The sign-up, the parking, they even had a nice little kitchen area with coffee brewed for us when we got there! Chris who taught my class was great. He was a bit shy when I asked his name, although I'm pretty sure he told us at the beginning of the class, but I forgot. But I will tell you that man kept me laughing and engaged, I didn't doze off even once. I felt like I left the building with a good solid foundation for my new job. I heard that the business is looking for a new home, apparently the owner of the building sold it and gave them very short notice. So it will still be in the Mission Valley area and if you are looking to take a PALS class, I highly recommend it. read more

I took my ASLS Prehospital and Inhospital Provider and Instructor course and I highly recommend this course to prehospital EMS, RN'S, NP, MD. It a comprehensive ASLS course where one assess a pt with normal sx, abnormal AIS sx and a full pt with gross motor AIS sx with return demonstration of abnormalities and treatment interventions. Chris the Instructor conducted the course along with Sephie and Daniel other Instructor assisted the course. I've been renewing my CPR (BLS for HC providers) for years, and I keep coming back every two years. I appreciate the text reminders, as well as the discount offered for return customers! The classes are fun, fast & convenient. They offer online, hybrid and in-person options. I was going to do the hybrid option except I'm sick of computers/remote software so I opted for in person class instead! I'll be back in 2025 for sure! I have taken ETS for my BLS provider recertification several times with mostly great experiences with the instructors on 09/17/2022 and 05/19/2018. I also recommend the basic ECG course and Pharm pre-course. I have also bough CPR masks from this Oceanside location as well as BLS/ACLS books which I can't remember if it is part of the package. I know I needed the updated BLS provider handbook at my last in person BLS renewal on 09/17/2022. I never did get the chance to complete the PALS course with ETS due to my crazy workload during the pandemic. Luckily they honored my deposit to be applied to another course which was the last BLS renewal. My recent BLS 1 stop station w/ online access experience at the Murrieta was terrible. I completed the online course work beforehand, instructions to download and submit certificate of completion before performing the skills portion was not true as detailed in the email instructions. These things stress you out when you sign up on a Friday, complete on Saturday, and have a skills appointment Monday morning. Please update the information in the email ETS. Then on Monday I drive from San Bernardino to Murrieta to a cluttered small storage room where I am supposed to complete the BLS skills portion. First, the wifi was down. I called Admin and their only solution was for them to reschedule for another date, that wasn't an option for me. I attempted to restart the laptop as instructed with no luck with wifi connectivity. Then I had to go around the building on my own accord and ask the different businesses in the building to assist me with restarting the building internet or provide me with temporary access to their wifi!! I was lucky that a nightingale representative helped me out by providing me with their private wifi and then I was able to complete the BLS skills which wasn't the best instruction and not the best directions to perform the skills. I didn't leave afterwards feeling that I brushed up on my CPR skills like with past experiences. On top of that I personally had to move around their crap to be able to perform the infant CPR. Whoever is responsible for setting up this room for students should be demoted, replaced, or fired. This experience was substandard and I do not recommend it for the price of $89?? The BLS renewal used to be half the price, in person with superior instruction, and an overall great experience. Furthermore, I also retook my expired ACLS with Ahmed Jaffer on 10/21/2019 in Oceanside and he was an overall great instructor. However, he should keep his lame "miner" jokes to a minimum (we all know he doesn't get laid enough at home by his wife). Sure, entertain the students but don't degrade the lone male student to make the rest of the female students laugh to pump your little ego up you goof ball. I will not be returning to ETS, you lost a loyal customer. That is all. read more

We had a good mix of hands-on training, videos, and lectures. Each person had their own adult- and infant-sized dummies to work with. Normally, there would be more group exercises but because of COVID, they managed to come up with a system where you learn how to do multi-person rescues without actually having to practice in a group. I'm glad I came here for my BLS recertification! They have a great class schedule that can accommodate most people. I paid $50 for the class and $17 for the (optional) book. I started class at 9:30am and we finished up around noon. It was only 3 students and the instructor. My instructor Wade was really cool, friendly, and informative. The overall business was really nice and it's cool that they sell CPR accessories and they provide complimentary water and coffee. This was the very first time using Express Training for my healthcare certifications, specifically for my ACLS cert. and I was extremely happy with how the class was taught. I had Chris as the primary instructor. I haven't had such a talented and proficient instructor since my undergrad days at UCSD. He was organized, extremely knowledgable and was able to keep everyone engaged throughout the entire course. He was very adept at creating thought provoking and highly relevant scenarios for us to navigate. I was unsure of how to handle the "Megacode Simulations" but by the end of it I was actually wanting to do more. They were a bit daunting at first but Chris provides a very approachable and friendly environment that enables you to learn with each answer/response. His vast knowledge base and experience makes it such an incredible learning experience. I learned so much from both watching and participating in this. He was able to dynamically create various situations in a very relevant manner that made you actively think in a logical progression while utilizing the ACLS Algorithms. IMO this was one of best aspects of taking this class with him. Overall, the class was a success. I feel better and more prepared than before and I now have a renewed sense of confidence that I can begin to handle the obstacles that come with being a Tele RN. That said, I passed the exam with 94%. I will absolutely be using Training Express again for my next certification and/or renewal. read more

The whole process to book the class was easy and Ahmed made the class fun by coming up with crazy scenarios (I saved Matt Damon from various life threatening situations on a space ship). He was a great instructor in that he kept everything easy to understand and at a good pace. The class didn't drag on and on and I learned a lot! I loved that the facility had ample parking and that everything was clean. They have a nice snack bar for $1 a piece if you feel like you need a little something something.
