One of my biggest concerns was the way grading policies and academic expectations were communicated and applied. There were times when it was difficult to get clear answers about how grades were calculated or how certain policies were being applied. When your ability to progress or graduate can come down to a fraction of a percentage point, students deserve complete transparency and consistency from the beginning. Students invest an incredible amount of time, money, sacrifice, and effort into becoming nurses. They should not have to fight for clarification about their grades or feel uncertain about whether the policies outlined to them are being applied consistently.

Karina helped me with my resume after the first part of the class was over and helped me find my externship. A special thank you to my instructor, Dulce, she was truly one of the highlights of the course. I had her during the second half of the program in person. This was where we were doing hands on learning with injections, blood draws, finger pricks, etc.. She was knowledgeable, funny, patient and always made sure we understood the material. Dulce guided us through the entire process and made sure we were prepared for our externships. Our instructor, Michael Liganor is phenomenal and I kept thinking how blessed we were to have him. I told him I learned so much just on my first day of lectures. He definitely could get picked up to be a Medical Director or some other fancy title of a hospital but he was here.... With us! Blessed! The school makes it easy to sign up and get paperwork done. They also offer students of the school discounted classes so take advantage! Tiffany, Sun and Michael are super effective communicators and are very helpful and can answer all your questions about CNA, or any of the many classes they offer. The reason I didn't was because Ms. Rainee, an on-and-off clinical instructor, said I was out of class for "over 20 minutes" without providing proof. Earlier that same day, she wanted to write me up, and I refused without first speaking with the nursing director, Ms. Linda. Shortly afterward, I was dropped from the program without what I felt was a fair opportunity to explain my side of the situation. ( Even though I had proof of calls and pictures) I had to go through an appeal process just to get the opportunity to return. I made my appeal to Paul Gibson, and the same day happened to be his last day at the school. He acted as though he was going to help me and take care of the situation, but I was never informed that he was leaving. Weeks went by with no response. I eventually had to go to campus myself, where I found out from other employees that he had resigned that day. No one followed up with me, and I had to start the appeal process again. Eventually, I was able to return the program the following semester. I then had Debbie Allen as my theory instructor. From the beginning, I felt singled out and treated differently. I was removed from the first two classes, and I later heard similar concerns from other students about how she treated students. When I returned, it felt like everything had changed. new rules, new expectations, and constant scrutiny. The communication between staff and students is extremely poor. There were multiple situations where I felt students were expected to accept decisions without being given a fair opportunity to explain themselves or have their concerns properly addressed. I have spent thousands of dollars and countless hours working toward becoming an LVN. Having my education repeatedly put at risk because of situations that I feel could have been handled professionally and fairly was extremely stressful and frustrating. I also had concerns about another instructor, Mr. Noe. During my experience, he referred to women in the class as "sexy," and there were also text messages sent to students at inappropriate hours. Eventually, students had a meeting with Ms. Linda regarding these concerns, and Mr. Noe later left the school. I had so many instructors come and go during my time here that it became difficult to feel like there was any consistency within the program. In my personal experience, I felt that several staff members prioritized their own decisions over actually listening to students and helping them succeed. I also had issues with Mr. Steve Martin. I emailed him requesting my transcript and followed up, but he ignored my request for almost TWO MONTHS. I eventually had to physically go to campus just to get my transcript, and only then was it provided to me. Something as important as a student's transcript should not require repeatedly chasing staff down in person when I had already requested it through email months earlier. The people I personally had serious concerns with were Ms. Linda, Ms. Rainee, Ms. Debbie Allen, Paul Gibson, Mr. Steve Martin, and Mr. Noe. After everything I experienced, I unfortunately came to feel that the students were not the priority. The one major positive experience I had was Ms. Sarah, who was an amazing theory instructor. She genuinely cared about teaching and her students, and she was one of the few instructors who made me feel supported. Ironically, she told us that this was her first and last year teaching at the school. This review doesn't even cover half of what happened during my time here. I am sharing my experience because I wish I had known what I was getting myself into before investing so much time, money, and energy into this program. If you're considering enrolling, I strongly recommend talking to current and former students and asking very specific questions about the instructors, communication, appeals process, and how disciplinary situations are handled.

I arrive for my 9am appointment, they get my name and suddenly the class is full. I'm not allowed to fill out any paperwork and I am sent on my way. I recommend you run as far away as possible. It's a joke of an establishment and it's far from professional. Anywhere that requires you to pay BEFORE you are ever allowed to even step foot into the facility should be a HUGE red flag. The facilities are old, small and clearly not well managed. There's way too many better options please go elsewhere.
