I found this deal on Living Social and decided to give it a try. I have been looking to spend less time thinking about what and where to eat. The idea of cooking is even more unappealing, so I found an ideal compromise (short of a house-husband). Have someone plan my meals, cook them, AND deliver it to me! I was skeptical even when I chose the meal plan option of 400-600 calories per meal (will I be full?!). The website was not the easiest to find information. The voucher page was down and they indicated to email/call. I opted to call because I had questions about delivery. This was also confusing at first. However, it was easily sorted by the friendly customer rep. Deliveries are made to the home on Sundays. I requested a call when driver is on the way or when he has arrived. The rep also said I needed to email the information but was willing to take down my information. Seeing how information may be lost over the telephone I opted to email eventually. I was excited about the variety of food, and how well-balanced the meals seem (mix of proteins and vegetables). The quantity provided was filling at first. STAY AWAY!! This is an absolute SCAM! I paid for 1 month upfront and they only delivered one week's worth of meals. After that they ghosted...website is down, phone lines are busy, the one time I did get through I talked to their "secretary" who promised someone would get back in touch with me...but never did. I will be reporting these guys to local authorities, BBB, etc.. I REPEAT...DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THESE GUYS. ESPECIALLY BEWARE OF KEVIN MOSES AS HE IS THE ONE WHO SOLD ME ON THE SERVICE. Compared to their competitors like Hello Fresh, this has been a terrible and absolutely awful customer experience. I've been trying to use a promo code that I bought at a silent auction for 3 weeks now, the code doesn't work. I've called them over 10 times, the office and the agent that was at the auction. Left several voicemails, messages, and asked for a manager. Every time I go through an information process, what's your name, number, email, bla bla, 10 mins, and then "There's no manager currently here, but they'll call back" ... And still no call... Seems like a scam to me, I'm 1 phone call away from reporting you guys to the BBB. read more

I used Life Convenience for a week. The good: delivery was on time. Some of the meals were VERY good. And it was nice to come home in the evening to a meal that wasn't from a can or box or exactly what you had the night before. Meals arrived ready to microwave. If you order a meal delivery service you want maximum convenience and this delivered on that. The improvements: I personally am not a big meat eater. You'll never see me make a meal out of chicken breast and grapes. I don't like chicken that much. Since this is personal preference I won't factor it into the rating. But I do wish you could get meals with a different protein to carb ratio. Or at least more plant proteins. I would definitely consider doing this again. I was referred to Life Convenience by a friend and I am so glad I pulled the trigger and tried it out! Fresh food (still warm when it is delivered) delivered to my door every Sunday! I don't have to go shopping or prep my own meals! It is like having a personal chef making healthy meals for you! Prices are cheap too. NO NO NO!!!!! Run as fast as you can! I worked with this company for a short period of time. To find out that the nutritional facts on the labels are not "true" data. The portion ounces and sizes are not weighed and accurate. During the preparation plating process they left food out and in the food temperature danger zone for over 8 hours and improperly stored in the coolers. I was very impressed with them. They went out of their way to deliver meals to a friend . On a day that they don't deliver, because I let them know he had a stroke. The delivery was less than 12 hours after my call.They even volunteered to deliver that day! They loved the food ! read more

I'm amazed by how so much flavor is packed into so few calories and can still be filling. I was spoiled by the simplicity of this weeks lunches and dinners that were all fresh, healthy and delicious. This is probably the best thing I've done this year! I want to eat healthy, but doing that takes soooo much time! With me being busy and having a demanding life, this service is perfect for me! I tried Life convenience for a week in May 2015 as me and my Fiancée were getting in shape for our wedding. Most of the meals were good so I spoke to DC and Kevin about signing up to get meals up to our wedding (2 months worth). We worked out a deal and I signed up over the phone. Within a couple of weeks they didn't deliver because of an issue they had and didn't notify me in advance. Then a couple weeks after that they closed down their kitchen for 2 weeks and I wasn't notified that time either. Both times I contacted them and asked why I wasn't notified and after some research they found they had typed in my email address incorrectly. With the 3 missed weeks my fiancée and I asked to refund those 3 weeks as we were at our wedding date and didn't need the meals any longer. I was told they would mail a refund check. The check never showed so I called and emailed multiple times asking for the check and they said they had my physical address wrong. I gave them the address again and emailed it them. I still haven't received the check and I left numerous voice mails (they never answer my call) and emailed and I still haven't received a response. Overall the food is good but the service is poor. If you sign up I strongly recommend to sign up online so you type in your contact information and pay week to week. If you pay in advance for multiple weeks or months you risk not getting it back if/when they miss weeks and not being able to reach anyone with life convenience. I learned about the company Life Convenience from Groupon.com. I purchased a 4week meal plan from them last month May2016. On my account I selected the proteins, vegetables and carbs that I wanted for my meals for the upcoming week. I picked up may meals on a Monday morning, got home looked at all the meals, and they were all incorrect. I received 10 meals that were all the same. It consisted of tilapia, sweet potatoes and broccoli. Can you imagine eating the samething for five days in a row. I workout in weight training 4 days a week, so this was not pleasant eating the same protein everyday. If you are in weight training or any type of workout program, I am sure anyone would like a variety of meals; To satisfy your taste buds. I contacted one of the reps at Life Convenience, he assured me that my next weeks meals would be prepared exactly how I want them to be prepared. The next week came, I went to pickup my meals, got home and again my meals were incorrect again. Out of the 10 meals that I ordered only 1 was correct. At this point I am heated and totally not happy. I again contacted the same rep at Life Convenience, he did nothing to solve the problem. I asked if I could get another set of meals prepared how I ordered my meals. And he stated "No", because the chefs only work on weekends. So I again had no choice of eating meals that I did not want. Now lets re-track. I purchased a 4week meal program in advance. But so far 2weeks of the meals are incorrectly prepared. Upon eating the 2nd week of meals, on a Friday I ate one of the meals that consisted of tilapia, yellow squash and broccoli. After consuming the meal, I began getting mild stomach pains, and feeling light headed. I was really sick throughout the entire day, basically vomiting everywhere. Sick to the point that I could not eat or drink anything else. To make a long story short. The next day 5/21/16 I was admitted to the hospital because my body went into dehydration due to me not being able to eat or drink anything in 24hrs. The doctors did a number of blood test and the results were I consumed some bad protein that contained bad bacteria. The doctors stated that the protein was not clean and was not in eating condition. After being released for the hospital later that day. I again contacted the same rep. Explained to him what happened. And I stated to him that I wanted to cancel all remaining meals, and requested a refund of the remaining weeks because I am no longer interested in eating these meals. He stated he would look over my account and he would get back in touch with me. After numerous times of trying to contact the rep again to get a status, he finally responded to me stating that I would receive a refund check in the mail for the remaining weeks. At this point it has been 2 weeks since the rep stated the check was mailed. But still on today 6/14/16 I have not received a refund. I contacted the rep last week, and he has not yet to reply to me on the status of my refund. I called the 888 number from the website, no one answers the phone. I am 100% disgusted of this company. They are 100% unprofessional. I am at the point of taking my issue with them to a higher authority to get my issue resolved. I have blood tests that proves the condition on the food that I consumed did contain bad bacteria. So I will get my issue resolved on a higher level. read more
