Kitschy home decor for every season and holiday, fun cocktail items to stock your home bar, soaps, lotions, and candles from local vendors, eclectic cards to perfectly address every occasion, and many more items. Found Studio screams Baltimore wrapped up in a pretty turquoise building. They offer a decent value for some of these rare items sold here only in Baltimore. And all of the women running the shop are always so pleasant every time I stop in. I tend to make Found Studio my first stop whenever I'm in need of the perfect birthday gift for a friend. Visiting Sheep's is a uniquely special experience. There is no website, no social media profile for this place. If you're like me, then you probably stumbled upon it while walking the more residential streets of Fells. It's so refreshing to just find a place, not to be advertised to go there. Hell, the only advertisement for this place that exists is a road sign on the corner. The store has been around for at least forty years. Charles, who was an art professor at UMD, and his wife Darcy are the only employees. They import goods from the UK and Ireland, traveling there yearly to scope out what's good. What isn't from Europe is a selection of pottery, postage, tea towels, etc from the east coast. I love their goods. Everything is quality, everything is so well sought out. Their two-tone cardigans are so cute, and they're honestly priced fair for what they are. This store is so lovely, and the effort put into sourcing the wool goods and curating the storefront is so palpable. I also love chatting with the owners. Please, please pay these guys a visit, if not for their 100% (which is rare these days) wool sweaters then for the atmosphere and the knickknacks and literally everything else.

I cannot wait to regularly shop here for myself and others!

We walked just a few minutes to this wonderful cafe/bookshop! Tons of fantastic fun novels, interesting memoirs, graphic novels, poetry, manga, a modern book-lover's dream! I really appreciate how the store is laid out too-- it's inviting and helps you wander and find new discoveries. Did I plan on buying three books? No but I don't think I could have found them in such a delightful way had I not gone into this store! I already finished two out of the three! Baltimore deserves more stores like this. Community is what keeps places like this strong. A side note: If you're queer or bipoc, or if you're a family member to someone that is learning to build/explore/enjoy who they are-- a store like this is a great place to pick up a couple of books by authors or characters that catch your eye! This world is diverse and incredible if we're open to it. Stores and stories shared are so important

On my most recent walk, I noticed the rainbow flag by the window and decided to take a detour. I'm SO GLAD I did. I love this book store! But it's so much more! There's a little coffee spot, Reverie Coffee, and a section that caters to kids. It is SO much bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. Oh yeah, you comic & Marvel fans will LOVE this place. They have TONS of comics and a whole Marvel section. I checked out their website, and they have book clubs you can sign up for. They have a list of events and they even have merchandise. I love the BMore shirts and sweatshirts, but in the store they have more to choose from. Dreamers & Make-Believers is the appropriate name for such a cute bookstore+. There were a few people in the store with their laptops typing away. That's what I have planned for next week. I'm just gonna hang out. All of the employees were so friendly! I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and when I was leaving. I love that! Come check it out!

I am a moleskin girl myself; but I recently purchased a Leuchtturm here in a beautiful sage green color (please note they carry MANY shades and different types!! (lined, blank, dotted!!)). Words cannot describe how excited I am when I stop by this store to see if they have any new items in stock. They also sell beautiful planners, pens, markers, post it notes, etc. While it is a smaller shop, I think it is very well organized and laid out and I think the owner is really strategic about what they carry because I've always left feeling like nothing was lacking in my experience. Free street parking is available on nearby streets and this shop is right by several bus stations so it's easy to get to. There is a single step to enter the store if you have concerns regarding accessibility. I don't think they're active on Yelp, but they are active on Instagram where they post when the shop is having events like journaling club!! and stationary events. I also just have to add that I had a lovely conversation with the owner about journaling and travel and after mentioning a trip I was planning to go on to London, she actually gave me a stationary shop recommendation there as well.
