving paid lessons, positioned trainees next to our game, used profanity, and said he didn't "give a xxxx" if futsal is played worldwide. Management saw and did nothing. At that point, 14 members canceled and many more considered leaving.

Even though I live a bit further now, I still make the drive because this studio is home. First off, the coaches here are outstanding. It's always such a joy taking Head Coach Kara's Monday evening classes, which are like a refreshing splash of cold water that sets a great tone for the week ahead. Morgan's signature routines ("3, 2, *clap* 1," "If you gotta peace out, Girl Scout...", and plenty more) and Renea's themed workouts keep things so fun and engaging. I haven't had many classes with Kendall or Brie, but every one I've taken has been excellent. I haven't yet taken a class with Stephanie, but based on this studio's track record of incredible coaches, I'm sure she's just as stellar. The front desk team is equally fantastic. From when Andre was leading the charge to now with Nicole at the helm, the vibe has always been warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. Staff like Brandey and so many others over the years help create a space that feels inviting from the moment you step through the door. Customer service here is consistently top-tier. TLDR: Do it, sign up, invest in yourself. You won't regret it and you'll reap even more benefits…read morethan you imagined. After moving to the Cedar Park area and about 1.5 years of lackluster workouts given the pandemic, my husband and I knew we needed something radically different. In the past, we'd been Class Pass members and really enjoyed spin and Pilates classes, but we'd stopped seeing changes in our body and knew we needed more. After some quick research (the Yelp/Google/Facebook reviews speak for themselves), we signed up for a consultation with Eugene. The consultation was free and straightforward: he took measurements, learned about our priorities, educated us about the programs offered, and at the end we even tried a free bootcamp class. Needless to say, after that class, we were hooked and ended up committing to a 3 month semi-private training program. The program was challenging (in the best ways) and we always felt supported. Infinit8 has everything you need to succeed: an easy to use app that guides you through the nutrition component, exercises routines that build on each other until one day you wake up, and realize how strong you are, and, of course, the in-gym classes (semi-private and bootcamp) that always surprise and delight you. I felt supported, understood, and seen. Coming in 3-4 times a week, I looked forward the amazing community feeling and the instructors always cheering us on. The emphasis on correct form also blew my mind -- safety is paramount here and it shows. We learned so much about ourselves and our bodies in just one summer. I lost ~13lbs in 3 months and over 6% body fat, which for someone 5'2 is a lot. What's even more important, is that my mental health and happiness has also improved, as well as my confidence. My husband's goal were radically different, he wanted to stay around the same weight while losing body fat and getting more toned and he nailed those too. Lastly, this was a great value. We paid ~$300 a month for nutritional + fitness coaching + access to all classes + the support of incredible humans. Honestly, the program pays for itself once you realize how far you'll go. Eugene was our main champion, but we also worked with Ben, Farrah, and Teresa and they were all fantastic and professional.
