I cannot say enough nice things about Express Training Solutions! All of their teachers are kind, educated, and extremely informative. This is my second TNCC with them, and I've done ACLS/BLS/PALS with them over the years as well. NOTE: Half of my class was from up north- Los Angeles and Bakersfield! Apparently there are minimal TNCC courses available right now due to covid. We're super lucky to have such a valuable service here in San Diego. There's also free coffee read more

I can see why they have the 5-star reviews. This is my second time here and if I need to re-certify again, I'll undoubtedly come back. I first certified in CPR about 40 years ago and have re-certified many different times and many different locations, but this most recent time was the easiest and most convenient. I received an email from Express Training Solutions reminding me my certification was about to expire. I need this for work, so I was already planning to re-certify but wasn't sure where. When I got their email, I checked them out and they have an online pathway and I decided to try that. Rather than sitting in a class for hours, I could do the majority online in my own home and then schedule an appointment to come in and demonstrate my skills. I signed up for the online version and it was quite easy to navigate. There are scenarios you have to react to with the online training and these were especially helpful to reinforce what you were learning through the lectures. When you are finished with the scenarios, there is a report card showing you what you passed and what parts you got wrong. If you got anything wrong, it would also tell you what the correct steps are. After finishing the online training portion, I scheduled my date for the skills demonstration. Their office is located right off the freeway and they have plenty of free parking. I was running behind but they didn't have a problem with that. I walked in and our instructor, Patrick, was still going over introductions. We had a very small class and it was only to demonstrate our skills so it went very quickly. Once finished, instead of a paper card, they now issue an e-card which is very convenient to send to anyone who might need it for your employment. Patrick Woolum was our instructor and if there is an award from ETS for instructor of the year, I hope he gets it! He is very professional and has a great sense of humor. More than that, he doesn't waste a lot of time. He kept a pace that was quick but appropriate for the students in that class. I don't like wasting time and Patrick is ideal. If more explanation was needed, Patrick was more than happy to provide that. I was in and out in a very reasonable amount of time. If I need to re-certify again, I will most certainly use ETS and hope Patrick is still there. read more

Well it's that time again.. It was a great class and would want another class taken in this location ACLS/ PALS Great instructor: (Daryl Graham).. BLS is something required at work and sometimes we go to classes just to comply to our employer's requirement..little do we know that one day this can possibly make a big impact in yours or somebody else's life...With that being said an instructor plays a big role into making sure that the students are learning from his class.. Daryl shares new updates from AHA.. I was glad I am awake all throughout the class... They also offer snacks, coffee and water but please remember to bring CASH.. read more

Just completed my ACLS renewal yesterday with ETS yesterday and it was a breeze! My instructor, Phillip, was really knowledgeable and comical, which made the class go by fast. Would highly recommend ETS to anyone who needs to obtain their ACLS. This facility is highly efficient and considerate of your time. They will do their best to ensure you understand the material and get you out of there with your certificate in a timely fashion. read more

Had a super trainer/instructor, Chris. He was light-hearted, funny, and prepared all while offering a humours side if whst is obviously a routine for him. I laughed and I was a bit surprised to see such somber reactions amongst my classmates. They eventually came around. I guess some folks need a little while to warm up. I was pleased with the class availability and even though it was a stormy night (for San Diego!) We had six in our class. Chris gave me some tips for my son who's pursuing an RN in the military. I came here for my IV certification and Blood withdrawal. At first I was a bit nervous because my skill is rusty with blood withdrawal, but Mr Osman the instructor made us feel comfortable. Mr Osman made the class Fun and he's extremely knowledgeable and a great educator! He is awesome! This place offers a comprehension training for anyone who need to re-up their training or certs. I came here last weekend because I am due for mine. I have learn a lot from the instructors there, they were so accommodating to my injuries, it make me feel at ease when I performed the skill set to renewed my certs. The instructor is really good, and they have up to date training equipment to help you to achieved your goals or to correct some that you were doing it incorrectly for years, being other trainers never bothered to correct you on. Its a life saving techniques, at least here I know I am learning the best info that they offered here. Thanks for helping me learned an old concept with a new approach! Very efficient and educational. Patrick was a great instructor.

I go here every 2 yrs for my BLS renewal. They are awesome! Every instructor I've ever had is awesome, fun, funny, engaging, entertaining, makes the class interesting and enjoyable, rather than a dreadful way to spend part of your day. I recommend them to all of my nurse friends. They make it so easy, understandable and painless. I'm so grateful to them, and all the awesome instructors! read more

I found Express on a google search for pals and ACLS classes. Some stuff I really liked: Ahmed in Oceanside has so much energy! Explains well. Infuses humor. Invites questions. Stays focused. Great drills. Oceanside office is clean, good temp. Easy parking and right in a mini mall. Just off the freeway. Answered phone before 3rd ring the 2 times I called Easy system to pay online. Only one item I found difficult: Search engine from home couldn't find by class. Had to search by location. read more

If I can give 100 stars I would! First of all, the facility is very easy to find with plenty of parking and close to restaurants if u need to buy food for lunch. But if you brought food they have a refrigerator that you can store your lunch at. They even have a water station and free coffee! Facility is super clean too, rooms were well lit, and everyone is very friendly. Now for crème de La crème .... I had the pleasure of having Mr. David Patrick Woolum as my ACLS instructor. Wow!!! What an amazing instructor! He was fun, explained everything very well, explained the algorhythms very well, had us think critically, helped and guided us on what we should do. I passed my ACLS because he was amazing! He told us all the essential information we need to know to help us understand acls and pass it. The final exam was open book but he was so good that I barely used the open book material. After taking his class I feel like I can actually run a code or at least be useful during a code. I highly recommend taking this class with him. I think he also teaches BLS, so if u need that ... take him! Best instructor ever!! read more

I took a private in-person Red Cross Wilderness First Aid class here. For a class they do not normally teach (and also to a bunch of non-healthcare professionals), Daniel and Chris were absolutely AMAZING instructors. I never felt like they were just reading off of the PowerPoint presentation slides to the class. They were engaged instructors that would ask for questions and feedback from members of the class and were highly knowledgeable in everything that they were teaching us. They both come from very different backgrounds but their real-life experiences make them great instructors and bring a lot of extra value to the class. I found so much value in the real life scenarios that they walked us through after the classroom training. They took us out back of the office onto a little hiking path to make the "wilderness" piece of the training more real and hands on and they did a great job of providing feedback on how we did handling the mock scenario as well as answering all of the questions that we had. The classroom and facility itself was very clean and organized. They had a break room with coffee, water, and snacks available to participants and even the receptionist at check-in was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend taking classes from here as it's a wonderful facility with great instructors. I left feeling better prepared and more confident helping out in a medical emergency in or out of the wilderness! read more

Been coming back here everytime I renew my BLS. Staff is amazing, Patrick is amazing!

I had a great experience here! I had instructor Mariano Harmon and he is very knowledgeable on CPR. My friend and I needed our ACLS because we are in nursing school and want to get as many things on our resume as we can. We picked Express Training Solutions because they had great Yelp reviews- and they did not disappoint! Peter was a great instructor (we think he should be a nursing school teacher) and he explained everything really well. He was very patient and tried to make the class fun and exciting without pressuring us to learn the material. In fact, I learned a lot more in the class than I expect and left the class feeling a little bit more knowledgable! I really like the environment. The facility was clean, the break room had water and coffee and snacks, and the guys running the place were awesome! I highly recommend you come here for your ACLS/PALS/NRP needs! read more

Completed a BLS course. Quick and to the point. Easy for us health professionals. David Mercado was instructing and was great in explaining and demonstrating. He was accomodating with snacks and refreshments during pre-class and quick mid-break. I was in a small class of 3, therefore we absorbed all the info fast and return demonstrations were quick and to the point. The facility is just a small office room at ground level located right in front of parking lot. Its the tan and brown office building - with there office all the way at end of the lot. Theres a breakroom with complementary refreshments and candy to keep awake. I'll definitely return for other renewals in the future. read more

Great. Look no further, go here. Instructor highly knowledgeable and class is concise

If you've never taken an ACLS course before I'm sure you're a bit anxious. There's a lot of content to cover and algorithms to master. But Express Training Solutions makes this class easy to absorb and understand. I had Phillip Rodriguez as my instructor and his teaching style was perfect. He knew when to use fun and humor to relax his students, and when to focus on the material so we would all pass the exam. Even though it's kind of a long day, the time flew by. I learned a lot and I'm actually looking forward to renewing my certification already :-). And if Phillip is teaching again in 2 years, then he's the guy I want to sign up with! read more

I recently took an ACLS class with BLS add on 'cause I let my cards expire. I found the center to be well-located, great parking. Right across I-8 with lots of lunch options if you're going to be there all day. Center was comfortable and tea and coffee available. The staff was excellent. They were kind, approachable, knowledgable, friendly, and never condescending. Training and testing was quick and efficient, which I appreciated. Good prices, too, 'cause I shopped around. I would/will return if I need more certs. read more

A few days ago I took an ACLS class here and loved it! My instructor Jose was awesome. He made the different algorithms easy to understand and overall made the class fun. This was my first ACLS class ever and I was nervous going into it, but felt confident at the end of it. I expected to feel a lot of pressure leading a mega code, but Jose promoted a positive learning environment for everyone in the class. When I need to renew my certification I will definitely come back! read more

This team is fantastic. I've been a student at their Mission Valley location since 2016. The reason I keep coming back is their quality instruction. The facilitators are knowledgeable, funny, and explain the material in a practical way. The staff is very flexible when it comes to accommodations. I've recommended this training center to several people, and everyone thanks me for suggesting this place. Whether this is your first, or third renewal class, expect to have an excellent time. read more

I'm pretty sure this is the only place I've ever come to in my nursing career for certifications and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. It's so easy to schedule and has plenty of availability for classes. Parking is abundant and the facility is super nice and clean! I feel confident in my skills after each class here and I appreciate the instructor feed back along with the feedback devices. I did the online fast track for ACLS this time because I am a new mom and I don't like to leave. While AHA has really stepped it up with the online portion modules, I would love to come back for an in person class again. Patrick is way more interesting than my computer :) Thank you guys for keeping health care workers educated and certified during this time and always! read more

I keep coming back for my BLS and ACLS renewals. They don't stop there though, Express Training Solutions offers a list of courses. Friendly staff. Clean environment. Knowledgeable instructors. There is no wonder they have a 5 star Yelp rating for more than 300 reviews. read more

I just had a class at this facility and I have to say that the humor the instructor adds to the informative class kept me calm and able to digest all the material. When it came time for the test it was a breeze almost as though it was too easy. I credit that to the amazing instruction technique that the professor at that location possesses. I remember him by the name of David. Great guy funny but effective in communications and instructions. I will be going back here when it comes time for me to renew my BLS certification. Thank you professor and thank you Express Training. read more

Love Express Training Solutions. The North County location is closest but doesn't always have the dates I need so I will sometimes have to trek down here. The classes are very convenient in how often they are offered. The staff is great and knowledgeable. They are reasonable with your time. They are open to any questions so don't be scared to ask. Make sure to study some prior to the class so you have a good grasp of the material going in. Everyone will lead an exercise during the ACLS and PALS which can cause some to be nervous but don't be. You don't have to know everything by heart and it's over in a short period. read more

My employer was offering their yearly CPR class renewal at one of our work sites today and I was really impressed with how awesome this company was. Patrick was one of our instructors and I can't remember the name of the other guy teaching us, all I remember was that he was an EMT, but both were seriously outstanding. I always look forward to hearing what the new AHA guidelines are. The instructors really informed us on what the updated appropriate methods are and we all left the class feeling very refreshed. The test is a breeze and whatever you get wrong, they make sure they explain it to you. Great company and I highly recommend them for any CPR renewal. read more
