The staff was cheerful and friendly from the door. My eyes fixated on the carrot cupcakes. We got three of those and also a sweet potato pie tart. I'm a fan! Carrot cake that is clearly made from scratch. Fresh, moist, a perfect balance of flavor and spice, and truly homemade buttercream frosting. Omg. I want to go back already. $4.50 a cupcake. The bill was $23 for 4 treats. Not bad at all. They had an assortment of fresh baked cookies too. I have to try the oatmeal

I am going to have to stop coming here, not because the product isn't good, but because it is so scrumptious! If I keep coming back, I'm not going to reach my weight loss goals, so I need to find a way to practice self-control. Both slices were homemade deliciousness. The caramel was so creamy, and the pineapple slice came with a real pineapple ring. The cake itself was incredibly moist and full of flavor. Service is always great. You are greeted right away, the prices are very reasonable, and with free parking nearby, you are in and out quickly. If you visit on a Friday, you get even more flavor options. They also sell delicious cookies, like their brown butter cookie, with nut, nut-free, and vegan choices. They recently celebrated their one-year anniversary, and I can see them staying around for a long time. If you live in or near the area, definitely come support this small business and bring someone to share a slice with!

I read another comment that stated they experienced the same thing. I was thinking I was a one off but apparently not. Its not unheard of to cut sweetness with a little salt but the cupcakes, to me, arent sweet enough for that amount of salt. I REEEEALLY wanted to enjoy this spot but the search continues. Nonetheless, the place was small, cute and clean! I met the owners mom who was sooo pleasant so it pains me to leave this review but I HAVE to be honest. So if you are into salty sweets, id save give it go bc the pricing for the size is justifiable. There is also ample parking.

She emailed me saying she doesn't do my style of cake because she doesn't create figurines. I notified her that I already have my figurine fondant. i ended up booking with someone else, but then April emails me back with a quote for $260 for a 6 inch plain design and two dozen simple cupcakes. I responded in disappointment and asked her, how do you charge someone $260 for a plain cake and you don't even make toppers? I would've just went to Publix or Costco, but I really want a lemon curd cake, and they don't offer that flavor. Anyways, April responds and informs me that she purposely over charged me because my theme is tacky and she didn't want to do it. Then she proceeded to call me out of my name. Even though she proceeded to give me instructions on how to pay and order. I just knew something was off with her, and I'm so glad I called her out on it. Otherwise I would've wasted nearly $300 on a disappointment.

Scrolling thru Yelp and wallah! First impressions are always the best impression of all. This place…read morereally impressed. The service is very gracious just like the food portions. Ordered the Chicken Philly with every on it and I will tell you it is not like the Philly sandwiches from your the usual suspects, i.e. American Deli and the other joints in the area and a drink comes with your meal. This is not a fast food spot at all and the sandwich did not shoot my blood pressure through roof with the taste of MSG. The inside decor is very appealing like a cafe should be. So back to the sandwich and the accompanying french fries. About half way through the sandwich I had to tap out. What really topped everything off was the wonderful $2.99 special offer for 3 nice size cookies. Can't wait to return to check out another wonderful plate of food. By the way, I wish there was a 6 star rating because this place gives back to the community by feeding the less fortunate. We need more restaurants in our area doing this. Keep of the Good Work.
