I appreciate the deep value clean. My only concern was really the oven and the refrigerator add on service. Refrigerator was done well but I had a baking soda box in there that was removed as it was to reduce odor. The oven surface was cleaned which is great but my main concern was inside the oven. It still had areas I wish was cleaned as well as the overhead range. I had started cleaning inside of it with what I could as well as my grill and towards the side and back to remove what I could overtime. Hiring this company for an add on service for cleaning the Inside of the oven was unsatisfactory. Inside still contain residue, grease, and soap stain towards the side, to the back, and top as well inside the rubber of the oven door so I am unsatisfied with that add on service. For in general with living space, kitchen area, counter tops, windws, ceilin fans, bedroom, closet, bathroom and shower, I was blown away. I did leave some cleaning supplies to help with the clean like toilet brush, some additional trash bags, and paper towel. I even provided a scrubb daddy but they mistakenly took my scrubb daddy. Overall I appreciate Life Maid Easy for coming out to do the deep vallue clean, but I am unsatisfied with inside oven cleaning add on service as it was not in a clean condition as I expected. read more

Look for the negative reviews. They are real. Find a company with no negative reviews and go with them. One of the worst service experiences I've ever had. Please, please learn from my mistake and go with another company. I booked the required "Deluxe Deep Clean" for an initial cleaning. They charged me $415 to clean my 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath house. The price seemed steep, but subsequent cleanings are cheaper, and I can understand cleaning companies charging more for the initial clean because they have no idea as to the condition of your house having not previously cleaned it. They sent me a text the day before confirming that the cleaning technician would arrive between 12-1 the next day. I planned to work a half day at home to let the technician in, and head to the office afterwards. The owner, Marina, called around 12 to let me know that they were running behind and would arrive closer to 2:30. I received an automated text at 2:45 saying the technician was on the way and would arrive in 30 minutes. By 3:45, no one had arrived and no one had called to give me an updated ETA. I finally called Marina, who was only mildly apologetic and explained they had an employee quit and had gotten behind. Someone finally arrived at 4:00. Arriving 3 hours late for a first-time customer is simply not a good look. But that's not where it ended. When I say someone showed up, I mean someONE. Marina sent 1 person to "deep clean" my entire house by herself. She was here for about 2.5 hours and my house was anything but clean when she left. To give a few examples: there were piles of hair left on the staircase, there was still dog food on the floor in the living room from where my dog had eaten breakfast, several counter spaces including the only counter space we have in the bathroom were simply uncleaned. I understand it's a difficult time for businesses, especially small, locally-owned business, but for $415 (plus the $40 tip I gave the technician because I felt bad), and a 3-hour delayed arrival, it honestly felt like we were being taken advantage of. We decided to call Marina and explain the situation because I really wanted to like this company (it's woman-owned!). She was pretty dismissive and said that they're not able to clean everything perfectly, but asked us to send her some pictures. We did this, and did not hear back. After 2 emails and a voicemail, we were finally able to get ahold of Marina 6 days later. Forget dismissive. Marina was downright RUDE on this call. She said we were being, and I quote, "ridiculous" and suggested that the dog food must have gotten on the floor after the technician left (we only feed him once in the morning, so this was impossible, but that's beside the point). I kid you not, the call ended with her hanging up on us! Maybe they were having an off day during the cleaning, and maybe Marina was having a personally bad day when we spoke on the phone, but I wouldn't be willing to spend another $455 to find out. read more

Rachel is fantastic! We've been renting a 3-story, 5-bathroom (!!! It was very easy to schedule with them -- I got a call back first thing Monday morning to the message I left, and was able to set up a 1st time deep cleaning about 2 weeks out. Really wanted to like this company (since it is women-owned and they pay their cleaners benefits), but they are only okay. We have only used them once and decided it was not in our best interest to keep using them. The cleaners looked clean, professional, and arrived cheery and happy, but they also spent a lot of time during our clean to call the office for every little thing. I worked from home that day - heard the cleaners were on the phone and out of nowhere they came into my office and said "our office will be calling you". I then got a call from Ashlee (their rep), who was quite rude and accusatory, about excessive dust and they had to charge me additional - was very unhappy about the interaction, so I asked to speak with Marina (the owner) and Marina was much more professional and easier to talk to. Regardless, it was still unpleasant since it was a work day for me and I had to keep answering phone calls from their office (not in our home) instead of just having the cleaners discuss with me especially when it came to "excessive dust". They wanted to up-charge us for a couple of things. We bought a new construction so dust is expected as they settle. The house was professionally cleaned at closing (~ 2 weeks prior) and I had already cleaned the place prior our appointment, so I was super confused. So I asked for pictures and it turned out they found 1 bathroom vanity shelf - literally 1 shelf - that I missed and used that as "proof" that dust was thick and excessive. Their rep tried to argue with me that having dust in the house requires an up-charge(?) Upon talking to owner, she agreed that the dust was not an issue and is generally expected, so they would not be up charging me for it. Second issue - I made an error in the quoting process and missed the basement and a powder room, they up-charged us $60 for cleaning the 200 sq ft basement to mop without vacuuming and a 20 sq ft. powder room, which I thought was unreasonable but it is their business and their pricing so they charge what they think it's worth. Everything is an up-charge - there were some sticky spots on the floor, so I asked if they could pay attention and make sure those are cleaned but they said I would have to sign up for the deep clean for them to pay attention to the floor. Yet, they made sure I know that they went "above and beyond" for folding the toilet paper and making our bed (which we didn't ask them to do) while they failing to do the most basic clean - they mopped the floors without vacuuming first (I provided a vacuum as required per the contract). So yes, they basically just mopped around the dust/ dirt. My floor felt dirtier than before and I had to vacuum and re-mop myself after they left. My mop head was completely gray. They were at my place for 3 hours (including time they spent going in and out for phone calls) and yet my floor was still dirty after - I have hired another cleaning company since and it would take them 1.5 to 2 hours to vacuum and clean the whole house and it actually felt clean. I did not reach out to them to express my concern since my last interaction with their rep was rather unpleasant and did not think their company is a match for us considering communication, quality, and pricing. read more

I have had an extremely hit or miss experience with Life Maid Easy since I started to use them last fall, and I would not recommend them if you want reliable and consistent service. We have had multiple last minute cancellations by Life Maid Easy (the morning of or day before), which makes it impossible to plan for as working professionals. We had one wonderful technician, Sara, but she left suddenly a few months ago with no notice given to us as clients by Life Maid Easy. The other technicians have sometimes been great and other times been terrible. While LME did arrange for things to be re-done when items were not done properly, it is the lack of consistency that is not acceptable and you never know what quality of service you are going to get. We also have health issues in the household, and have kindly requested masks and vaccinated staff for all of our appointments. While we have always had vaccinated technicians, the most recent technician refused to consistently wear a mask despite me providing it to them and asking them to do so. They had their mask on top of their head when I came upstairs. This had happened with the same technician last fall too. Multiple times, I was assured by LME that they would make sure their technicians would follow this request, but again, it's the lack of consistency and follow through that puts me as a client in a bad position. Given the previous positive reviews my wife and I were excited to enlist the services of Life Made Easy to clean our recently purchased home (while still empty) on the day prior to our move-in day. I'm sure some of their technicians do a great job, but to be frank, when we returned home after the cleaning we had a hard time telling if they cleaned anything at all. In many areas of the home the dusting was skipped. Tiles in the bathrooms weren't mopped. The kitchen sink wasn't touched. Toilets weren't touched. Showers weren't touched. Significant sections of the baseboards were skipped. Cabinets and door frames weren't wiped. This list is not exhaustive. The service we purchased was advertised as a "top to bottom deluxe deep cleaning". They didn't even do 50% of what their checklist said they'd do. And this was an empty house - they didn't have to clean furniture or deal with moving anything. It should have been a slam dunk. We explained our grievances and sent picture documentation. They offered to send another technician out in a couple days to finish the job, which we initially agreed to. After our move-in day the house was completely filled with boxes and out of place furniture making many areas difficult to access, and some completely unreachable. Because of this, plus our eagerness to do some of the cleaning ourselves (so we weren't living in filth), we decided to cancel the follow-up appointment and instead asked for a partial refund. The biggest disappointment was how their owner handled the situation. The owner's responses were riddled with contradictory statements. They said "although the pictures show areas were missed, the house was fully cleaned" and "we can't do refunds, but I'll give you 10% back". 10% for what they missed is insulting. They also tried to prove the work was performed because a GPS tracker showed that their technicians were at our home for the full duration of the cleaning appointment. Then the owner tried to claim that we, customers who paid in full for a service that we were dissatisfied with, were somehow in breach of contract. That is 100% backwards. Logic massively escapes their owner. The owners whole argument hinges on their offer to send another technician out to finish the work, but they failed to comprehend that given our situation we were forced to do much of the missed cleaning ourselves, and the other areas missed would not be accessible for some time (until we were fully settled in). We wanted to move into a clean house and Life Maid Easy nuked the only opportunity to do that. This incurred so much extra time and aggravation on our end it is honestly the worst experience with a small business we have ever had. If only they had offered us more than 10% of our money back I wouldn't even be wasting my time writing this review, but the owner said the negative review that I threatened would "actually help them grow their business"....so here we are. read more
