She stated she would contact the cleaning service and give me a call back. 20 minutes went by and no one never reached back out. I called back to see what was going on, I was told oh they are almost there at 10:50am. No one never showed up. When I contacted them again to ask if this was a legit company, I was told yes the cleaners are outside and you have a brown door. MY DOOR IS NOT BROWN. Anna's initial response was literally, "Sorry for your inconvenience." The next day she said she had talked to the individual. Personally, I don't know why stealing is not an automatic grounds for IMMEDIATE termination. Anna's solution the next day was to bring back the same crew minus the individual I caught stealing. I told her that I didn't trust that crew. I gave Anna my grounds for continuing the job: 1. All new crew members 2. Anna onsite to supervise her crew. Anna decided that she would rather terminate our agreement and keep my $500 deposit. Outside of the theft, the crew showed little care with my items. They did all of the normal things, sure, and the bathrooms and carpets and such are all spic and span. But they dusted everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. They got every single dog hair out of our sofa, they washed windows, cleaned every glass door to crystal clarity, washed walls and every baseboard and every bit of trim. They did the insides of our kitchen appliances, asked what we needed and took care and time to do the job right. And the best part? I've just finished a long work day and one thing I'm not doing right now is cleaning my kitchen. I'm able to relax, take a deep breath (it smells amazing in here, btw), and just be.
